24. CHAPTER 24

ARIA

I squinted at the bottle, readying myself to refill Serfina’s glass. I wasn’t sure if it was her hand swaying or mine, but it was safe to say we were both tipsy. This time, only a dribble trickled out. I examined the bottle, trying to work out where the rest was, and we promptly burst out laughing.

“We need more wine.” She giggled.

Two bottles down in a few hours, and I was still having fun.

I couldn’t remember the last time I had laughed so much. It was nice to be able to do so without worrying about any consequences. To be a normal twenty-two-year-old. To fully enjoy myself without fear of what was to come after.

“Wait.” I placed my arms out, expecting everything to freeze in the room. “I have another bottle in the kitchen.”

Serfina danced excitedly. I stood up, but it must have been too quickly, because my body felt like it was spinning. I paused for a second.

“Oh! Let me tell Hayden to bring some more as well,” Serfina suggested, grabbing her phone and somehow managing to dial his number.

“Bring more wine!” she ordered him as soon as he answered and then hung up without another word.

I managed to make my way to the kitchen without falling over, then stumbled back to the living room, bottle of wine in hand.

Without delay, I opened it and refilled our glasses.

Serfina turned the music up slightly, grabbing her glass and swaying to the beat.

Angel’s voice filled the room, his smooth London R&B drawing me in.

There were no words to describe how talented this man was. I gulped my wine and joined her.

I didn’t know how long we’d been dancing and laughing. All I knew was that the bottle was empty again. Serfina squinted as she scrolled through her phone, searching again for Hayden’s contact.

Just as she located it, there was a knock on the door. She squealed, tossed the phone onto the sofa, and flung the door open, proceeding to jump on Hayden and straddle him as he caught her, kissing him as he carried her back into the room.

My eyes drifted back to the door as Sebastian strolled in. Serfina soon jumped off Hayden and plucked the wine from his hands. He raised his eyebrow, smiling at her, before meeting my gaze intensely.

I felt it to my core.

I looked away nervously. “Let me grab some more glasses.”

In the kitchen, I leaned against the counter, breathing deeply, trying to get control of myself.

My head spun from the alcohol and the sudden rush of heat to my core.

I tried to push the feelings down, but they wouldn’t go away.

Sebastian had always had this effect on me.

I jumped up on the counter, crossing my legs to extinguish the heat still lingering between them.

All I wanted was to feel his fingers push into me.

“Nyx.” Sebastian’s low voice broke through my thoughts.

He looked more rugged this evening. Every time I saw him, he seemed more handsome.

Maybe I was just noticing details now, like the faint scar above his right eyebrow.

I didn’t remember that from before. He stood in front of me as he brushed my hair behind my ear.

His fingertips lingered on my cheek, causing my breath to hitch.

I leaned in, that ache returning between my thighs.

He took a step closer, my legs instinctively parting for him.

My breathing quickened, heart pounded as he leaned in, his lips brushing my ear.

“You have no idea how badly I want you.”

“Then take me,” I whispered back.

He slowly lifted his fingers to the seam of my leggings, gently brushing my core. My breath caught, his touch starting a fire between my legs.

“Damn, look how soaked you are.”

“Sebastian, please.” I could feel my breath getting heavier, my body desperate for his touch.

“There’s a good girl.”

I leaned back as he slid his hand under my waistband, his fingers gliding directly to my clit.

I let out a moan, and his free hand covered my mouth. “Be quiet.”

I nodded, and he pushed two fingers in, causing my body to arch into his touch and whimpers to escape my mouth.

He quickened his movements, his thumb massaging my clit, and my hips started rolling to meet him. My body was on fire, my heart racing. I was ready to explode.

“Fuck those fingers for me,” he whispered in my ear.

“Aria! Come on, girl!” Serfina interrupted from the living room.

Sebastian withdrew his fingers, and I whimpered against his hand, my body aching, begging for release.

“That’s a shame.” He brought his fingers to his mouth, licking them clean. “Fuck, Nyx. You taste so good. Shall we go back in?” He threw his smile at me, forcing the heat to my cheeks. Then he turned around, grabbed two glasses, and left.
