I’ve Got You #3

"It's not so far off from our imaginations after all," Aaryn told her, shifting uncomfortably on the blankets. "Are you up for this?" Aaryn asked.

Thea glanced over her shoulder as if Aaryn might be speaking to someone else. "Me?"

Aaryn nodded, biting down on a smile, bare in Thea's bed with her damp hair all spread out, looking up at her like that—

"The others said it could last a few days."

"Oh no," Thea drawled, and lowered herself above Aaryn. "Forced to slake my lover's need day in and day out," she murmured against Aaryn's lips. "Harvest too bountiful," she continued, dragging kisses down Aaryn's jaw, her throat, and burying her face between her breasts. "Moon too bright."

Her chest bounced with a laugh beneath Thea, and she tucked a smile into her skin before peering up at her.

"Okay, okay, I get it," she said, and pushed Thea's hair back out of her face, hand brushing past her horns. "However—Thea, there's so much that needs to be done—"

"Someone else will take care of it. But who will take care of you, hm?" She reached out and tilted Aaryn's head up, dancing her fingertips along her jaw. "No one but me. Focus on the magic." Surprise writ across Aaryn’s face like a lazily composed poem, and Thea interrupted the stanza with a kiss.

It began a bit rushed, a distraction, but when they parted and shared a breath, she couldn't leave it there. Thea leaned back in and Aaryn welcomed her, melting into the mattress as Thea sank into her, a thigh sliding between her legs.

Aaryn's mouth opened and Thea accepted the invitation with her lips. Her heart pounded in her chest and all she could focus on was the thumping in her ears and the feel of Aaryn's fingers wrapping around her left hip, dragging her closer, as if there was any closer they could get.

Once breath became a necessity and not a luxury, Thea pulled away, drawing herself down Aaryn’s body, mapping her in kisses.

Aaryn whined as the magic swelled again, her skin heating, arousal pooling and dripping between her thighs as she parted them.

It was sweet on Thea's tongue as she tasted it, as she lapped it straight from the source.

She coaxed it forth with her fingers tucked inside Aaryn and felt her squeeze around them again and again before she would eventually stiffen and cry out, and the release would bring it all on anew and Aaryn would ask for more.

More touch and more taste and more fingers and—

"Faster," she demanded, and Thea bit at her thigh, adding to the constellation of marks she'd already left on her skin, and thrust faster into Aaryn, fingers crooking until the magic burst and dissolved into Aaryn once again.

Thea saw to Aaryn first and foremost until her wrists were twinging and her jaw was sore. What the Awakening demanded, Thea would give.

Her own pleasure was drawing in, pulled taut beneath the messy perfection of Aaryn above Thea, hair sliding down her back. Aaryn moaned and drew herself across Thea's tongue in a stuttered cant.

Thea parted her obscenely with both hands, reddened and weeping arousal, before urging her hips back into motion across her flattened tongue.

Aaryn went limp as it drew too near, efforts growing weak and desperate for her own release as she pressed her palm to Thea, slipping her fingers inside to give Thea a surface to grind against as she chased her own release.

It coiled tighter in time with Aaryn's, her magic too great of a pull to resist as it cinched tight.

Aaryn cried out, riding the waves on Thea's tongue and fingers, pulling Thea into the abyss with her.

Lucidity came and went with Aaryn, the Hoard burning so hot within her she refused anything but touch and friction and release.

In between those moments, Thea would encourage her to drink water and eat her share of fruits and breads and whatever protein was left for them at the door.

Other moments she was so taken with the fever, barely coherent and burning up until worry struck Thea.

Then it was familiar, cold cloths held to a sweaty brow until Aaryn was in a lull long enough to ask for what she needed.

Thea was on her knees by the bed, head pillowed on her arms as she blinked drowsily at Aaryn, who was deep in sleep. It was good for her, no matter how restless it looked.

She was on her side, facing the edge of the bed. Every so often her thighs scissored or her head turned, hair getting tangled until Thea had to brush it out of the way.

"Saved her," Aaryn muttered, brows furrowing.

Thea leaned closer, breath held as she listened closer. "Hm? Aaryn?"

"—sorry. So sorry. 'Rissa. Had to choose."

Thea's heart raced. Who had Aaryn chosen? When?

"Choose who?"

Aaryn jolted, blinking into the darkness—the day was gone already, approaching late into the night.

Her eyes adjusted with her quick blinks, focusing on Thea. "There you are," she said softly, a sigh, before she collapsed back down, cheek squishing adorably onto the back of her hand.

"You're okay," Thea cooed to her, more for her own sanity than anything else. "I've got you."

"I know," she said, already slipping back under. "I've got you too."
