41. Nathan
NATHAN
Their moms sounded like they’d been friends for years, finishing one another’s sentences or losing themselves in sporadic fits of giggles. Emma and Octavia chatted animatedly, occasionally bringing Scottie and Nathan into the conversation but otherwise in their own little world.
Scottie and Nathan chatted about hockey, Lego, and video games with Tyler, who brought up his mom every few minutes.
She wanted him to play hockey. She had to work so much so she could afford his Lego habit.
She hated violent video games, but he once found her watching a video on her phone from Call of Duty.
“Well, Ghost is pretty cool,” Scottie said before popping a nacho into his mouth.
“I want to be Ghost for Halloween this year,” Tyler said, perking up. “But Mom says she doesn’t want me to have guns even if they’re fake.”
“Well, that’s probably for the best,” Nathan said, his face heating when Octavia’s grip on his thigh tightened. “Why not go as a hockey player. I could probably hook you up with some gear.”
Tyler perked up at that. “Really?”
“Why do you sound surprised?” He scoffed. “I have all the connections, kid.”
“Promise?” Tyler narrowed his eyes, challenging Nathan.
Nathan nearly burst out laughing because there was something very familiar in that expression. He’d seen it on the face of the beautiful redhead sitting beside him a time or two. They were definitely related.
“As long as it’s okay with your mom.”
“It will be,” Tyler said confidently, focusing on selecting several fries that were the same length before dipping them into the pool of ketchup on his plate.
“Don’t fuck this up,” Emma said, hugging Nathan. “I mean it, I really like her and it would be nice to even this situation out a bit.” She gestured between herself and her brothers.
“I don’t plan to,” he whispered back, stepping around her and into the arms of Octavia’s mother. “It was so nice to meet you, Joanna.”
“You too, Nathan.” She squeezed him tightly. “And thank you for entertaining Tyler, he’s going to be talking about tonight for a while.”
“He’s a good kid,” he said, tapping the brim of Tyler’s hat. “You’ll have to come to another game. Next time you can come meet the guys.”
“Really?” Tyler asked, eyes wide in shock.
“Why do you still seem shocked that I have connections?” He chuckled, turning his attention back to Octavia’s mother. “It’s too bad Flora couldn’t make it.”
“I’ll just have to host a dinner soon,” she said, reaching for Tyler’s hand and walking out of the restaurant along with his family, leaving him and Octavia standing there alone.
“It was nice of your sister to drive Scottie home.” She slipped her hand into his, leaning into him.
He tightened his grip on her hand. “Well, she feels bad that she doesn’t have a Scottie-friendly house. But”—he grinned down at her—“I don’t think he’s going to be with me for much longer. Apparently he’s doing way better than expected.”
“That’s amazing. So…”
Nathan pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “So soon you’ll be screaming my name in my condo again.”
Octavia tipped her head back and smiled up at him. “Your place does have way better acoustics.” She laughed, stepping forward and pulling him out of the restaurant. “Now let’s go. I’ve been resting my vocal cords in preparation for all the screaming you’re going to make me do tonight.”
Nathan’s hand covered Octavia’s mouth as he slid into her, his gaze holding hers in the spacious change room where they were supposed to be trying things on for an upcoming charity gala.
The door had barely closed before Octavia acted out exactly what she said she would do on the phone weeks earlier, stripping and crawling across the floor to him.
He’d looked from her hungry expression to the view of her ass in the mirror and back, getting harder with each movement she made.
And then she’d stopped in front of him, undone his pants, and taken him in her mouth, the red lipstick she’d opted to wear that day accentuating the way her lips stretched around his cock.
When he felt the telltale tingle at the base of his spine, he pulled her off and dropped to his knees, spinning her around in one swift move before entering her with no ceremony. She only managed to get a quiet moan out before his palm came to rest across her lips.
“Touch yourself, Octavia. I want to feel you come on my cock before I fill you up.”
Octavia did as she was told, sliding her hand down her body, her fingers disappearing between her legs, eyes practically crossing when she touched herself.
The moment he felt her movement falter, he drove home just in time to feel her pussy squeeze him so tight he had no choice but to stay still and let her milk him dry.
Nathan slowly removed his hand, dropping his lips to the nape of her neck, kissing her softly before he backed slowly out of her.
He looked around and realized there was nothing to clean up with, so he rolled to his back, his cock still hard, covered in them and resting on his stomach.
Octavia didn’t need direction, she straddled his chest, lowering herself until he grabbed her hips and dragged her down to his waiting mouth. She in turn took him back into her mouth, gently sucking and licking, knowing how sensitive he was.
He could start carrying wet wipes around, but why bother when the current method worked just as well and felt so much better.
“I think these two are perfect,” Nathan said, draping the blue gown and dark green suit onto the counter.
If the saleswoman knew what they’d been up to, she didn’t let on. One of the perks of a store this expensive was discretion. He was almost positive he could have let Octavia make all the noise she wanted and no one would have said a damn thing.
Once their new clothes were safely in garment bags, Nathan took Octavia’s hand and led her out onto the swankiest street in Toronto, the bags thrown over his shoulder as they walked to the valet parking.
“That was so fucking hot,” Octavia breathed out once they were in the car. “Like, holy shit, world rocked, never going to be able to go into a change room again without getting horny, hot.”
Nathan leaned across the centre console and hauled her in for a searing kiss. “Guess you should only shop for clothes when we’re together then, eh?”
“Or keep a vibrator in my purse,” she said.
“Nah, I like the idea of you getting all hot and bothered and not being able to do anything about it until I’m back between your legs. Change room edging.” He laughed, sitting back and starting the car. “I didn’t even need the suit, I’ve got three like it in my closet.”
“Nathan, that thing was two thousand dollars.”
He glanced at her quickly, grinning like a fool before turning out of the garage and onto the side road lined with old maples and luxury cars.
“And I’d pay triple to get to have that experience with you again.”
“You have a problem,” she teased.
“I know. I told you that weeks ago.”
