9. Aaron

CHAPTER 9

AARON

“ I crave the hunt. To chase. Take what I want, when I want—without care or mercy.” Dominik finally answers Selene.

His tone is as sharp as the edge of a blade, but Selene doesn’t flinch. Quite the opposite—she smiles at him.

Twisted little thing.

I don’t know why I’m surprised by Dom’s admission. I know he’s a primal player, but hearing him say it out loud solidifies it in my mind. That need is probably why he wanted to come here tonight—though I’d like to think part of it was because he was worried about me.

“Truth or dare, Selene.” Tristan’s voice drips with impatient hunger.

“Dare,” she replies, locking eyes with him as she slowly licks her perfect lips.

Tristan moves behind her, closing his eyes as he lowers his head to inhale her scent. Then, he grabs her jaw with firm possession, forcing her to look up at me.

“I want you to get on your knees. Take out his cock, and run the tip of your tongue up his shaft.”

What the…

Every thought imaginable floods my mind as Selene drops to her knees, her gaze locking onto mine. I could stop this, kneel down beside her and not let her continue but I don’t.

Instead, I watch as she unhooks my belt and strokes my already hard cock. I don’t even care that the other two are here, witnessing what’s about to happen. Right now, it’s just me and her. Selene frees my dick, running the pads of her fingers across it. The simple touch drives me fucking insane.

I grip her hair tightly, unable to hold back.

“Take your hands off her,” Tristan growls. The command slices through me, and for some reason, I obey, releasing her.

Leaning back, I grip the edge of the bar, my knuckles whitening as I watch her. Her tongue flicks against my cock at a torturously slow speed. My head tilts back as an involuntary groan escapes.

“God fucking dammit.”

When I lift my head again, her eyes hold mine. Her tongue swirls slowly over the head of my cock, tormenting me before she plants a kiss on it. Then, she stands and saunters back to Tristan.

“That’s a good girl,” he says, smug.

“Don’t call me that,” Selene replies with cold defiance.

“Feisty. Just the way I like my brats.”

Dominik’s mask tilts toward me as I hastily stuff myself back into my pants, the strain of my zipper biting into me.

I should have jerked off before coming here. Tonight is going to be a long one.

Dominik shifts in his seat, clearing his throat. “Truth or dare, Julian,” Selene says with a sly smile at Tristan.

“Dare.”

She picks up Tristan’s mask from the table and hands it to him. “I dare you to begin the game.”

If this is a team effort, it’s me and Dom against them. But I can feel it already—this will be a free-for-all. No alliances, just shared pleasure and pain. And whatever else these walls have in store.

Tristan takes his mask, tracing its edges with a secretive smile. When his head rises, his eyes gleam with a dark intensity that infects the room.

This is all happening so quickly.

“With pleasure,” he says. “But first, we need to go over one rule. You always have the power to put an end to this. No matter what, no matter where you yell or mouth stop with intent then we stop. No questions asked.”

“That’s not going to work for me. I use that word without actually meaning it.”

“Fine. Pick a word.”

Selene looks at each of us, biting her lip. “Mermaid.”

We all nod, acknowledging the unspoken rules of the night—even though Selene already had her tongue on my cock, but I digress.

Tristan turns to Selene, brushing his knuckles against her cheek. “Pick a good place to hide, darling. Because when we catch you, all bets are off.”

Selene laughs lightly. “Or when I catch you. How much time do I get?”

Tristan shrugs. “Until I get bored.”

With that, Selene gathers her dress and dashes out, disappearing through the bar’s side door.

“Are we really doing this?” Dominik mutters, pulling his mask up to glare at me.

There’s no hesitation in my mind. I want this.

“Yes, we’re doing it. Well, I am. You don’t have to.”

Dom groans, pinching the bridge of his nose. “You know I’m going to follow you wherever the hell you go.”

“What’s gotten into you? Normally this would be right up your alley.”

Tristan chuckles under his breath, and I shoot him a warning look. Is he screwing with Dom, or does he know something I don’t? He’s already proven he has dirt on me, and I wouldn’t put it past him to dig into Dom the second we walked in.

But I’ve known Dominik since we were kids. He’s my best friend. He has no reason to hide anything from me.

“Nothing,” Dom says, his voice tight. “Just tired.”

“We’ve got coffee and energy drinks if you need?—”

“I said I’m fine,” he snaps.

Jesus, okay. He should have napped on the flight.

Tristan reappears behind the bar with three small devices, handing one to each of us.

“Sorry to interrupt your lovers quarrel, but we’re losing time here. These cards will give you access to green rooms and hallways. Red ones are locked—don’t even try it. You’ll get shocked. Most people like to be watched, though, or welcome extra players.” He winks, rolling up his sleeves. “And don’t worry—this place is airtight. Untamed’s secrets stay here. Trust me, Dominik. Way more important people than you have walked these halls, and nothing’s ever leaked.”

“Oddly enough, I believe him,” I say, trying to reassure Dom. Guilt gnaws at the back of my head for pushing him to do something he’s clearly uncomfortable with. Even though he’s always been the twisted one.

Dom exhales, raking a hand through his curls. “Fine. I’m in. But we’re never talking about this again. Not to anyone.”

I step closer, gripping the back of his neck until our foreheads touch. “Brothers for life.”

“Brothers for life,” he echoes.

We’ve done this since high school—a silent pact to remind each other we’re family. Nothing has or will ever break our bond.

Tristan’s watch beeps. “Time’s up. Let’s go find our huntress.”

I look over at my new business partner and my best friend. The three of us creating our very own hide and seek with a beautiful stranger. I’m beyond excited.

She’ll be mine first.

We secure our masks and scatter.
