Chapter 12

Chapter Twelve

Tornado

I never want to let her go. -Tornado

She’s been quiet since we left the bar. Maybe it was too much for her.

Damn it, I shouldn’t have made her sing. I should have led us to a quiet corner and not pushed her so hard. She seemed like she was having fun though. I thought…well, it felt like old times. Her smile was wide and free, until suddenly it wasn’t.

She stares blankly at the television. We’re watching an old game show, one of her favorites, and she hasn’t said a damn thing yet. Usually by this time, she’s yelling and cursing at the tv.

What the hell did I do?

I stroke her cheek and she turns to look at me. There’s sadness and anxiety in those pretty blue eyes of hers again. “Kitty Cat, you’re scaring me. What’s going on in that head of yours? Is it something I did?”

She shakes her head. “No, you haven’t done anything.”

I stroke her cheek again and she leans into my hand. “What is it, then? I’ll help any way I can.”

She sighs, long and hard. “He’s still waiting for me out there.

And he’s still getting away with everything.

Who knows who else he’s killed since I left?

That building inspector wasn’t a bad guy.

He just made the classic mistake of ticking my father off.

He didn’t want to lie for him. He was trying to do the right thing and he got killed for it. ”

“I know, princess. But Silver will come up with something to do if they come after you. And even though I don’t want to think about it, we know he will.”

She stands up, shaking her hands out. “What the hell am I going to do though, Tor? Wait around for him? Wait for him to come here and try to get me? Cause we know he will. No matter how many people try to protect me, he’s that powerful.

He’s never going to let me go.” Her voice raises a few octaves as she continues.

“I can’t just sit here. It’s time to do something. ”

I stand and grip her upper arms. “You have to wait. I’m not sending you out into the unknown to face him.”

She places her hands on my chest. “We have to do something, Tor. This has gone on long enough. I just want to be happy with you. I want to start my life with you without this hanging over our heads.”

I let out a long sigh and wrap her in my arms. “We’ll go to Silver again. We’ll see what has been done and what we can do.” I pull back and look down at her, feeling panic at the thought of her being in a dangerous situation.

“I can’t risk you though, Cat. I lost you once and I won’t do it again. I can’t. You’re the other half of me.” There’s a lump in my throat as I think of all the time we’ve missed together and how it would kill me to lose her again.

This time, she places a calming hand on my cheek. “I’m not going anywhere, Tor. And we’re not going to lose each other again. No matter what happens, my future is here, with you.”

I give her a desperate kiss, one that tries to convey exactly how much I need her, how much I’ll always need her. She responds, her tongue meeting mine with equal desperation.

Clothes fly in a frenzy, and I lay her down on the couch.

In the background, the game show still drones on, and the audience laughs, but I couldn’t care less.

All that matters is right here beneath me, this woman, this incredible, beautiful woman.

Her blonde hair is spread out on the cushion, and she looks up at me with heat in her blue eyes.

There’s no foreplay, no time to take the time with her body I probably should. I need her now. I need to know she’s right here with me, forever. I enter her swiftly, feeling her sweet pussy envelop me. She’s so wet, as always, for me.

“Please, Tor, harder, more,” she chants over and over again.

I slam into her, holding nothing back. She cries out in response, but digs her fingernails into my ass, urging me to keep going. She’s frantic for me and I feel the same way.

“Fuck, baby, so good. It’s so fuckin’ good.” I feel her falling apart beneath me. When she finally does let go, her screams echo through the room. I let out my own shout and my release hits me hard. I bow my head as I come and come, emptying myself inside of her.

“I’m never letting you go, Cat. Never. We’ll do what we have to do, but you’re mine forever. And I’ll kill anyone who tries to take you away.” I make the vow, holding her in my arms. And I mean it. Anyone who tries to take my girl will die. Painfully.
