Chapter Eight Trill #3

Them niggas want our spot but we ain’t giving up shit. Territory, money, none of it. This our motherfuckin city. Whether they like that shit or not. The way I see it, they can lay down or get put the fuck down. I’m with either option.

That’s why I hate to beef with motherfuckers. When I get riled up like this, shit can get real deadly. Fucking with that one nerve of mine, will have your momma picking up your remains off her doorstep. I never been the nigga to give a fuck, if it comes down to it.

“Why the fuck are you staring me down like I’m a bitch or something nigga? I’m sick of your bitch ass!”, Savage said in an agitated voice.

A smile crept across my face. It wasn’t one because I was amused.

The smile came from me being intrigued. The thing is this nigga thinks he can intimidate me with his loud talking and shit.

That shit doesn’t faze me. For years, these niggas been at my boy’s head.

I let them handle that shit and I pick it up on the back end.

Today though, them motherfuckers are going to feel my wrath.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again. I’m not one for the long talking. I ain’t in the business to tongue wrestle with no nigga.

“Bitch ass nigga!”, was all I could get out.

The adrenaline that I was feeling went right to my trigger finger.

I reached in the front of my pants and grabbed my Glock.

As soon as I had it in my grasp and my finger reached that trigger, I started busting shots in Savage’s direction.

Right about now, I could give a fuck about the rest of them niggas.

The only thing I gave a fuck about was showing this nigga I’m nothing to play with.

I walked to the nigga head on, still sending bullets his way. I didn’t give a damn if me or this nigga go right now. I’m going to show this nigga who’s the pussiest out of me and him. It for damn sure ain’t me.

Once he realized what was going on he began to shoot back.

All the while he was ducking and dodging.

I wasn’t dodging shit. I was prepared to meet my maker.

If I had to be buried right now alongside my pops, it is what it fuckin is.

As long as that nigga is coming with me. That’s the only way I am going.

Everything else around me initially became a fuzz. It took some time for me to snap out of the zone that I was in. When I did, I realized that everything had gone haywire. Grit was trying to get his woman to safety with his gun in his hand. My boys were sending shots at ACE.

One bullet I shot, landed directly in Savage’s shoulder. I felt accomplished because a hit my target. I wasn’t done though. It was like all the resentment that I was feeling towards Gio, was being released every time I pulled the trigger.

In a crazy ass way, that shit made me feel better. It was like my mind conditioned me in this moment to feel like I was invincible or some shit. I couldn’t stop pulling the trigger if I wanted to. The shit was giving me a crazy ass rush right now.

I should have cared about the innocent bystanders, but I didn’t.

I should have cared that not long ago I just saw my father for the first time.

Or the fact that I am trying to establish a relationship with a nigga that I just learned to be my uncle.

In this moment, the only thing that was on my mind was showing a motherfucker who Trill really is. Fuck that Tavian Carter shit.

Showing a motherfucker just why the streets gave me the nickname. I have never been the one to fuck around. I sent another shot that landed in Cross’s chest. It wasn’t until then that I saw Ice pistol whipping the fuck out of Dre.

The way I see it, the nigga deserves the shit after that pussy ass shit, he pulled at Platinum. Mazi, Nico, and Jace was letting off rounds. People scattered from every direction. Trying their best to take cover.

Might be a fucked up ass way to send my pops home but it was what it was. Had he taken the time to get to know Tavian, there probably would’ve never been a Trill. In a way, he is to blame for the person that I turned into. I try; I really do to be civilized as much as the streets will allow me.

I guess ACE grew tired of the war that I had created. They were scattering to their cars to get away. I watched them niggas make their way to their cars. That still didn’t stop me from shooting at their asses.

“Trill!!!”, I heard a voice call out loudly.

It was Grit. Only this time, he was alone.

“Get your ass from out here before them people show up!”

I was stuck. It was like I couldn’t move. I was completely zoned the fuck out. Tears welled up in my eyes. The moment I stopped shooting; it’s like every emotion that I was trying to keep at bay rushed me. The shit hit me like a o-lineman on a forty-yard dash.

Mazi shook my body violently in an effort to bring me back to reality.

“Y’all get him out of here man. I don’t want y’all here when the police make it. I’ll work the shit out with them. Y’all just get the fuck out of dodge and lay low until y’all hear from me”

“Alright G, I got you”, Mazi replied.

I was trying my best to come down from this shit I was feeling. I wasn’t in the mood to talk. Instead, I followed Mazi and the rest of the crew as we sped walked to our vehicles. Mazi took my gun from me and tucked it in his waistline.

Luckily, he retrieved my keys from my pockets. I was in no condition to drive. I was hurt, pissed, agitated, everything you could think of. This time Ice rode back with us. As we drove down the paved ride, it felt like we were in a scene from one of the Fast and the Furious movies.

Mazi really showed us what this 392 could do. He was driving the fuck out of this car. The road to get to the venue was a one way in, one way out type of situation. Once we were out of that shit, he began to take backroads to go undetected and get us to safety.

Right now, I didn’t have to think. That’s what I have him and the rest of the boys for. It’s not common for me to get like this at all. I’m normally the one that is the most levelheaded. Aside from Mazi and Nico. Shit, right now, it’s like I was having a damn out of body experience.

“Man, that shit was fucking crazy man!!! Whew!”, Ice yelled out.

Clearly the adrenaline was rushing his veins just as much as mine were.

Ice used to live for this crazy ass shit.

He knows just how Trill shit can get. It has been many years since anybody has had to experience this shit.

I tried to be different. I made a vow to myself when Ice got locked up, that I would do my best to try to do shit different.

I would try my best to not use violence as a solution. With these niggas though, it’s like that’s the only shit they can understand. Sometimes you just have to meet a motherfucker where they at. That’s exactly what I did today. Even though I knew today wasn’t the day for that shit.
