Epilogue
Pierce
One Month Later
My new job isn’t that different from my old one. I do the same kind of things. I oversee staff, and I hire and fire. I train and partake in the marketing, band bookings, music choices, and other things that make a bar great. The only difference is that I don’t see Wesley as often. But given how he lives with me now, while Minnie kept his old place, I know I’ll get to see him tonight before he goes to work. Plus, I get to wake up with him next to me every morning. And I have some of his artwork hanging in my office. Sweet Cocktails even has some, too. Four of his drawings are framed and hanging on the wall in my new office.
Hawk Johnson, my new boss, enters my office.
“Hey, how are you settling in?” he asks.
Hawk is over six feet tall, has salt and pepper hair, and works out often, judging by the muscles barely contained in his grey suit. He looks more like a bodyguard than a bar owner, but the job suits him. He’s a control freak but props people up. He’s very well organized and is an absolute joy to work with. It makes my job easier knowing that the owner is just as invested as the rest of us and is good at communicating.
Hence, this little talk.
“I’m doing pretty good. This system is similar to Sweet Cocktails, so it’s easy to pick up.”
Hawk nods.
He knows about Wesley and me. I told him when I emailed him back about the interview. I assured him that what happened between me and Wesley will not happen here. If anything, because, for one, I don’t want anyone else, and second I don’t like breaking the rules. It was just for him that I was willing to risk it.
“Well, I’ll let you get back to work. I just came by to see how you’re doing and tell you that you have a visitor.”
Wesley comes into the room, wearing a grey T-shirt that, from here, I can tell is soft and a pair of jeans.
“Hey,” he says.
Hawk and Wesley exchange handshakes as he leaves. Before he does, he pulls Wesley in to say something that makes him grin. Then he shuts the door, leaving me alone with my boyfriend.
“What did he say?” I ask, giving him a kiss.
“He just said to keep you out of trouble. Not sure what he could be referring to.”
“I felt like I had to tell him how we became a couple on the job. Plus, I’ve been dodging him for months, and then suddenly I tell him I want the job,” I explain.
“Not a problem, man. It’s not like I don’t love keeping you out of trouble.”
He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me into him, where I can feel his erection poking me.
“Never thought we’d fuck in your office ever again, did you?” Wesley winks as he pushes me against my desk and presses his lips into mine.
“Maybe,” I murmur in between kisses.
“God, I love you,” Wesley moans as I push my cock inside him a few minutes later. I cover his mouth to keep him quiet. This isn’t the bar where it’s late at night and loud. It’s two in the afternoon, and my boss's office is right next to us.
“Keep quiet, Boy. You don’t want anyone catching us, do you?”
Wesley nods his head as he spreads his legs wider, and I sink in a little deeper.
“Fuck, that’s it,” I groan into his ear and wrap my hand around his dick.
“You gonna come for me, Boy? Gonna come all over my cock and not make a sound like a good boy?”
He nods again.
“Then come for me.” I thrust into him faster as I get closer to the finish line.
His fingers curl against my desk as he growls his release, shooting his cum across my desk.
“Yes. That’s it. Come, baby.” I fuck him faster as I chase my release, prolonging his until I come.
I bite his shoulder and still as I come in his ass. Just the thought of that cum dripping out of him on his walk back home has me twitching and filling him up some more.
“I love you,” I pant against Wesley’s shoulder.
I pull out, and he turns around so he can kiss me.
“I fucking love you, too.”
Fuck. There is nothing better than this. I can’t believe I spent my whole life scared. Even more so, I’m shocked it didn’t take me so long to get over it. Well, I did live with it for over twenty years, but it took only a handful of months to get to where I am now.
So fucking in love.
Because right now, nothing scares me. In Wesley’s arms, I feel like I can do anything. Be anyone. Be the man who loves with his whole heart without feeling like it will inevitably break. Be a strong man. Be Wesley’s man as much as he is mine.
