Chapter 21 – Blake ~ 1989
A few weeks after Multnomah Falls
I just got back home from dropping Lana off at her house after another spectacular date. Nothing could ever top Multnomah Falls. I took her to Carousel, one of my favorite restaurants for burgers, and milkshakes. It also has a koi pond, which Lana loved.
I place my keys in the little trinket dish, next to the front door. “Blake, honey, is that you?” My mother, Amelia asks. I roll my eyes, shrug my jacket off and hang it up on the coat hanger, behind the front door.
Who else would it be? Not Liam. He moved away to Iowa to go to college. Mother’s golden boy. Her firstborn, who can do no wrong in her eyes. “Yes mom, it’s me.” I walk into the living room. She’s sitting on the couch, drinking a glass of wine.
“You had me worried sick. It’s after ten, Blake.” I take my shoes off. “I’m not a teenager anymore.” I pick up my shoes and put them on the shoe rack. “It doesn’t matter. You’re my son and I expect you to be home at a reasonable hour.”
“You didn’t seem to care when Liam still lived here. He practically got to do whatever he wanted.” I walk up to the fridge to grab a water bottle. I barely get turned around when my mother slaps me in the face. “Don’t you EVER talk to me like that again.”
I rub my cheek. She retreats back to her seat in the living room. I take my water bottle and go up to my room. To take out my anger I start throwing objects around.
My mom irritates the absolute shit out of me. Why does she hold me to a different standard than Liam? Why did Liam get away with so much shit? I can’t even breathe in my mom’s direction without being berated for it.
I’m not sticking around for this. I need to find my own place soon. I go back downstairs. She’s still drinking her wine when I make it back down. I don’t say anything as I grab my shoes, put them on, and I walk towards the door.
“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?” I stop dead in my tracks but grab my keys. “None of your goddamn business, mom. I am a grown ass adult. I’m twenty.” I clench my fists. “If you leave, don’t bother coming back tonight.”
I nod my head in understanding. Then I walk out that door. I go out to my car and before I know it I’m on my way to Lana’s.
I make it to Lana’s house in record time. It was like my body was on autopilot. I walk up to her door. Do I knock? Do I ring the doorbell? I run my fingers through my hair. What am I doing? Lana isn’t my girlfriend. She’s a secret. MY secret.
I start to pace, at war with myself when I decide to just knock and hope for the best. I wait. Just when I think she might not be home, I turn to leave when the door opens. I turn around and take a good look at her.
She’s in cute purple satin pajamas, a satin spaghetti strap tank top and satin shorts. She’s got her hair pulled up in a ponytail. “Ellis? What are you doing here?” She asks. “Family stuff. It’s not important. Can I come in?” She leans her hip against the door frame and looks me up and down.
“That could be arranged.” She walks further into her house leaving the door open for me. I shut the door behind us, and I follow her in. She sits down on her couch and pulls a blanket over her. I sit down next to her.
“Do you want to talk about it?” She lays her head on my shoulder. I shake my head and put my hand on her thigh. “No, I’m good.” We sit there for a while just enjoying each other’s company. She ends up falling asleep on me.
I try not to move her too much. I scoot to the right gently, Lana lays down on the couch. I get up and stand in front of her, I scoop her into my arms. I take her into her bedroom.
I lay her down in her bed and I cover her up. I take my clothes off and climb into bed next to her. I pull her into my chest and I kiss the top of her head. I won’t ever take her for granted. Secret or no secret. I feel the darkness pull me under in no time at all.
The sun shines into the bedroom, waking me up. I open my eyes and look around. Lana is curled up on my side, head on my chest, leg thrown over mine. I smile. I never thought I would wake up in bed with Lana Voss.
I try to get up. She stirs and opens her eyes. “Blake?” I brush a strand of hair out of her face. “Good morning, Voss.” She looks up at me with a smile on her face. She kisses me.
I kiss her back and then she pulls back. “Are you hungry?” I ask. I rub her arm. She nods. “I’ll go get us some breakfast.” I kiss her forehead and I get up. She rolls onto her belly and lays her head on her arms.
I pull my jeans on. She wiggles her butt. “You better watch yourself. Wiggling your ass like that, will give me the wrong idea.” I pull my t-shirt over my head. “Is it wrong if it feels so right?” She looks at me with a mischievous grin on her face.
I smile back. “Don’t tempt me, Voss. I have to be good and get us breakfast.” She mock pouts. I chuckle. “I’ll be back.” I grab my car keys off her dresser. She wiggles her ass again. I spank it. “Harder, Ellis.”
“Just for that, now, you really have to wait until I get back.” I wink at her and head out of her bedroom. “That’s not fair, Ellis!” I chuckle. I walk out of her front door and get in my car.
I make the drive to Fuller’s. I don’t know what Lana prefers so I just get us a fat stack of pancakes. I hope she enjoys it. I make my way back to her house. When I get there, I walk inside.
“Lana, I’m back.” I announce. She doesn’t respond. I get a little worried so I quickly sit down the pancakes. “Lana?” I walk around. Once I get down the hall, I hear the shower running. My heart stops beating so fast.
I start to calm down. I open the door to the bathroom. She’s in the shower washing her hair. I step in the steamy bathroom, and start taking my clothes off. Socks first, pants, boxers, and then my shirt last.
I gently open the clear shower door. I step in with her. She hears the door and turns her head. I capture her lips with my own and I hold her around the waist. She moans.
I push her against the shower wall. I place her hands on the shower wall. I kiss her passionately and then I pull back to kiss her shoulders and down her back. She gasps each time.
I spread her legs with my own and I spit on my hand to lube up my dick. And then I line myself up to her entrance and push in. She arches her back for me. Hot. I slip inside her and then I start kissing her neck.
I begin to pump in and out of her. She lets out a shaky breath as she tries to hold her moans in. I nip her ear. “Moan for me, baby. Don’t hold it in.”
Her pussy squeezes my dick in response. I moan right in her ear. She’s panting now. “Faster.” She urges. I go at a faster pace and once I do, I hit a specific spot and she’s moaning out. “Right there. Don’t stop, please.”
She’s struggling to stand upright. I grip her hips to stabilize her as I relentlessly pound into her. She lets out a strangled breath and I know she’s super close.
I wrap one of my arms around her waist and with my other hand I start to circle her clit. She loses it. She yells out my name. A beautiful sound as she falls apart for me. The sound takes me over the edge and I cum inside her.
I kiss her neck. “I brought you back some pancakes, baby.” She nods, out of breath. I don’t blame her. I pull out of her and we finish up in the shower.
I get out to grab her a towel. She sits down on the floor of the shower letting the water run over her. She looks like an angel. I can’t help but admire her. She’s becoming someone I want to be with.
I bring her back the towel. I place it on the toilet, next to the shower. I turn to leave but she grabs my hand. “Thank you.” She utters. “For what?” I ask.
“Just being you, Blake Ellis.” She lets go of my hand. I smile at her. I put my boxers back on and head into the kitchen to heat up the pancakes.
I wonder what she means by that. Everyone in the general vicinity, thinks I’m a major douchebag. To be fair, some of my actions kind of back that up.
But for her, I want to be a changed man. I just hope I’ll get to see it through. I hope she doesn’t leave. Only time will tell.
