Chapter Five #3

His voice is tight, but he doesn't interrupt. He won't. This is Asher's moment.

And Asher takes it.

His breath hitches. His control frays. I feel it in the twitch of his hand in my hair. The slight tremble in his abdomen as he pushes in one last time, deep and still.

He holds my head gently, both cradling and claiming, as he releases into me with a low, drawn-out exhale that sounds like victory.

I swallow instinctively, still held in place, eyes fluttering shut. Every part of me shakes with the aftermath, my breath ragged, my body spent.

He withdraws slowly, watching my lips, brushing a finger across them.

"My good girl," he says. "Ours."

Kayden shifts beneath me, his patience burned out. He wraps his hands around my waist like a vice.

"My turn." His voice is feral.

And just like that, Asher steps back, Kayden's hips roll forward, and I'm swept into the fire again.

"Hold on," he murmurs darkly. "Because I'm not going to be gentle."

He thrusts up. Hard.

I cry out, half-pleasure, half-shock, as he spears into me fully, sheathing deep with no hesitation. The stretch, the angle send lightning through every nerve in my body. My arms shake as I struggle to keep upright, but Kayden doesn't let me fall.

He grips my hips tighter and starts to move, long, driving strokes that push me forward and back, using me like he's starving for the feel of me. I moan helplessly, head hanging between my shoulders, vision blurred by sensation.

"This is what you do to me," Kayden snarls, his voice thick, broken. "You lie. You run. You tear me apart. And still I want you like this. In every way. Always."

His pace sharpens, each thrust brutal, shaking my whole body. He's punishing me with pleasure, fucking the pain out of both of us.

I feel Asher's hand return, settling on the back of my neck. "Ease up a little, Kayden," he says, voice calm but not cold.

Kayden growls low, but obeys, easing the thrusts just enough to keep me from breaking.

"Good," Asher murmurs to both of us. His hand brushes down my spine, soothing the overstimulated nerves. "Now make her feel it. Not just your anger. Everything."

The change is subtle, but devastating. Kayden slows, but stays deep inside my stretched back entrance. Each movement now is deliberate, a rolling grind that presses me open and full, his cock dragging across every hypersensitive inch.

He leans up, sliding out, chest against my back, mouth at my shoulder.

"I love you too much, sunshine," he says quietly, like a confession and a curse. "So don't you ever—ever—do this shit again."

Then he slams back in, and my whole body arches. Pleasure builds so fast it steals my breath and my thoughts.

"You close?" he pants, moving faster, chasing both our edges.

"Y-Yes—" I whimper, my voice cracking.

His arm snakes around, settling between my legs. Fingers circle my clit, press into my pussy, while he fucks me from behind.

"Then come. Now."

And I do. I shatter with a scream, my orgasm pulsing like a firestorm through every inch of me.

Kayden jerks forward one last time and spills into me with a guttural moan, collapsing over my back, his breath shaking against my shoulder.

For a long moment, everything is still.

Three bodies. One knot of breath, sweat, and bruised emotion.

My muscles have turned to jelly, nerves sparking in aftershocks. I feel like I've been pulled apart and stitched back together—ragged, raw, but somehow more whole.

Kayden is still inside me, his breath hot against my skin. Asher's hand cradles the back of my neck. We're tangled in silence.

Kayden shifts slightly, and Asher speaks, low but firm.

"Careful now." His arm wraps around my waist, steadying me just as Kayden begins to pull out of my overstretched, aching back entrance.

I flinch with a low groan. There's no sharp pain, but the hypersensitivity makes every inch feel like too much.

When the thick head finally slips free, a tremor rips through me.

The sudden emptiness, the slick heat between my thighs, the overwhelming rush of everything we just did, all of it crashes into me like a wave. I sway, but Asher steadies me, and lifts me into his arms.

"You're shaking," he murmurs, brushing a kiss to my shoulder. "We need to get you cleaned up."

I rest my head against him as he carries me to the bathroom.

Kayden is already there, flipping on the light, his eyes tracking us.

Asher steps into the space, sets me down gently on the cool tile, and starts the water.

I melt in its warmth as it cascades over us, rinsing away the sweat, the salt, the bruises of what just happened.

Asher grabs the soap and works it into a lather between his palms. He runs it over my shoulders, down my back, careful and steady.

Kayden kneels in front of me, washing my thighs, the insides of them, with surprising gentleness. His gaze stays down, but his touch says everything—he's not sorry for the claim, only for the pain underneath it.

"I thought I broke you," he murmurs.

"You didn't."

Kayden's eyes lift. "I wanted to."

That's the Kayden truth, sharp and tangled in love that bruises.

We dry off in silence. My body aches in places I didn't even know could ache. But it's not a bad feeling.

Asher wraps a towel around me and pulls me into his arms.

"We should lie down with you. Hold you. You deserve that after…" he pauses, brushing my damp hair back. "After all of this. But we can't. The others are coming in minutes, not hours." He kisses my forehead. A soft apology. "I'm sorry. I know this isn't finished."

"I know," I whisper. "It's okay."

Kayden steps in and presses a kiss to my temple. "Guess that means we'll have to rinse, repeat, and do the whole thing all over again."

I laugh softly. "Or we could just do the cuddling part to save time."

Kayden grins, sharp and fond. "Doesn't work like that, sunshine. It's all or nothing with us. You know that."

I nod. Yeah. I do.

We dress quickly, our movements synced. The air between us is not filled with tension anymore.

We walk out of the room as a unit. Still aching and angry on some level, but together. Maybe not whole, but something close enough to step into a battle.

And that has to be enough. For now.
