Chapter 7
ERYX
“Who is she? Are you fucking her?” Brielle’s voice comes through like nails dragging across a chalkboard.
I need to find out what she’s doing here, and what she wants. One thing is clear though, it won’t be me. I cut off all contact with her the day I called off our engagement. I couldn’t force it any longer. The thought of being tied with her for the rest of my life suffocated me.
Why does everything need to be a business deal? A transactional back and forth? I respect my father, look up to him, but I couldn’t in good consciousness go through with marrying Brielle. Specially after meeting my sweet raven. No one compares to her beauty, her brains, and that fucking mouth.
The thought of her pretty lips wrapped around my cock, had me straining my pants. Which is the worst timing, as I have a nagging Brielle in front of me right now, demanding answers to questions she has no right asking.
“Listen, I don’t know what you’re doing here, or what your angle is, but you need to leave. The school, me, my family and friends alone. Go back to whatever cave you crawled out of.”
Brielle was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
Never valued anything or anyone, unless it was serving her in some way, but even then, she acted as if everything and everyone was beneath her.
Always rude to wait staff and always demanding things.
She thinks the world revolves around her and that we’re all here to worship her.
It’s one of the many reasons I called things off with her.
“Come on baby,” she coos at me. Trying to give me her best doe eyes, but her bottomless ocean eyes, are nothing compared to the pools of deep ember that are Anastasia’s.
She leans in closer, placing her hand on my chest, “Don’t you remember how good we were together. I miss us baby.”
I grip her wrist and pull her off of me, “What I remember is what a vile bitch you were. I also remember you fucking Jason the week before our wedding.”
She gasps taking a step back, “What are you—You knew?”
Tsk, “Of course I knew, did you think you were that good at hiding it? It’s not like it mattered though.
By the time I found out, I had already made up my mind.
” I bring my hand to her neck and shove her against the wall behind her.
“Leave and don’t come back. I won’t ask so nicely next time.
” I drop her back down and walk away as she sinks to the floor catching her breath.
