Chapter 36 #3

He follows me over the edge. His hips stutter, his rhythm breaking, and then he’s coming inside me with a groan that rumbles through his chest into mine.

His knot starts to deflate inside me. He holds himself above me, breathing hard, and when his eyes find mine the tenderness in them is unmistakable.

“Bond with me,” I say.

His teeth find the opposite side of my neck from Elias's mark.

The bite is careful, but the sensation is no less intense—that same rush of warmth flooding through every cell, his scent blooming richer and deeper than ever before, weaving into the bond already formed with Elias until the two of them exist side by side in my senses, distinct but compatible.

When he releases my neck, he presses a soft, lingering kiss to the mark before settling beside me in the nest. I tip my head toward his neck and return the bonding mark, smiling when our bond forms fully. He gently pulls out of me before settling beside me in the nest.

My omega still isn’t satisfied.

The heat is burning hotter now, fed by two bonds but not quenched by them, and my body turns toward the third alpha almost of its own accord. Bash stands near the foot of the bed, and the look on his face when our eyes meet is something I’ve never seen from him before.

Raw. Hungry. Controlled by the thinnest possible margin.

“Bash,” I say.

His name comes out rough. My voice is wrecked, my body exhausted but still burning, and the sight of him still fully dressed, his jaw set, his eyes dark sends a fresh wave of want through me that makes my thighs clench.

He climbs onto the mattress and moves over me in one fluid motion, his body settling above mine with a weight that pins me to the blankets.

His hands find my wrists, pressing them into the mattress on either side of my head, and the dominance in the gesture is so specifically Bash that my omega surges toward him with a whimper.

“You’re exhausted,” he says. His voice is low, rough at the edges. “Let me take care of you.”

I nod. I can’t form words anymore. My body is trembling beneath him, oversensitive and still desperate, and when his mouth finds mine the kiss is nothing like the restraint of Elias or the warm playfulness of Adrian.

Bash kisses like he’s been holding back for weeks, his tongue sliding against mine with an intensity that makes me moan into his mouth.

He undresses quickly. His shirt comes off over his head, his pants shoved down his hips, and then he’s naked above me, his cock hard and pressing against my thigh. He reaches between us, guiding himself to my entrance, and the first push inside makes me come immediately.

His rhythm is fast, his hips driving into me with such force that every thrust draws another orgasm from me. His hands keep mine pinned, his weight holding me down, and the surrender of it—letting Bash take control when I have nothing left—unlocks something deep in my chest.

“Look at me,” he says.

I do. His blue eyes never leave mine and the intensity in them is overwhelming.

“You're so perfect,” he says simply.

I ‘m struck by the sincerity in his voice, I open my mouth to respond, but I'm interrupted by a moan as he thrusts deeper teasing me with his knot.

His mouth finds my neck, teeth scraping gently above my bond mark from Elias.

He rocks his lips into me and pushes his knot inside me, causing me to come so hard I almost pass out from the intensity.

“Bond me,” I whisper once I can think straight again.

His teeth find the junction of my neck and shoulder.

The bond locks into place with a rush of warmth that floods through me a third time, Bash’s spiced bergamot scent weaving into the cedar-amber of Adrian and the cool mineral of Elias until all three exist together in my senses, distinct but harmonious, a pack scent that belongs to me as much as it belongs to them.

He holds the bite for another moment, then releases my neck dropping his forehead drops to mine. His breathing is ragged and his hips are still moving inside me.

“I’ve got you,” he murmurs. “I’ve always got you.”

He comes inside me with a groan that I feel against my skin, his body trembling above mine, and when he flips our position in the nest so that I’m laying on top of him with his arm wrapped around my waist. He pulls me close against his chest, and I can feel his knot starting to deflate inside me.

The room is quiet.

My body is still burning. Heat simmers beneath my skin, not gone, not even close to gone—this is only the beginning. Not just because of my heat, but of the rest of my life.

This is home.

My omega curls contentedly beneath my skin, surrounded by her alphas scents, bonds that can never be broken, and three men who saw me before I knew how to see myself.

Elias’s hand finds mine across the blankets. Adrian’s fingers brush my ankle gently. Bash’s arm tightens around my waist, his breath warm against the top of my head.

I close my eyes.

The fear is still there, somewhere distant. The fear that my omega would ruin my life and take everything I built and replace it with something I never chose.

But it's smaller now, and I know without a doubt that I'm exactly where I was always meant to be.
