CHAPTER ONE
Aiden stretched his legs out in front of him and dug his heels into the warm sand. The sun hung low over the horizon, casting ribbons of gold across the water as waves rolled lazily onto the shore.
Miami had given them plenty of beautiful sunsets over the past year, but somehow he never got tired of them. Maybe it was because every one of them felt like something he’d nearly lost the chance to see.
