26. Sienna #2
One single word, but it was the most important and honest one.
“I’m not a relationship kind of man.”
I had no plans on marrying him—or anyone else—but I wanted him.
“I don’t care,” I murmured. “I just want you.”
“You should really be careful what you wish for, Sienna, because you might just get it.”
TYRAN
“You should really be careful what you wish for, Sienna, because you might just get it.”
And I was really—REALLY—tempted to give it to her.
I was at my wit’s end on what to do about this woman, but I knew my restraint and resistance were fading. But really, how could it not be? She was beautiful, sexy, witty, and so damn determined.
I didn’t usually like blondes. In fact, I didn’t touch them. Probably everything to do with my mommy dearest and her blonde-haired phase when she managed to fuck us all over by betraying her husband and children.
Damn bitch. It was her affair that had cost my father his life.
“You’re making a habit of sneaking into my clubs,” I grumbled.
She shrugged. “The guy turned me away last week.”
“For a reason.”
“What’s the reason?” she asked, tilting her head in defiance. “The fact that you can’t resist me, so you want me out of sight and out of mind?”
The little minx.
I arched my eyebrow, lazily perched on my desk, and folded my arms across my chest. Sienna’s eyes fell to them. She parted her lips, her cheeks turning a shade darker, then she bit down on her bottom lip.
Fuck!
She wasn’t even trying to be sexy, and it was exactly the reason I’d been keeping my distance. She was a temptress that got my groin working every time she was near and I was trying hard to be decent.
She took a step forward, then another, until we stood toe to toe, her hooker heels pressed against my loafers.
“When did you spot me?” she asked.
I pointed to the monitor. “It’s impossible to hide your angelic face.”
She smiled victoriously. “So you wanted me in the club?”
“How do you figure that?” I asked, my tone flat.
“You could have picked up the phone and told that bouncer at the door to turn me away.”
She was right, of course.
I had to add smart to her list of qualities. Dammit!
“Why did you kiss me that first day?” she asked, her eyes shining like stars against the dark skies.
“You looked kissable—and of age,” I deadpanned.
She brushed her fingertips across her nose, and my gaze locked on those freckles. I wanted to lick them, kiss them, and then lick them again.
“I am,” she murmured, lifting on her toes, but she was still a whole head shorter than I was. “Both.”
“Sienna.” My voice was a tortured groan. “I’m fifteen years older than you.”
I had to stop this before we got too far.
“Older, younger… it doesn’t matter. We’re both of age.” Her small hand pressed against my chest. “I know you feel this too. It might last a day, a week, a year. But why not enjoy it?”
Add sensible to the fucking list.
Shit, when she put it that way, I was starting to wonder why I was resisting her.
Oh, that’s right.
She didn’t belong in my world where people kill, steal, and cheat.
“Sienna, you don’t belong in my world.”
“Says who?”
“I do,” I grumbled, taking her ridiculous wig off and putting it in the trash can. “I’m sure you’ve watched The Godfather or The Sopranos or some other shit like that to get an idea of what world I live in.”
She arched her delicate blonde brow. “Still not convinced.”
We could go round and round all day, but her stubbornness would get in the way. Unless… an idea flickered in my mind.
I took her chin between my fingers. “Tell me how you always know where I’ll be?”
She smiled. “I’m majoring in computer engineering. I’m pretty good at hacking.”
I shook my head. “Makes you a little criminal, huh?”
“Well, I wouldn’t say that. I only wanted your schedule, not your… other stuff.”
“But it’s an invasion of privacy.”
She let out an exasperated breath. “So was your tongue down my throat when you met me, but you don’t see me complaining.”
I smiled. “My world is criminal.”
“What are you getting at?”
“You could never be a part of it.”
“Test me.”
She walked right into my trap, and for a moment, I paused. Except I needed to prove a point and show her that this world wasn’t something she wanted. That I wasn’t what she wanted. Not really.
“Hack into Perez Cortes’s bank account.”
“Who’s that?” Fuck, talk about clueless. “Is that a bad guy?”
“Very bad.”
Sienna was the type of girl who didn’t like to get in trouble. She would flat-out refuse me, or potentially do her homework on Perez and then finally be scared of me.
“Okay, then he deserves it. Consider it done.” Just like that.
I stared at her with disbelief. She couldn’t be serious, could she?
“Give me a day or two, and I’ll wipe him clean,” she added, smiling proudly.
“Okay,” I said slowly. Was she really that good at hacking? Yes, she got into my schedule on my phone, but that wasn’t that difficult, considering it wasn’t my encrypted device.
“Now it’s your turn to do something for me.”
I scoffed. “Quick with your demands, huh?”
She shrugged. “I’m living in the moment and all that.”
“Okay, tell me what you want.”
The sooner I send her out of my office, the better. The temptation and that scent of apples was getting me drunk.
“Kiss me,” she breathed, her eyes hazing over with desire as they locked on my lips. She licked them and added, “Please, Ty. Kiss me like that first time.” She looked at me mischievously. “Who knows, it might be our last kiss.”
“I’m trying so hard to do right by you,” I murmured, bending my head and brushing my lips against hers. “It’s a first for me, you know.”
She scanned my face, trying to understand. “First what? Surely you don’t mean it’s your first time having sex.”
“Hell no.” I let out a sardonic breath. “It’s a first for me—trying to do the right thing for a stranger.”
She tentatively brushed her tongue against my lips before pressing her mouth to mine. “I don’t qualify as a stranger.”
I arched my eyebrow. “Is that so?”
“Yes, we skipped that stage the moment you kissed me.”
Something snapped in me.
I hoisted her up, my hands on her ass. I carried her the few short steps toward the pool table, the sudden move drawing a startled breath from her.
I swallowed her gasp with my mouth on hers. Her legs instinctively wrapped around me, pulling us closer. Her heels pressed against my back.
I pushed my tongue inside her warm mouth and kissed her like a man dying of thirst. It was fierce and impulsive, a result of months of restraint collapsing in a single heartbeat.
“Fucking green apples,” I murmured, then kissed her hard again.
She met me with the same urgency, her fingers tightening against my shoulders as the world around us seemed to fall away.
Everything blurred into meaningless noise.
There was only her, the warmth of her against me, and the dizzying realization that whatever line I had been trying so hard not to cross, I had just stepped over it.
I gripped her hips, her ass on the pool table, right on the edge.
“Want me to stop?”
“Never.”
I pushed her legs apart and her ridiculously short dress rode up, giving me a glimpse of her red lacy thong.
I lowered on my knees and licked a hot, wet trail up her inner thigh.
She gasped, her hands coming to my hair and gripping the strands hard. She whimpered and I looked up, locking eyes with her. Then I kissed her through the flimsy material of her panties.
I dipped my tongue, leaving the material blocking my way to her pussy.
She moaned, and her hooded gaze on me was such a fucking turn-on.
“Should I stop?” I rasped, lifting my head.
“No,” she panted, grasping my hair and pushing my head back down between her legs.
I chuckled, then inhaled her scent deep into my lungs. I hooked my fingers in her panties. She lifted her butt to make it easier for me to take them off and I slowly dragged them down her legs.
Then I spread her legs wider. “I’m going to enjoy this very much.”
I buried my head into her pussy and licked. Her hips arched, sliding closer to my mouth. She was so wet, and I relished in her taste.
I circled my tongue over her clit and she bucked.
“Fuck!”
I smirked at her response. It was so… open, innocent, and unpracticed. I loved it. I dipped my index finger into her entrance, then drew out her arousal.
“Your juices are staining my pool table,” I grunted, mentally swearing to never get rid of that damn thing.
“Sorry,” she breathed, jerking against my mouth. “I’ll buy you a new one. Now stop talking.”
I smiled darkly at her eagerness and got to work.
I ate her until she screamed my name, shuddering under my mouth and gripping my hair like she was scared to let go and drown.
Sienna was right about one thing. We would be so fucking good together. If only she wasn’t who she was, and I wasn’t who I was.
