Chapter 14
fourteen
. . .
SIENNA
I woke with my cheek resting against Brock’s chest. His skin still carried the hazy warmth of sleep, and his heartbeat thumped slow and steady beneath my ear. His arm had curled around me during the night, anchoring me close.
For a few seconds, I lay there breathing him in, wrapped in the musky scent of last night.
Then I remembered my flight.
I glanced at the digital clock on the nightstand, its yellow numbers slicing through the darkness. Seven hours. That’s all I had left.
My stomach dropped. I needed to pack. I needed to find the right words to say goodbye, after the way he’d touched me, the things I’d said to him. But I couldn’t move. I pressed my face harder into his chest, desperate to hold onto this moment for just a little longer.
He stirred and pulled me closer, burying his face in the crook of my neck. A low, rough sound rumbled in his throat, sending a shiver down my spine.
“Mornin’,” he said, his voice gravelly from sleep.
His lips brushed over a sensitive spot below my ear, warm and slow. Every inch of his naked body pressed against mine, his cock growing thick and heavy against my thigh.
“I was trying not to wake you,” I said.
“Don’t give a damn.” He caught the hem of my tank top and gave it a tug. “Take this off. I wanna feel your skin on mine.”
I sat up just enough to bring it over my head and let it fall to the floor. His blue eyes traced down my body, lingering on every inch.
Yesterday's clean-shaven jaw had given way to dark stubble, the rough scrape of it catching the first rays of light. I drank him in: hair messy, sheets tangled around his hips, that sleepy, unguarded look on his face. Nothing like the polished rider from the arena.
His hand drifted across my bare stomach, the heat of his palm sinking into my skin, brushing slow, gentle circles.
“Wakin’ up with you like this?” he murmured. “Best thing that’s happened to me in years.”
I let out a shaky breath. He was rock-hard, burning and heavy against my thigh. His rough hand slid up and cupped my breast, and his thumb rubbed my nipple until it pebbled tight.
I reached down and wrapped my fingers around his cock. He twitched in my grip.
“Fuck, Sienna. Keep doing that.”
He kissed me deep, tongue sliding warm and slow against mine. His hand dipped between my legs. Two fingers pressed against my pussy, and when he felt how wet I was, a low groan vibrated from his chest straight into my mouth.
I didn’t answer with words. I just rocked against his hand and moaned when he pushed a finger inside me, curling it just right. I kept stroking him, pulling broken sounds from deep in his throat.
“How’s your shoulder?” I asked, voice shaky.
“Better than ever, ’specially when you’re this soft and wet against me.”
His lips trailed hot, open-mouthed kisses down my neck and across my collarbone.
“Spread your legs for me. Let me show you just how badly I want you.”
I opened for him without thinking. He slid a second finger inside, stretching me. I cried out, clutching the back of his neck as my hips bucked into his hand. He curled his fingers deep, stroking that perfect spot until my vision blurred at the edges.
Then a melody started playing.
Pleasure still fogged my brain. For a hazy second, I couldn’t even place the sound. It cut through everything, sharp and out of place while Brock’s fingers stayed buried deep inside me, stroking that perfect spot. Then it clicked: it was Avery’s ringtone.
I reached for it on instinct. Brock caught my wrist, grip firm and warm.
“Don’t answer it.”
“Brock, it’s my boss—”
He eased his fingers out of me with a slow, wet sound that pulled a sharp gasp from my throat. Then he reached over, grabbed the phone off the nightstand, and tossed it across the room. It landed on the carpet with a dull thud, cutting off the ringtone.
“Brock—”
“You spend every goddamn day letting them tell you what to do,” he said, voice low and rough. “Not right now. You’re on my time.”
He moved over me, settling heavy between my spread legs. His hand caught both my wrists and pinned them to the mattress above my head. He held them easily, firm but not rough. His chest pressed warm against mine, rising and falling fast.
“This okay?” he asked.
My heart pounded too loud to think. I was so wet it was almost embarrassing.
“Yes,” I breathed. “It’s okay.”
“Good. Because I’m gonna bury myself so deep in you, you’ll feel me the whole damn flight home.”
I imagined it: the stretch, the heavy weight of him, so deep I’d still feel him for days. My hips bucked on their own.
A low sound caught in his throat. He let go of my wrists just long enough to grab a condom from the nightstand, rip it open, and roll it on. Then he pinned me again, hands above my head, and lined himself up. He pushed in slow, letting me feel every thick inch as my body opened around him.
I gasped, back arching off the bed.
He dropped his forehead to mine and groaned. “Fuck… that’s it.”
He started moving in short, shallow thrusts, barely pulling out before sliding back in. Each stroke dragged right against the spot he’d already worked with his fingers, over and over, until I was moaning under him.
He slowed, staying buried deep. A thin strip of morning light slipped through the curtains and fell across my chest. His eyes followed it until he met my gaze.
“Don’t stop,” I begged. “Please.”
“Not going to. I’m gonna let your wrists go. Grab the headboard for me, Starlin’.”
I wrapped my fingers around the wooden slats. They were cool and solid under my palms. I pulled hard, stretching my arms, lifting my chest toward him.
He let out a low, appreciative rumble. “Now lift those hips for me, darlin’.”
That rough sound of his drawl did something to me.
I planted my feet and pushed up, lifting my ass off the bed. The new angle let him slide in so deep I gasped. His hands gripped my hips, thumbs digging into my soft skin.
He started thrusting hard. Every stroke punched a moan out of me while the headboard slammed against the wall.
“Fuck, that’s so good,” he groaned. “Keep them up for me.”
I kept one hand wrapped around the headboard and slid the other down my body to rub my clit. His rhythm broke.
“Jesus. Touching yourself while I’m buried inside you? Fuck, Sienna.”
“You feel incredible. I’m getting close.”
He drove in deeper. “Fuck yes. Make yourself come like this. You look so fucking hot.”
My fingers moved faster. The way he watched me, blue eyes locked like he couldn’t look away, sent me spiraling.
The orgasm crashed through me hard. My back arched off the bed as a broken cry tore from my throat.
My thighs shook around his waist as he groaned deep and slowed his thrusts, letting me ride every pulsing wave.
When I finally went limp, my hips sank back to the mattress. He followed me down, pressing me into the sheets, still buried deep. His warm, ragged breath brushed my ear.
I cupped his jaw, the rough stubble scraping against my palm.
“I want to make you come too,” I panted, hips rolling into him. “So just use me, Brock. Use me however you need.”
He froze. Inside me, his cock twitched, swelling even thicker.
“Fuck, Starlin’… You don’t know what you’re asking me to do.” He kissed me hard, hot and breathless. “But I’m gonna take it anyway. Every bit you’re giving me. While I still have you.”
I wrapped my legs around him and pulled him deeper, arms locked around his neck.
Then he let go of his control.
He drove into me, his thrusts knocking the air from my lungs. The headboard hit the wall in a steady rhythm. Every time I moaned, he seemed to lose a little more control, like my reactions only pulled him closer.
“Feel that?” he gritted out. “How deep I am? I want you to remember this later. Every time you sit down on that plane, I want you to feel me.”
“I do,” I moaned. “So don’t stop.”
He groaned, hips starting to stutter. "You feel too good. I can't—fuck, I don't want to stop."
I didn’t want him to stop either. Still aching, still incredibly sensitive, I lifted my hips to meet every thrust.
I wrapped my arms around him, careful of his left shoulder, my nails digging into the other. I wanted to leave marks.
His rhythm broke. He drove into me one last time and stayed there, pulsing deep inside as his body shuddered against mine. I pulled him closer, nails digging in, holding him through it.
Brock stayed buried in me for a long moment afterward, forehead pressed to mine while we both fought for breath.
He finally eased back, taking a moment to dispose of the condom. He rolled onto his back and pulled me on top of him, tucking my face against his chest, the same way I’d woken up. His heart hammered under my cheek, wild and fast.
I stared at the ceiling. My body was still buzzing, but my mind had already left the room.
Suitcase. Airport. Flight. The seconds were slipping away.
My throat tightened. His fingers found mine, laced together, and squeezed. I closed my eyes and pressed my face harder into his warm skin, breathing him in.
Eventually, his low voice broke the silence. “You okay?”
I nodded against his chest. “Yeah.”
He didn’t say anything else. He just kissed my forehead and tightened his arm around me.
Then my phone started ringing again, the sound muffled by the carpet. I sighed and reluctantly pulled away. Brock grumbled in protest, his hand sliding to my hip like he could keep me there, but he let it fall when I sat up.
My knees felt shaky as I climbed out of bed. My thighs were heavy, my body pleasantly sore. The cool air hit my bare skin, making me sharply aware of the wetness between my legs with every step.
I bent down and picked up the phone.
I cleared my throat, trying to sound normal. “Hello?”
“Sienna! Finally.” Avery’s crisp voice cut through the line. “Tell me you haven’t left for the airport yet.”
“No,” I said, rubbing my forehead. “I’m still at the hotel. What’s going on?”
“Have you not seen it yet? The numbers on that alley video are astronomical.”
My hand dropped to my bruise. “I know it went viral. His brother showed us last night. But we actually got hurt, and I was hoping to—”
“Terrifying, I’m sure. But the internet is losing its mind, and everyone’s trying to figure out who the girl he saved is. Outlaw’s CMO called me an hour ago. They’re thrilled.”
“They are?”
“The video is everywhere, and they want to capitalize on it. They want you to stay in Wyoming and make more content. If you keep this momentum going, you’ll be there until December if he makes the finals.”
I stopped breathing. When I glanced over my shoulder, Brock was propped up on his elbow, watching me, the sheet low on his hips.
“They want me to stay?”
“Yes, Sienna. Are you listening? You should be happy, so why do you sound like I just towed your car?”
My knees went weak. I wouldn’t have to get on that plane today. I wouldn’t have to say goodbye.
I swallowed hard. “No, that’s… incredible news. I just need a second to process how this changes things.”
“Okay, whatever that means.” She exhaled a sharp, impatient breath. “Just reply to my email by noon, and call me when you get your head on straight.”
She hung up.
I lowered the phone slowly and set it face-down on the desk. When I turned around, Brock was still watching me, blue eyes dark and unreadable. Morning light cut across his stomach, highlighting the hard lines of muscle.
I still couldn’t believe this wasn’t all a dream.
My heart hammered in my chest. Staying meant more rodeos. More time with him. The thought should have scared me, but it didn’t.
“I’m not leaving,” I said.
His eyes locked on mine, searching.
“They want to extend my contract. Avery just told me.”
I took a few steps toward the bed.
“It’s unprofessional. It’s a conflict of interest. And if I accept it…” I swallowed hard. “It won’t be because of the job. It’ll be because of you.”
For a second, he just stared at me. Then he let out a shaky breath, threw the sheet aside, and reached for me. His hand closed around my wrist and pulled.
I tumbled onto the mattress, barely able to gasp before he crushed me against his chest.
“Then stay. Fuck the contract, Sienna. Just stay.”
I closed my eyes and melted into him. His heart pounded against mine as his arms tightened, like he was afraid I’d change my mind.
