Sebastian

“You fucking what?” I said to Logan on the phone as I spun the car around, not giving a shit who was beeping at me.

“With the help of Callum, we’ve confirmed it was Dante who planned the accident. He and a few of his guys are currently at a private club in the West End.”

“I’ll fucking kill him. Send me the location. Get the guys ready and meet me there.”

I cut the call.

My fucking father. He didn’t deserve that title anymore. All I ever wanted was for him to love me. Accept me as his son. I did everything he asked of me just to try to make him proud. But he never showed me any sort of kindness. Nothing was ever good enough, no matter what I did.

That asshole broke me every day with his fists and his cruel words that burned deep into my soul, leaving their scars.

He’d killed my mother because she’d wanted to take me away from him.

All he could see was his name attached to me. A name that meant more to him than anything else.

I sped through the traffic, and it wasn’t long before I pulled up over the road at the meet point.

I took my Glock from the glove compartment and stepped out of the car, joining Logan, Kai and Rhys, who were already kitted up.

“Zane and Harry?”

“Watching the warehouse, as you ordered.” Logan hesitated. “Are you sure you want to do this now?”

“I’m going to kill him.”

My chest was heavy, my body tense as rage filled my veins.

Who the fuck did Dante think he was?

He’d fucking hurt Hayden, and I was going to put a bullet straight through him for it.

“Sebastian.” Logan grabbed my arm, and my eyes flicked down to it, then up to meet his eyes.

He looked at me for a second and then released his grip, and I stormed over to the club. The bouncer didn’t get a chance as I swung for him, knocking him clean out.

I pushed the door open forcefully and made my way through, the music getting louder as I reached the main entrance. Logan and the guys weren’t far behind as I burst through, held my Glock in the air, and shot a few warning rounds.

The strippers screamed, scrambling off the stage. People in booths nervously turned to face me, their eyes darting everywhere as the music cut out.

Within seconds, three men jumped from their seats, weapons pointing at us.

Dante sat there, unfazed by my presence. A stripper was still sitting on his lap, blocking my view of a good shot.

“Well, if it isn’t the man himself. Sebastian Knight. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

“You orchestrated the car accident that nearly killed my best fucking friend,” I hissed.

“Did you think you could just walk back into this world and own the place? You do remember what you did to me, to my family last year, don’t you? You killed my brothers. My cousin. You really thought I was just going to forget about it?”

I tightened my grip on the Glock, racking the slide as my eyes burned into him, ready to put a bullet in his head once this fucking woman got out of the way.

“She’s pretty, isn’t she?” Dante said, stoking the girl’s long blonde hair as the mascara from her eyes ran down her cheeks with her tears. “It’s a shame her eyes aren’t grey.”

The world narrowed in on me. “What the fuck did you just say?” I roared.

“It’s funny, really. I never thought a man with your reputation would … settle down. It creates such an easy target.”

“Don’t you think about touching her. I’ll fucking kill you.”

“Not today.”

Dante threw the stripper into me and ran towards the back exit as guns started firing. People screamed, fleeing in all directions to get out of the building. I pushed past them, trying to catch up to Dante.

I bolted through the corridor and slammed the door open. A car started, speeding off as I shot my Glock at it, but it was too far ahead to make any real damage.

I let out a roar and smashed my fist against the wall, my knuckles pulsing as my veins pumped that burning fury around my body.

That piece of shit got away.

I stalked my way back into the building, which was now nearly empty. Two of Dante’s men lay dead on the floor. One was still alive, on his knees with Logan’s gun pointed at his head, ready for me to do what I wanted with him.

I grabbed him by the collar, smashing my fist straight into his face.

Blood poured from his nose as I kicked him down to the floor.

I stomped on his face, and the crack of his jaw echoed through the space.

I raised my foot and slammed it down harder, blood spattering everywhere and a couple of teeth falling onto the floor.

Again, I raised my foot, this time carving his face in half as parts of his skin and hair came off, stuck to my shoe.

“Fucking piece of shit.”

I wiped the sole over his body to try and clean that fucker off.

I turned to find Kai and Rhys’s eyes were on me. It had been a while since they’d seen the real Sebastian. This dark version of me, anyway.

And he wasn’t going back in his cage.

He’d been let out for good.

“Someone find out where the FUCK Dante is!” I roared.
