7. Mazikeen

A Short Time Later . . .

Time had gotten away from us since we said that we would plan a couple’s trip.

Work had been hectic for all of us. It was crazy how God connected people together.

For umpteen years, Falcon, Rome, and I had been in the same industry.

I heard about their companies, but never physically crossed paths with either of them.

“Baby, you want another piece?” Falcon’s body blocked the sun that had shifted to torment me. He was so sexy with his grill apron on over his wife beater and cargo shorts.

With a sneaky smile, I responded. “I’m full of the food, but I have room for something else. I’ll always take that.”

We finally made it to our couple’s weekend getaway.

For years, I wanted to go to Long Cove Resort and Marina.

It was the cutest resort of tiny houses with private beach fronts that were located on the banks of Lake Wylie.

The resort was less than an hour away from Charlotte.

Each couple had their own tiny house. Oh, and by each couple, I meant Mama Lauren and Pop Franklin, Dove, and her new boo, Kyle.

Pop Franklin, Rome, and Falcon didn’t seem too happy with that added couple, but the love of football seemed to have bonded them.

Falcon moved to the side of the lounge chair that I sat on, then squatted.

“Kee, I’ve been trying all day not to be mannish in front of my parents.

” He peeked over his shoulder to where his parents sat cuddled up.

“They are full and engulfed with each other. I will take you in that damn house and wear your fine ass out.”

I leaned my body over in my chair so that my face was directly in front of his. “You promise? I want you to take me in the damn house and wear my fine ass out, please.”

I moved in and passionately kissed his lips. When his hand gripped my neck, I moaned into his mouth. He pulled away, gazed at me for a beat, then stood up. “Aye, we need to have a talk. We’ll be back!”

I couldn’t help the giggles that came from the pit of my soul at how everyone looked at us. Well, not everyone because Lula and Rome were in their own world. I was surprised that they weren’t in their house.

The sun was about to set, so a cool breeze came off the water. Falcon helped me out of my lounge seat. We walked in step with his arms wrapped firmly around my waist from behind. The second both of our feet were in our tiny house and the door was locked, we were on each other.

The speed that we took our clothes off could have been documented for the Guinness Book Of World Records.

His hands felt like cooling pads on my warm skin.

Falcon’s hands and body were whatever I needed them to be when I needed them to be.

If I were cold and he touched me, it felt like his body was my warmer.

The same went for if my body was hot. He was my coolant.

The house that we rented had a small table in the kitchen for dining.

Falcon laid me back on the table, lifted my leg, and used the table exactly for what it was meant for.

The first night we arrived, I was scared to put my body weight on the table because it didn’t look sturdy enough to handle it.

Falcon proved that whoever made this wooden table built it for heavy loads.

“Right there, baby. Gobble that pussy up,” I encouraged. One of my hands rubbed the back of his head, and the other cupped my breast.

One of Falcon’s hands gripped my thigh, and the other found my untouched breast to cup it. His thumb and index finger found my nipple. My orgasm was automatic when his fingers pinched down. My body shook with the release.

His head lifted from my center. “Yeah, let that nut go.”

My head bent forward to see him. His beard glistened with my essence. I almost lost my mind when he licked his lips. “I want that dick now!”

He needed to be in me right damn now. One thing I loved about my man was that he was great at following instructions. Before the request could linger in the air too long, he slid his dick in me. His moan birthed mine. “Fuckin’ good-pussy-having ass. I love you, Mazikeen Joy.”

“Oh my God! Fal—” I couldn’t finish my words because of the nut that was triggered when he said my name. Yes, I loved when he called me Kee, but there was something so much more powerful when he called me by my birth given name.

Every time he said Mazikeen, it sounded like he had an accent. I couldn’t pinpoint where it came from, but I loved it. It took a whole higher level when he added Joy to it.

Smack! He pulled out of me, then quickly shifted my position. I was on my side, and I knew this man was about to punish me in the most wonderful way. My hand gripped the side of the table when he slid in. This wasn’t a soft slide either. It was that give me this pussy slide.

For the next few minutes, all that could be heard was the smacking of our skin against each other, our moans, and shit talking. When we were done, I needed a moment to just be there on the table in silence and satisfaction.

Smack! Fal’s hand was heavy as hell. “Come on so we can get in the shower and get back out there.”

Forty minutes later, we were showered and fucked. Like we hadn’t left everyone to go fuck, we joined everyone and fell back into conversations. All the women were now seated next to each other in their lounge chairs. The men talked and played dominos at the table not too far away.

“It seems like the men get along with Kyle,” I pointed out. “How did y’all meet again, Dove?”

Dove Elise St. Claire was a beautiful woman who was complex.

She was such a family-oriented girl who kept her own business close to her chest. When Lula and I told her about our planned couple’s weekend, we both were surprised that she wanted to tag along with a boo.

It was only then that we found out she and Kyle had been dating for almost four months.

She peered over to where the men sat. “Yeah, they do. I’m not sure how I feel about him though. This weekend was the determining factor for if we were going to continue dating, stop dating, or commit to a relationship. Well, at least for me it was.”

Mama Lauren shifted in her seat to face Dove. “Why don’t you know how you feel about him? Y’all been together for almost four months.”

Dove’s finger shot up. “No, we haven’t been together. We have been dating, and there is a difference. Mama, that nigga is still in the interview phase. He has not gotten the job yet.”

Mama Lauren’s head bucked back, but her eyes showed love and admiration. Her beautiful smile surfaced. “I love it, baby girl. You make him earn you. Now, why do you not know how you feel?”

Dove leaned forward before she spoke. “I overheard him talking to Falcon, Daddy, and Rome. They were talking about different stuff, but what stuck out was when they talked about stuff that I knew Kyle didn’t like.

Mama, he would agree with them like he liked it and even egged on the conversation more. ”

I giggled. “Sis, maybe he just wanted to impress them. You can’t really fault him for that.”

Her face scrunched. “The hell I can’t. You shouldn’t have to lie to impress someone. If a person isn’t impressed with the authentic you, then you need to tell them to move the hell around. Plus, now all I see is a liar. I can’t be with a liar.”

I thought about what she said and had to agree. “I definitely see where you’re coming from. So, what are you going to do?”

“I’m going to enjoy the rest of the weekend.

He’s a cool dude, but that lie to get on ain’t it,” Dove confirmed.

She sat back in her seat, picked up her drink that was on the table between her seat and her mother’s, then took a sip.

I loved how resolute she was when she made decisions.

It was one of the first things that I noticed about her when we started to hang out.

Lula chuckled. “I hope he doesn’t feel some kind of way because he paid for this weekend. It would be a horrible day in Charlotte if he decides to act crazy.”

“His ass didn’t pay for this; I did. Our dating is an even exchange. He pays sometimes, and I do the other times. That’s the easiest way to do it. I know he could pay every time, but I want him to know so can I.”

At thirty, Dove had it together. As the marketing director of her brother’s business, she made an exceptional salary.

Based on what they told me, she invested as well with Washington-Smith Brokerage Firm.

I recently made my first investment with the firm at the Charlotte office.

My broker had already made my money talk, and it hadn’t even been six months since I opened my account.

I smiled. “Dove, I wish I had it together like you did when I was thirty. My ass was flailing in the wind.” My eyes wandered over to the men at the table. Like he sensed my eyes on him, Falcon locked eyes with me. “I’m so happy I got it right.”

“Damn right you did,” Mama Lauren blurted.

Her focus bounced between me and Lula. “Both of you did. Those two men were raised right, and I thank God every day that it shows. Now, Rome was touch and go for a second, but I love my godson. His mama, Mora, and I prayed over that boy a lot before she died.”

That brought out the laughter in all of us. Rome was hell, but so was Falcon. Falcon might have just been better at camouflaging it for his mother. None of that mattered now, because he was my hell now.

A Little Time Later

Is This The Call . . .

The sound of my cell phone ringing snatched me out of my sleep. My tired eyes tried to focus quickly to see what time it was: 2:50 am. If it was that time and the phone actually rang, that meant whoever it was, I’d programmed to get around my do not disturb.

Falcon’s arm was tightly around me with his face nestled into my neck. I reached out as gently as I could to not wake him. I caught the call right before it went to voicemail. “Hello?”
