What’s Love Got To Do With It

WHEN BLAKE LAWRENCE SIGNS ON to round out the cast of hitmaker Streamflix’s spicy new reality show, his leap of faith is mostly based on the splashy ad call, regardless of what his nosy brother and borderline-tragic social life might suggest.

Brimming with colorful promises that almost suspiciously mirror Blake’s idea of the perfect hookup scene, he’s not entirely convinced he hasn’t already been seduced.

So what if he has?

Considering the worst-case scenario amounts to an all-expenses paid getaway (at a luxury island resort with amenities that include VIP access to a stocked buffet of 4K Ultra-ready bodies, all belonging to professionally pre-screened, DTF singles), even Blake can admit that he’s had worse offers.

If nothing else, there’s a cash prize up for grabs, and he’s no billionaire.

Suffice it to say, this trip is not about love.

In fact, love is damn near the last thing Blake is expecting to find on the island, least of all via some romcom-worthy meet-cute and an instant, profound connection with another commitment-phobic contestant…on day one.

What’s a (brand) newly-reformed playboy to do?

Especially upon discovering that the object of his unwitting affections, a captivating and quirky, orgy-loving hippie type named Paxton, of all things, not only sees him, but somehow, against all odds, claims to feel the same?!

Enter: Production, always on time to fan the flames!

With Blake still reeling from his encounter, the earbud-hoarding, narrative guardrails he’s come to know as producers drop a Primetime-worthy twist that leaves all the participants questioning everything–including their place in Paradise.

It should be an insurmountable disappointment to Blake’s practiced playboy persona when he learns the show’s true intentions, but despite his shields and scars, Blake finds himself daring to hope that this is the sign he’s been waiting for.

All that’s left to do is sort out whether he and Paxton (and all the baggage they carry) fit together in more ways than–well, the obvious.
