Custom-built wooden prey dummy (schematics attached as supplementary material)
NOTES: Scientist B painstakingly built a quadrupedal wooden structure about the size of a deer. The structure was designed with a latched compartment so that repeated pouncing would eventually trigger a mechanism to open the door and make treats accessible.
NOTES: Scientist B was comically upset that his prey model was destroyed by a baby owl-bear when it was designed to be destroyed by a baby owl-bear?
ADDENDUM TO THE NOTES: When you design and build something that carefully and then have it go up in smoke immediately, we’ll see how funny you find it. Let the record show Scientist A laughed very, very, VERY hard at Scientist B’s understandable disappointment.
Okay, no, I was not laughing at YOU, I was laughing at the face you made, because it was just so sad and cute and shocked and of course the baby owl-bear was going to burst through wood?
