Chapter 115

“Scared that I won’t make enough money, and I’ll be upside down. Scared to take on more, and failing.”

“Well, you gotta stop doubting yourself. And I honestly don’t get how that nigga was hustling, and not giving you the money to invest. You could’ve been his way out.”

“I hear you. I guess that nobody was thinking. But what about you? You mentioned a way out. You’ve definitely made more money than he’s ever touched. So, why are you still in the game?”

I shrugged. “Honestly, I been asking myself the same thing, lately. I guess in a spiritual way, I was waiting on a sign.”

“A sign?” She lightly frowned. “The sign should be that you’ve made life-changing money. Got your kids in a nice home, and still have your freedom. Those are the only signs you need.”

I nodded. “I hear you.” “Do you really?” “Yeah, I do, Keshawn.”

“Keshawn?” She smiled.

“Yeah, that’s your name, aint it?” She nodded. “It is.”

Gazing at her pretty face, I couldn’t help but feel infatuated. Even with those braids, I could see the soft texture of her hair, gently brushing against her brown skin. Her lips, eyes, and dimples were perfect, and it was all attached to the coolest girl on the planet.

“Come here,” I growled, pulling her in for a kiss.

“Umm,” she moaned against me. “I wanna thank you, Face.

For everything. You’ve been so good to me.”

I wrapped my arms around her. “And you’ve been better to me. But I’ma tell you what would be super player.”

“What’s that?”

“If I sit back, and you sit on this dick.” She smiled. “Well, say less.”
