67. Julian #2

As the elevator shot upwards, the city skyline began to unfold beneath us through the glass wall.

I stood slightly behind her ignoring the multimillion dollar view.

I was captivated by her. I watched the way her eyes widened in awe, the way she took in the world with such bright, untainted wonder.

Even after everything she had been through, even after the terror of the stalker she thought she was running from, she still looked at the world like it was a place full of light and love, not a dark, terrifying pit of pain and suffering.

I would do anything to keep that light in her eyes.

The elevator chimed softly, slowing to a halt on the top floor.

The doors parted to reveal a quiet, immaculate hallway.

An older, impeccably well dressed couple were walking towards the opposite wing.

They offered a polite, wealthy smile, and I returned a brief greeting as I guided Sage down the hall to the reinforced double doors at the end.

I slid the magnetic keycard into the slot. The lock clicked, the heavy deadbolts disengaging seamlessly.

Before I pushed the door open, I stepped behind her and gently placed my large, warm hands over both of her eyes.

“Hey! What are you doing?” she laughed, her hands instinctively coming up to grasp my wrists.

“No peeking,” I whispered into her ear, sending a visible shiver down her spine as I planted kisses over her sensitive skin. “Trust me.”

I used my foot to push the heavy door wide open, and with my hands still firmly covering her vision, I slowly guided her over the threshold into our new life.

I stepped in and slowly pulled my hands away from her.

Sage blinked, her eyes adjusting to the bright, natural light flooding the massive space. For three full seconds, the only sound in the room was the soft, rhythmic crash of the ocean waves echoing through the slightly open balcony door.

And then, she lost her mind.

A breathless, delighted squeal ripped from her throat.

She darted forwards abandoning her bag by the door and ran into the middle of the sunken living room.

She spun around, her hands trailing over the back of a curved, vintage lounge, taking in the rich textures, the built in walnut record player, and the sprawling, unobstructed view of the Ocean stretching across the far wall.

“Oh my god!” she gasped, pressing her hands to her cheeks as she turned back to look at me, her eyes mesmerised by the view. “Julian, I’m lost for words. It’s breathtaking. How did you even find a place like this? I didn’t even know something like this existed here.”

I leaned my shoulder against the doorframe, slipping my hands into the pockets of my jeans.

“Leave all the worrying to me, pretty girl,” I reassured.

“Just enjoy it. It’s ours for the next six months, at least. Then we can stay, or find somewhere else entirely.

It’s up to you. I just want to make you happy. ”

She walked back up the short set of stairs from the sunken living room, closing the distance between us. She stopped right in front of me, tilting her head up, her eyes locking onto mine.

“Well,” she whispered, her hands coming up to grip my jacket. “We need to come up with a new word. Because happy doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

She surged up on her tiptoes, pressing her mouth fiercely to mine.

We had barely been able to keep our hands off each other since the mountain, with the heavy, crackling tension of our newly forged bond acting as a constant, burning live wire between us.

I let out a dark, feral groan, dropping my hands to her waist, but as she tried to deepen the kiss, I gently pulled back just an inch.

"Wait," I murmured against her lips, a wicked, low smirk tugging at my mouth. "I haven’t even shown you the best part yet."

Before she could question me, I wrapped my hand securely around her wrist and pulled her through the massive glass sliding doors, leading her out onto the private balcony.

The outside air hit us, warm and thick, but it was the view that made her completely freeze.

The sky was an absolute masterpiece—a beautiful explosion of bleeding pinks and oranges that reflected off the endless horizon of the ocean below.

She opened her mouth to say something, completely awed, but I didn't give her the chance.

In one fluid motion, I spun her around and hauled her up off the floor. Sage gasped and moaned, instinctively wrapping her legs around my waist to anchor herself as I backed her straight into the stone railing.

My hands moved with a feral urgency, tearing at her clothes until I shoved her jeans and panties down her thighs, exposing her bare, searingly hot skin to the fading twilight. She was already slick, panting heavily as her fingernails bit deep into my shoulders, desperate to be filled.

When I drove inside her, pinning her against that cold stone with the heavy force of my hips, she threw her head back, about to let out a loud, beautiful cry that would echo across the coastline—

Click.

The distinct sound of a sliding door opening directly above us cut through the air. Footsteps shuffled out onto the upper balcony, followed by the low, casual murmur of our neighbours talking to each other, only a single level above where we stood.

Sage's eyes blew wide with panic. She choked on her own breath, frantically trying to swallow the loud scream of pleasure building in her throat.

"Shh," I commanded, my voice dropping.

I didn't stop moving. I kept a punishing pace going, deliberately driving into her in a way that made it impossible for her to stay quiet on her own.

With my free hand, I reached down, snatched the discarded lace panties from around her ankles, and bunched the silk up in my fist. Before she could protest, I stuffed the fabric directly into her mouth, muffling her cries.

"Keep it down," I whispered, leaning into her ear so my hot breath grazed her face, my hips never missing a beat. "The neighbours don't need to know what you sound like when you're coming on my cock."

Sage let out a choked whimper against the makeshift gag, her face flushing a deep, beautiful red as the illicit display and danger of the moment hit her.

She gripped my shoulders for dear life, her chest heaving as she tried desperately to hold in the muffled whimpers and frantic moans rattling in her throat.

Every single thrust was a torturous test of her restraint, her internal muscles clamping down around me like a noose as she fought to stay completely silent in the dark.

I wanted more from her. I wanted her completely undone, vibrating on the edge of ruin beneath the open sky.

Without breaking the rhythm of my hips, I reached up and pulled the bunched-up lace panties out of her mouth. Before she could let out the scream begging to be let free, I forced my thumb and forefinger deeply into her mouth, catching her tongue.

"Suck it,"

Her dark eyes blew wide, glazed with gratification as her lips closed around my fingers, her frantic, muffled wet sounds swallowing the noise of the neighbours above.

Holding her captive under my gaze, I slid my free hand down between our bodies, past the drenched heat of her pussy, and carefully slipped a single finger into her tight, twitching ass.

Sage went completely rigid against the stone railing, her internal muscles clenching around my cock with a suffocating grip that nearly had me blacking out.

Her eyes rolled back into her head, her body trembling as the dual penetration and the brazenness of what I was doing completely shattered her composure.

When she finally crashed over the edge, unable to hold back anymore, her entire body spasming helplessly around my finger and my length, the intense, pulsing of her orgasm sucked me right over the edge with her.

I buried my face into the crook of her neck, my deep, guttural groan vibrating against our skin as I poured into her—filling her and thoroughly christening the penthouse before she had even seen the whole thing.

For a moment, the only sound on the balcony was the distant crash of the ocean waves below and our uneven, overlapping breaths.

I slowly withdrew my finger, keeping her pinned tightly against the stone railing as my forehead rested heavily against hers, unwilling to let her go. Her legs were still wrapped tight around my waist, her chest heaving against mine in the night air.

As the haze of euphoria finally began to clear from my brain, the reality of our surroundings snapped back into focus.

I tilted my head up slightly, my gaze shifting towards the upper deck. The low, casual murmuring from before had completely vanished. There were no footsteps, no moving chairs—just the looming silence radiating from the balcony directly above us.

Sage blinked, her dazed eyes following my gaze. I watched the moment the realisation hit her, the flush on her cheeks deepening from a post-orgasmic glow into embarrassment and mild horror. We had completely forgotten about them.

"Well," she whispered breathlessly, her voice still raspy as she rested her forehead against my shoulder. "Judging by the lack of movement up there... they definitely heard us."

"Most likely."

She let out a soft, defeated laugh, her fingers lightly tapping my chest. "I think we'll be avoiding the neighbours for a while."

"Agreed," I murmured, as I carefully gathered her clothes to guide her back inside. "But it was worth every single sound."

I couldn’t help the deeply satisfied smile that spread across my face as I pressed a soft kiss to the tip of her nose.

“So,” I joked, “would you like to see the rest of the apartment now?”
