My Forever Girl – by Theresa Lambe #3
The plastic album landed open with two photos staring at me.
My eyes couldn’t help but wander over the people in the pictures.
One image showed a younger Mrs. Wyatt with the same white hair sitting on a blue floral couch and beaming with pride at the young boy in front of her.
The scrawny kid, looked to be about ten or eleven, held a guitar that appeared to be just as big as him.
His smile was just as big as Mrs. Wyatt’s.
But something about that grin seemed familiar. And the pure joy in his dark eyes.
The second photo was a polaroid of Mrs. Wyatt and the kid with the guitar standing side by side and beaming at the camera. The words “Mimi but my mind doesn’t take a break from the thoughts and ideas. It’s a little crazy and cramped in there.
