Chapter fourteen

I 'm going to lose my shit.

He walked up to her he had the right.

Like she was available.

Like I wasn't watching.

Then he touched her.

That was it.

I growled.

Didn't think.

Didn't blink.

I crossed the room before anyone could stop me.

The only reason he's still breathing is because he gave me something, an opening.

A reason to step in.

A reason to touch her.

To press my hand to her lower back and hear her breath hitch.

To show her what it feels to be wanted right.

She's not mine.

Not yet.

But I don't need a title to make a claim.

She'll figure that out soon enough.
