THEO is BOOK TWO in the Forest Falls Universe and contains spoilers for CALLUM.

Whether you need a refresher, chose not to read CALLUM because of the content/triggers warnings, or had no idea CALLUM existed until this very moment: I got you, boo.

THE BASICS: There is a rift that has been forming between the Father and his five sons. The sons believe their people will be better off without the Father’s tyrannical rule. The eldest son, Grant, is poised to take over the MacAlister Mafia, but the Father has no intentions of letting go.

BOOK ONE: Callum returns from time outside of Forest Falls to find his ex-girlfriend, Rosalind (the bane of his existence and object of all his desires), is running from the GiGi’s and the RMF. Rosalind had worked for the GiGi’s, as their recruiter, but she had fallen into a bad spot with Ginetta Ricci (head of the GiGi’s). Ginetta was forcing Rosalind to sleep with Dodge Roman (head of the RMF) to gain information about the RMF. Dodge found out and tried to kill Rosalind, but she got away. Rosalind knew they would come for her, so she ran to the MacAlisters for protection.

While Rosalind is in Callum’s care, we meet Theodore Grady. Theo is a gentle giant, quick to laugh and always ready to offer his assistance to the MacAlister Brothers. He also has a habit of leaving (unused) sex toys in people’s houses…it’s a thing.

Things come to a head, and Rosalind is taken from Callum’s house in the night. Callum and his brothers track her deep into the forest, where she is being held by Dodge Roman and the GiGi’s. While timing their attack, the MacAlister Brothers learn that one of their own men has been giving information over to the Father about their plans to take over the MacAlister Mafia. A fight breaks out and the MacAlisters kill Dodge Roman and the men he has brought with him. They are helped by the mysterious Grim Reaper, who took up residence in the trees as a sniper. Callum gets Rosalind back, and the book ends before you learn what the MacAlisters are going to do with the GiGi’s.

CALLUM’s epilogue is told from Rosalind’s point of view, and it takes place two months later. Callum, Rosalind, and their three-year-old daughter, Violet, are moving into a new house. The MacAlister Brothers are all standing in the front yard while Rosalind is out back with her daughter and Callum’s niece, Miles. Rosalind hears shouting from the front of the house, followed by massive amounts of gunfire. She takes the girls and runs into the woods, but you do not learn what happened out front.

That is where THEO’s story begins…
