Chapter 7 Jahmir

SEVEN

JAHMIR

I sat in my work truck sucking on my bottom lip, trying to make Tatiyonna’s taste last as long as I could.

One thing I couldn’t do, though, was leave her to get in her car alone at night without making sure she was safe.

If she wasn’t on the whole business shit, I would’ve walked her ass to her car.

After what I had just done to her, I knew she was going to avoid me for real.

I was still unsure of what the spark was between us, but I was starting to like it.

She was married, though, and I wasn’t the type of man to play second place.

Her pussy tasted too good to be a side nigga.

I knew I would become possessive of her, and she wasn’t mine.

Thirty minutes later, she walked out fully clothed in the jogging suit that she had come in.

Watching her get in her car, you would’ve never known that she could move and stretch her body the way she just did over an hour ago.

There were so many layers to her, and I was going to have to fuck the shit out of my assistant to not dig deeper to get to know Tatiyonna.

She pulled off and turned one way, and I pulled off and turned the opposite way.

Because the location of my job site was closer to Lonni’s, I decided to stay there instead of driving all the way home.

“You can’t answer your phone?” Lonni fussed as soon as I opened the door.

“Is someone dead?” I looked around and noticed the kids eating.

Lonni always panicked whenever I didn’t answer my phone. She called it being protective but I knew she had a little anxiety issue being that we were the only adults left in our family.

“Nigga, no! I needed something from the store and didn’t want to take them out.” She stopped in her tracks when she looked at me. “I thought you were going to do a walk-through of a site?”

“I did.”

“How did you get that big ass white spot on your jeans?”

I forgot Tatiyonna sat on my lap afterwards.

“And that’s where you need to mind your damn business. I’m about to shower.”

“Mmmhhmm, now I know why you couldn’t answer the phone with your nasty ass.”

“Call it what you want. It was well worth it,” I said as I went upstairs.

Closing the door behind me, all I could do was stare at the spot in my jeans and smile.

Glad that I was the one to send her home pleased.

A part of me hoped her nigga was there to see what it looked like when his woman's soul was snatched.

Before turning the shower on, I grabbed my toothbrush to brush my teeth.

Not before savoring that last sweet smell of Tatiyonna.

A shower and beard shampoo later, I was back downstairs with my family. Jumping right in to help my sister with the twins. She couldn't wait to get them in the bed so she could ask me who the hell I was comfortable enough with to mess my clothes up. Lonni knew not even my secretary could do that.

“Not to get in your business or anything, but you mind telling me who the hell this woman is? I think I at least need to know that because you've never been so damn smitten in all your life.”

“It ain't nothing that deep. One-time thing that just happened. We got caught up.” I brushed it off.

Something deep inside of me told me this was not one time. I made a promise, though, and I was big on keeping my word. Tatiyonna was a good person, and she did an excellent job with my niece and nephew. I couldn't fuck that up for some pussy.

“That's the thing, Jah. You don't get caught up. You're very careful and funny about who you get caught up with. This person has to be special.”

“Your ass was gone for a whole weekend. When you got back, did I bother you? You came back with passion marks and all. Had Dream asking what bit you.”

“You know what? Yeah, let me get out of your business.”

“Yeah.” We both laughed.

The next morning, I parked on site and walked by Tatiyonna’s studio.

I wondered why she never put up any signage or opened it up to the public.

Though things went a different way last night, I could tell dancing was what she loved.

The place had a lot of potential. As I made my way towards the back of the building where the construction site was going on, I ran into the arrogant muthafucka that I told the foreman to keep away from me until the concrete was laid.

“Good morning,” he greeted, and tried to hand me the extra cup of coffee he had in his hand.

“I don’t take drinks from strangers,” I replied.

“Look, I know we started on the wrong foot a few weeks ago, and I want to apologize for that. After speaking with a few people, I noticed I was wrong for coming at you like that. Can we start over?”

I looked this nigga up and down before extending my hand.

We had business to do, and he did drop a nice check into my business account.

The last thing I wanted to do was leave a bad taste in someone’s mouth.

There wasn’t another concrete business in the state doing it like me, but all it took was for one cornball ass nigga to ruin the business relationships I formed.

“You keep the coffee. I was serious about drinking from strangers. Now, let’s walk the site and make sure the concrete is being laid correctly.”

After spending two hours with him, I found out he was married with one child.

Played football all his life, but his body wouldn’t let him go in the league.

He made sure that he got his degree because his now wife stayed on his ass about his schoolwork.

All he talked about was his wife and how much he appreciated her for being in his life, even when he fucked up.

He was a lucky man and actually seemed to be pretty cool now that he gave his life run down.

Most men would love to have a family that they could spend all their hard-earned money on and spoil.

Shit, that’s all I ever wanted, but this nigga sounded like he grabbed the last good woman.

It was lunch time, and I was ready to take my steel-toe boots off.

I had someone call out today, so I had to end up jumping in a truck and working.

I never cared about getting my hands dirty because it’s how I was able to keep my employees.

They didn’t mind putting in extra time if I asked because they knew I would get out there with them.

It was rare for someone not to show for a job.

I walked out of the nasty ass porta-potty, and I noticed Kileen sitting in his car in a heated conversation.

I got into the bed of my truck and took a bottle of water and soap that I kept to clean my hands.

Afterwards, I hopped in my truck and pulled out my lunch box to see what the hell Lonni fixed me today.

She helped keep me balanced. If I had stayed home and then come to work, I would’ve been starving.

I knew your stupid ass was going to be hungry. So, enjoy the sandwiches, nigga.

~Your favorite sister

She packed me two sandwiches, fruit, and plenty of water.

As I ate, I pulled my phone out and typed in Tatiyonna’s business page in hopes I would find her social media.

Her picture popped up, and the first thing I noticed was the rock on her finger.

I don’t know why I got jealous just knowing another nigga was able to smell her pussy before me.

I browsed around the website until I landed on the address of her business.

All this time, I thought she mainly worked at home.

It was nice to know she had a brick-and-mortar.

She was degreed twice and had so many certifications that I couldn’t help but smile.

Nothing like an educated black woman. I clicked on the Instagram icon at the bottom of the page that led me to her business page.

She only had a few testimonials on there, and she did have a picture with a guy and a woman.

I looked down at the caption to see that it was her birthday when they took the picture.

I took a screenshot to keep that in mind.

I went to her tagged pictures and found her personal Instagram page.

I didn’t want to be a creep and follow her.

I went through a few of her pictures and liked them.

After finding what I wanted to see, I focused on finishing my food so I could get these last few hours done.

Just like I thought she would, Tatiyonna cancelled her appointment with the twins. I hadn’t seen her in over a week. When I noticed the email, I hadn’t spotted my sister staring at me.

“Why are you standing there with your face balled up? She said in the email that she was sick and she will reschedule. Look at it this way, you didn’t have to pay for a session,” Lonni stated.

“Nah, I don’t like the fact that we cleared our day to have her ass here and she didn’t show the fuck up.”

“Nigga, you don’t have to clear anything. You did that on your own. I’ve been in sessions with them by myself several times. You good?” She stood in front of me.

“Yeah, I’ll be back. Call me if you need something while I’m out.”

“Just don’t come back with anything on you,” she yelled to my back.

I hopped in my car and headed towards the address that she had on her business page.

I was trying to keep the shit on a business level, but fuck, I couldn’t shake her ass for nothing.

I really just wanted to see her today. I wasn’t going to bother when she walked in the house.

My gut was telling me she wasn’t going to show up because she was too scared to face me.

To my surprise, her Tesla was parked along with two other cars.

“Hey, may I help you?” the guy from the picture asked.

“Is Tatiyonna here?”

“May I ask who you are? You know, just keeping her safe.”

“Yeah, I get it. Tell her Jahmir is here to speak with her about rescheduling an appointment.”

“Give me just a second.” He disappeared down the hall.

I took a seat and waited. Five minutes later, she emerged with the male and another female. This was the other person who was in the picture with her. All three of them stood there staring at me. Shit made me wonder what the fuck she told them about me.

“Jahmir, is it? I’m Casi, Tati’s best friend. She didn’t tell me she had any male clients.” She looked back at Tatiyonna.

“When do I ever speak about my clients with you? Don’t play, Casi. Go, I’ll see you tonight.” She pushed her away.

“Bye, Mr. Jahmir.” I could see her saying something to Tatiyonna from my peripheral vision.

“Hey, you can set the autoreply and go for the day,” she told the guy.

“You sure?” the dude looked at me.

I hope he didn’t think he would be able to protect Tatiyonna from me. His ass was probably one-seventy. I laughed until Tatiyonna gave me an evil eye.

“I’m sure. I won’t be long, and I have cameras.”

“Okay, you know I’ll have my work phone on if you need anything,” he told her.

“You can follow me,” she told me.

As I followed, all I could do was watch her ass in the pencil skirt that I know she struggled to put on over her ass and thighs.

Her office was decorated in shades of pink and gold.

She had a candle lit that smelled just as sweet as her.

I waited for her to walk behind her desk, but she wouldn’t look at me.

“Why did you cancel on the twins? You don’t look sick to me.” I sat across from her.

She locked eyes with me and made my dick twitch. I was already forcing myself to stay seated and not snatch her ass up and lift her skirt.

“What makes you think I’m not sick?”

“You don’t look sick to me. You look fine.”

“Looks can be deceiving, you know.”

“Man, if you’re avoiding me, then say that.”

She jumped up and closed the door so he wouldn’t hear us.

“I’m not avoiding you. It was just too soon to face you after what happened between us.”

“You ashamed you got your pussy ate? You’re acting like I’m looking at you like you’re easy. Shit, I’m the one sitting here fucking thirsty. Chasing you and shit.”

“It is a little embarrassing, don’t you think? We don’t know each other like that. Do you just go around putting your mouth on women’s private parts?”

“Actually, there has been only one woman who has ever gotten head from me. You’re the second. So, fuck no, I don’t go around putting my mouth on just anything. If you haven’t learned anything about me, I’m extremely clean.”

“Did you want to reschedule their appointment?” she tapped at her keyboard.

“Do I make you nervous, Ms. Cole?”

“I’m a big girl, Jah. I’m not afraid of you. Professional, remember?”

The sound of the alarm from the front door chimed, letting me know her assistant was gone.

“You can pull that professional shit all you want. What I saw that night was the real you. I appreciate you being a mature woman, but I want you to know that it’s okay to get your needs met. Your husband ain’t doing it, and that’s where I come in.”

“Jah, please,” she laughed. “You have no idea what my husband is doing.”

“Oh yeah? Then why you ain’t you put that ring back on yet? You’ve engulfed yourself in work to avoid the fact that the nigga mistreated you.”

I stood up and walked around her desk. Pulling her up, I pulled her between my legs. Her heart was racing, causing her necklace to thump against her chest.

“I’m not asking you for shit. No strings. Just me pleasing you when you want it. Showing your body how it should’ve been treated from the jump. No one will ever know. Unless you want them to.”

I grabbed her around her neck and gave her a passionate kiss.

“When you’re ready for that pussy to be pleased, both of my numbers are on the card.”
