She always carries the desire to build a better life, and one day she comes across an assistant job posting at Blackwood Company, which becomes a turning point for her.

Ethan Vance, the CEO of Blackwood, is highly disciplined, distant, and completely focused on his work. With his perfectionist mindset, he personally reviews incoming applications to select the right candidate. Hazel’s application ends up on his desk, creating their first indirect connection.

During the interview process, Hazel’s determination and her mix of vulnerability and strength begin to stand out, while Ethan’s cold and controlled world slowly starts to be unsettled by her presence.

Although their relationship initially appears strictly professional, over time a bond filled with tension, curiosity, and unspoken emotions begins to form.
