13. Aspen #2

“At the workshop you’ll learn how to tie one, and several of the books on the list have step-by-step diagrams so you’ll be able to tie him in one at home.

Start with no more than two hours and let him build up an hour at a time if wearing them is something he enjoys, which I think it is.

He was such a good boy for me while I was tying him up. He never twitched or squirmed.”

“I have pictures of Zephyr in my den,” I explained. “As soon as he saw them, he was fascinated.”

“I loved that photoshoot,” Tristan said. “Zephyr is the perfect muse and always enhances whatever ropes I choose to bind him in.”

“I’m looking forward to that with my pup,” I said. “Thank you for the demonstration and for taking the extra time with us.”

“No problem. I’ll see you at the workshop. Bring him with you. It’s much easier to learn how to tie knots and patterns on a partner, especially an eager one. Just leave the gear at home, it gets in the way.”

“We will. Thanks again.”

Phoenix waved his paw as I led him back over to Parker and his pillow, and happily settled back on it with a yip, while Zephyr emerged again, this time doing cartwheels.

Later tonight, I’d be doing a bit of online shopping for soft lengths of rope to practice with, as well as some of the books on the list he’d given me and safety scissors.

Shit, better make a mental note of that since they were prominently displayed beside the ropes he’d laid out.

They did three other demonstrations before ending with a suspension display, their Daddy handling that part of the performance.

Every piece had a musical theme. Several times I felt Phoenix swaying to the beat, one of his ears brushing against my hand, but he stayed behind the rope and on his pillow, fully engaged with the presentation from start to finish.

When it was over, he clapped his paws enthusiastically and stayed on his pillow until some of the crowd had thinned out, making it much easier for us to move.

I checked the timer and saw that he had roughly thirty minutes left to keep the corset on.

Despite knowing it would buzz and vibrate when the time was up, I was a protective Daddy and slid my finger beneath the ropes again, just to be sure it wasn’t digging into his skin.

Tristan had done an amazing job of making the corset snug without being tight.

Phoenix would have faint impressions that I could picture him admiring whenever he saw them.

The low, rumbly sound he let out was pure pup space, so I never took my hand off him as I guided him deeper into the dungeon.

“Is there something you’d like to do tonight?” I asked.

First, he wiggled his rear, making that stumpy tail of his wag, then he pointed toward the back of the room and the roped-off play space where the pets were frolicking.

“Corset has to come off first,” I told him.

Nodding, he held still so I could remove it and caress the impressions it left behind, each making him shiver and press into my touch.

“Alright, let’s get your gear back on, then you can go play,” I said as Parker passed me the chest gear, and I passed him the rope to tuck into his bag.

We’d come prepared with toys, both fun and naughty, but also with the mindset that we’d let our pup lead us, since this was our first time in a play space together.

Despite it being a short walk to the back of the club, I’d clipped his slim chain to the front of his harness, since the dungeon was packed tonight.

Every few seconds it seemed like someone stopped us saying hello, but Phoenix never got antsy and allowed Parker and me to introduce him to everyone, though I knew he wouldn’t remember their names.

His gaze kept darting to the back of the room where the other pets were playing, but like Tristan said, he was such a good pup, well-mannered and patient, never pulling or trying to bound away, even when we got stopped four feet from the play area.

I could feel him quivering with anticipation and quickly halted the conversation after exchanging pleasantries so he could play.

As soon as I unclipped his leash, he dashed over to the other pups, yipping and woofing, three of them dancing around, pawing the air, which quickly grew to four when a kitty joined in. While I couldn’t be sure, it looked like the same one from the demonstration.

Parker joined him in the space, and it was my turn to sit back and watch as he found a seat and began to rifle through his duffle bag.

He laid three toys out on the ground in front of him, squeaking one, until Phoenix rushed over to investigate and brought the rest of the pets too.

“Wanna play fetch?” Parker asked.

Several woofs and a mew later, Parker tossed it for them, grinning as they scrambled after it.

Yet those big pups were super gentle with a much smaller kitty in their midst and didn’t crowd or bump him.

When the kitty scooped it up and danced around triumphantly, the others danced around him before scampering back to Parker so he could throw it again.

After several throws, Phoenix was more interested in the tug-of-war rope than retrieving, but Parker still managed to toss the toy for the others, including a bunny with a top hat who’d joined in.

I knew that gear too, and the Daddy who joined his bunny in the play space to take a seat beside Parker.

I’d sold it to him out of Dorian’s shop.

He’d brought toys and treats too. I loved getting to lean against the railing and watch Phoenix playing without a care in the world.

Every now and again he’d rush over so I could rub his ears or feed him a treat, but for the most part, his focus was on playing with the other pets and having an amazing time.

Phoenix bounded across the floor, chasing a toy, rolled over and played with a dangly clump of feathers, and stalked across the play space on his belly with the kitty and a Dalmatian, following a toy the bunny’s Daddy dragged around the area.

His eyes gleamed when he rushed back to me next, only this time, instead of wanting his ears rubbed, he reached for the buckles.

“I think I’m done playing now,” he said as I undid them for him.

I caught Parker’s eyes and jerked my head, letting him know it was time to pack up and move on.

“How much of your gear would you like to take off?” I asked as I started wiping down the headgear.

“All of it, please, then I’d like to feel your whip. I know you put one in there.”

“And how do you know that?”

“One was missing from the display rack in the bedroom.”

“You’re right,” I replied. “I’ll introduce you as soon as you’ve had another water.”

“Okay,” he replied, accepting it as Parker joined us.

“No chugging,” I cautioned as Phoenix unscrewed the cap.

“I won’t,” he promised.

He sipped it as I removed the pieces one by one and passed them to Parker to wipe. Between us we made short work of cleaning his gear and storing it back in the bag, while the purple boy shorts he had on beneath the gear would be perfect for the rest of the night.

“I finished it,” he replied, passing the empty bottle to Parker before taking the elastic out of his hair.

The lights caught the red and gold streaks as he shook it out before taking my hand.

“Can we find a bench?” Phoenix asked. “It isn’t fair if Parker can’t play too.”

“Sounds like you have something in mind,” I said, giving his hand a squeeze as I led him through the club, hoping to spot an empty piece of equipment.

“I think he’s gonna like it too,” Phoenix declared.

“What am I going to like?” Parker asked.

“You’ll see,” Phoenix replied.

I caught a glimpse of the devilish smirk he flashed Parker and couldn’t wait to see what he got up to once we… Yes… I tugged a bit harder than I meant to when I spotted the empty bench and managed to snake between folks to get to it before anyone else saw that it was free.

“So now do I get to find out what you two have planned for me?” Parker asked as he set the bags on the table beside the bench.

“Oh no, it’s all him, whatever it is. I don’t have the slightest idea,” I said as I held my hands up.

“The first thing you have to do is take this off,” Phoenix said, tugging at the hem of the skintight iridescent shirt Parker had on tonight.

“You never have to ask me twice to lose clothes,” Parker said as he peeled it off.

“Okay, now, let’s just put the pillow here,” Phoenix said, taking it from him and placing it on the bench, “and you sit on it.”
