Twenty-Four

Her Destiny

Sin

This damn bachelor party was a fucking snooze fest. I would’ve taken a quiet night at the penthouse over this bullshit.

I despised all the dance poles, high platform stilettos slapping throughout the club, the smell of pussy and mirrors with the reflections of every asshole in this joint made my stomach turn.

Booze was my thing, but strippers weren’t. I could have access to all the tits and asses in the world, and I wouldn’t give a flying fuck. Other women didn’t interest me because I only had eyes for one woman.

Liv Valencia. My bride-to-be. None of these women could do what she could.

Fuck. I wanted Liv. I was hard thinking about her.

“Hey, baby,” a stripper purred at me as she peered over her shoulder while holding onto the steel pole and wiggling her ass.

Christ. Instant boner killer.

I threw some bills at her and prayed she’d go away. Big fucking mistake. She bent over, and I swear to fucking God, her asshole puckered at me. Bile crept its way up my throat, and beads of sweat formed on my forehead.

Puke. I’d vomit all over the goddamn stage. For the love of God, put me out of this misery.

I couldn’t. I was a motherfucking pussy. But I must’ve had a green, sickly complexion because the stripper made a disgusted face and danced onto her next eager victim.

“Thank you, Jesus.” I blew out a breath.

I didn’t want to partake in a guys’ night away from our girl, and neither did Saint. Saint looked uncomfortable. We both were out of place. Our day-to-day life consisted of watching Liv twenty-four seven. Not this shit.

Saint rolled his eyes while a stripper shook her tits in his face, and he backed up in his seat. The exotic dancer, naked from the chest up, took the hint, and she moved over to Liv’s dad.

Frank’s eyeballs bugged out of his head while he stared at the woman’s chest. He practically drooled over this broad who was probably the age of his goddamn daughter.

He reached out for her breasts jiggling back and forth, but there was a no-touching rule.

She shook her head and whispered something in his ear.

This only encouraged her chest to come closer, and he probably popped a stiffy on the spot.

The old fella might die of a heart attack.

The dancer backed up and bent over. Her skimpy skirt would surely reveal her goods. Frank’s eyes lit up like Christmas.

“Get a load of this one!” Frank exclaimed over the music as he elbowed Saint in the arm and tucked bills into the elastic of her scandalous thong. “She can’t get enough of me!”

Saint leaned toward Frank. “Good. Keep her.”

“I will!” Frank watched the stripper wipe her hair back and twirl around the pole. “Don’t tell my wife.”

“No way.” Saint shook his head and slapped Frank on the back. “Your secret is safe with me.”

Saint got up from his seat and joined me. “We never should’ve picked Zane as the best man. I told you the fucking prick would ditch us.”

“Relax, Saint.” I leaned in close. “Zane would be here if he could.”

Zane couldn’t attend the bachelor party he had planned because he had an unexpected commitment pop up at the last minute. Goddamn lucky bastard. I wished I had another obligation to partake in, but the celebration was already in full swing when we found out. We couldn’t bail.

Great. More tits headed our way. Quick. Look angry.

I tensed up every muscle I could in my face. One eye twitched. My scowl was undeniable, and I grunted my displeasure to fend off the nosy bitch. But the money-hungry broad still kept coming.

Saint hissed, “Scram.”

“Aw. Why are you tense, baby?” She lay down in front of us and spread her thighs. “Need a dance?”

“Nope.” I slammed bills onto the stage and pointed at Frank. “But he does.”

The erotic dancer smiled, scooped up every piece of cash and rolled her nasty pussy away. Phew. Saved by Frank. We’d continue to send the strippers his way, and he’d have raw fish for hours to come.

“Damn, man, that was a close one.” Saint sighed as he leaned back in his chair and pulled out his cell phone. “I wonder what Liv is up to right now?”

I yanked his phone out of his hand. “No. We agreed we’d give her a night of freedom. A few more goddamn agonizing hours of this horse shit, and she’ll be ours.”

“You know you want to look,” Saint antagonized me.

“Dude. No.” I held up my index finger at Saint. “Don’t.”

“Oh, come on, Sin!” Saint tossed up his hands and reached for his device. “Give me the damn thing.”

“No. This is for our own good.” I held the phone behind my back.

Saint kept at me. He didn’t want to give up easily. He slapped at me like his damn cats with their claws out.

“Give it back, Sin,” Saint said.

“Quit it with the sissy shit.” I stood up and backed out of my seat.

The legs scraped along the floor as the chair fell backward and hit a waitress carrying drinks on a tray. She let out a gasp of surprise. She swayed left and then right but caught her balance. The drinks never crashed to the floor.

“Watch where you’re going, asshole!” the waitress shouted at me.

“Me?” I tilted my head to the side and nodded at her. “Maybe this is a you problem.”

“Bouncer!” the waitress shrieked.

I winced at the awful sound she produced while she made a scene.

Fuck! The bitch had a voice box on her! She yelled like a wild banshee.

A big, tough-looking motherfucker came over. He wore a name tag that read Eddie and a butt-ugly scowl.

“Hey. How’s it hanging, Ed?” I asked him in a friendly manner.

Saint took the distraction as an opportunity to snatch the cell phone out of my hand.

I turned around to Saint.

“Don’t you dare go on—” A tap on my shoulder shut me up, and I spun around.

A fist flew at my face. I ducked. The bouncer’s punch landed in the palm of Saint’s hand.

“No one messes with my best friend but me,” Saint grunted through clenched teeth and twisted the bouncer’s hand backward until it cracked.

“Ah!” he cried out in pain and bent to one knee.

Ace came to help.

“Help! Someone—” The waitresses’ shout sounded muffled with Ace’s hand over her mouth.

“Now, now.” Ace tsked while he showed his gun tucked inside the waistband of his pants. “We don’t want any trouble. Can I remove my hand?”

The petrified waitress flared her nostrils while she nodded. Her eyes were locked on his gun until he let his suit jacket fall back into place. Their eyes met in an intense staring match.

Ace took his hand away. “Good.”

Ace turned to me. “Go. I know you don’t want to be here, cousin. I’ve got this covered.”

“Thanks, Ace.” I gave him a curt nod.

Saint let go of the bouncer and the dickhead fell to the ground. He cradled his injured wrist in agony.

“Here’s the cousin I’ve been waiting to meet! Nice to meet—” I placed a hand on Saint’s chest.

“Fist bump explosion,” I said.

“What?” Saint narrowed his eyebrows.

I sighed. “Just do it.”

Saint made a fist in the air, and my cousin did the same. No contact. Only expanding fingers.

Ace chuckled with a shake of his head. “You two are weird.”

“Yep.” I popped the P.

“Go on. Get outta here,” Ace said.

Ace fastened the only button on his jacket and ran a hand through his hair.

He headed back to the blackjack table, where he fit right in with the deck of cards.

Despite the stripper’s dance, he remained uninterested, revealing his intentions with a money chip flash.

He was ready to gamble and was probably damn good at it, considering his family owned a casino.

I turned my attention back to the waitress, who appeared scared. Good. I wouldn’t have her any other way.

I made sure I tipped the server’s tray as I walked past, and Saint followed beside me. The drinks crashed to the floor at her feet. She gasped but didn’t speak a word as we exited the building.

“Christ.” Saint inhaled a deep breath in. “I can breathe again.”

“Place reeks of cunt,” I added while I walked with my hands in my pockets and kicked at a pebble on the ground. “But what the heck are we going to do now?”

Saint held up his cell phone and cocked an eyebrow. “Crash a bachelorette party?”

“No,” I replied.

Saint put out his arm in front of me and forced me to stop.

“Come on, Sin.” Saint placed his palms together with his device in between and begged me down on his knees. “Please.”

Saint gave me his damn puppy-dog eyes. Fuck. He knew I only put up with his damn cats, but I loved dogs. Asshole.

“Fine. You win.” I ruffled my best friend’s hair. “Let’s go find out what our little obsession is up to.”
