He smiled. “But it is.”
“And that means negative. A line in each little window,” I smartly summarized.
“Nah.” He shook his head. “That aint what I’m looking at.” I laughed. “Boy, bye.”
He lightly frowned, before looking at me. “Why would I play like that? Especially after you told me what you told me. I’d never laugh at that.”
“Okay, Face. I hear you,” I inhaled, as I wiped myself, flushed the toilet, before standing up.
“So, hear me when I say that I’m looking at a plus sign.” He grabbed the pregnancy test, and held it in front of my eyes.
“Face, get that test out of my—” I caught myself, as I actually looked at the test. “What the fuck?” I gasped. “This, this can’t be real.”
He smiled. “But it is.”
“Oh my God.” I hurriedly washed my hands, before clutching my face, and bawling into my palms.
He grabbed my hands, pulling them away from my face. “Girl, what chu crying for?”
“How did this happen?” I cried. “You mad?”
“No.” I shook my head profusely. “Then what’s the problem?”
“There is no problem. I’m just shocked,” I breathed out, calming myself. “I honestly thought that I couldn’t get pregnant.”
“I know.” He smiled. “Well, now you see.” I nodded, and sniffed.
“Oh, wow.” I abruptly threw my arms around him. “This is so fucking crazy.”
“I know,” he chuckled, before hungrily kissing my lips.
For a long minute, I allowed him to caress my body, while I tried to wrap my mind around what was happening.
