Chapter 16

Keld

Keld pretended to mull the question over. A continuous flow of very recent memories churned through his mind—Grayson’s pink lips parted in ecstasy, his lean muscles tensing against the ropes that bound him, the tears streaking his face as he came.

“I guess I can allow it,” Keld said at last. “As long as I can watch you watch me.”

Grayson huffed a soft laugh. “Deal.”

Keld extricated himself from the bed and went for the nightstand drawer. He tore open a sachet of his favorite lube with his teeth and drizzled it into his palm. The Omega watched each movement like a bird of prey.

Keld positioned himself at the foot of the bed, already stroking the slick fluid across his length. “Spread your legs.”

Grayson hesitated, then let his thighs part. His skin still glistened with arousal and release—Keld could smell the sweet scent from here. He breathed it in and began to move his hand along his cock.

Grayson’s blue gaze burned, following Keld’s hand as it worked. The Omega was definitely experiencing a second wind. His hand drifted lower, moving down to his stiffening member.

Dull heat coiled at the base of Keld’s spine—a warning of a lackluster orgasm. Keld slowed, focusing his grip on the tip, where tightly-packed nerves sang with pleasure.

Grayson was touching himself now, lips parted.

“You like watching?” Keld made a low sound of pleasure. “Look at you. Hard again, so soon.”

Grayson whimpered.

“Slow down,” Keld commanded.

Immediately, the Omega’s hand slowed. Keld paused just long enough to grab the Omega’s legs and haul him toward the foot of the bed.

Grayson gave a quick sound of shock before his head fell back against the mattress and he resumed arching into his own touch.

“That’s right,” Keld whispered. “Keep going. I want to see every stroke.”

The Omega’s breathing quickened. His body moved in tiny, desperate thrusts against the slow motion of his hand.

The sight alone was enough to push Keld toward the edge. “Are you going to come again, little aiu?”

“Yes,” Grayson rasped. The muscles of his arm bunched as he moved faster.

“Stop,” Keld said. “I told you to go slow.”

Grayson gave a broken groan. “I’m so close.” His whole body trembled with tension, practically begging him to end its suffering.

“I haven’t even come once,” Keld said, taking care to enunciate each syllable. “And you’re already seconds away from spilling again. Are you really that desperate?”

Uneven breaths were Grayson’s only response. His spine arched up off the bed, thrusting against the tight grip of his slick-soaked hand.

“Tyr.” Keld’s hips rocked into his fist, eyes fixed on Grayson’s cock. He was moments from losing control.

“Come for me,” he growled. “Show me how well you obey.”

Grayson’s hand sped up. With a quiet cry, he threw his head back, and release painted his stomach white.

Keld followed seconds later, hot seafoam coating Grayson’s thighs. Keld gazed down, panting.

“Xui’asi bua.” He inhaled their combined scent—sugar, flowers, and the powerful arc of Usoi roots, all woven with the tang of sweat and salt. “You look incredible covered in my cum.”

Keld moved to collapse next to the Omega. He ran a claw through the mess they’d made, drawing the foam up onto his stomach.

Grayson didn’t speak, but his whole face was scarlet. Keld propped his head up on one hand.

“Hey.” Keld gripped Grayson’s chin between his thumb and forefinger. “Feeling shy again, are we?”

Grayson glanced up, then back down. “Maybe.”

Keld moved to rest his palm on Grayson’s cheek, thumb stroking those sharp cheekbones. “Why are you embarrassed?”

Grayson’s jaw muscles feathered. “I’ve never… never done anything this intense. I mean…” He gestured to the seafoam that blanketed his entire lower half. “I’ve never even seen Mer cum, let alone been covered in it.”

Keld nodded slowly. “I can understand that.” The foam could be a bit of a shock to less experienced Omegas. He rolled over and took a clean towel from the nearby drawer. “Do you wish we’d done something different?”

Grayson refused to meet Keld’s eyes, but allowed the Mer to clean him. “It was incredible, but…”

“But?” Keld prompted.

Grayson finally looked up at him. “I don’t know this side of myself at all.”

“Hmm.” Keld leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss to Grayson’s mouth. “Maybe I can help you get to know it.”

Grayson smiled wryly. “You just want more sex.”

Keld scoffed, offended. “I can get sex any time I want. I’m a Mer Alpha in a club full of human Omegas. If all I wanted was sex, I’d go find one of them.”

“So why didn’t you?” Grayson challenged.

Keld’s tail flicked across the floor, draped over the side of the bed. Why was he chasing this particular Omega?

“I don’t know,” he admitted. “Maybe I like the thrill of the chase. Maybe I like the idea of perverting your innocence. Maybe I just have a sick, twisted kink for people who hate me.”

“I don’t hate you,” Grayson muttered.

“Not after what we just did, I hope. You looked pretty happy to me.”

“Shut up,” Grayson snapped. “I never hated you. I was embarrassed. I didn’t want to see you because every time I did, I remembered that terrible date.”

The grin faded from Keld’s face. “I am sorry. For what it’s worth, what I did was pretty messed up too.”

“You don’t say,” Grayson said sarcastically. “And here I thought only normal, mentally stable Mer ended up dominating Omegas at sex clubs.”

Keld laughed. “Fair enough.”

They fell silent, close enough to feel the energy crackling between them.

“So. Do you want me to guide you down the path of debauchery?” Keld asked. He walked his fingers down Grayson’s bare side. “So you can find yourself, or whatever it is you want to do?”

Grayson rolled his eyes. “Whatever.”

“That is neither a yes nor a no.”

“Fine!” Grayson shoved Keld’s shoulder. “You can try. But we’re keeping it here, at Siren.”

“Don’t want to make it too personal.” Keld nodded sagely. “I get it. Falling in love with me is a pretty big risk.”

Grayson snorted. “I think I’ll be okay.”

“Ah, but you haven’t felt me inside you yet. Don’t be so sure.”

“Oh my god, don’t make me regret this. What days do you usually hang out here?”

Keld shrugged one shoulder. “It’s not like I’m on a schedule. If you give me your number, I can text you when I’m planning a visit. We can even carpool.”

Grayson rubbed a hand over his face. “Jesus.”

Keld grinned and rolled off the bed to his feet. He bent down to where Grayson’s pants lay crumpled on the floor and withdrew a battered phone. “Passcode?”

“Yeah right.” Grayson held out a hand. “Give it here. What’s your number?” Grayson entered the relayed number and sent a text.

Keld’s phone buzzed.

Grayson Miller: Hi

“What’d you save my name as?” Keld asked, grinning. “You’re going to be Freckled Hole in mine.”

“Absolutely not.”

Keld snickered. “I’m kidding. Your name is Grayson Aiu.”

“Well, you’re Golden Prick in my phone.”

Keld placed a hand over his heart. “Wow. You haven’t even had me yet, and you’re already calling it golden. Now that’s a compliment.”

He would never grow tired of watching Grayson’s pale skin flush.

“No, not—you know what? I’m just putting ‘Alien Overlord’.”

“Kinky.”

“Shut the fuck up,” Grayson snapped, but the little twitch in his lips gave him away. “What does aiu mean, anyway?”

Keld stroked a thumb over his lower lip, watching Grayson’s eyes follow its progress. “Maybe I’ll tell you one day, if you’re a good Omega.”

Grayson rolled his eyes and sat up. “I’m gonna go.”

A slight pang of disappointment hit Keld squarely in the gills, but he refused to let it show. Instead, he helped gather up Grayson’s scattered clothing and watched the Omega redress.

“Think the workshop is over?” Grayson asked, pulling his jeans back over the curve of his ass.

“Probably.” Keld didn’t bother looking up at his face. The way this Omega fills out those jeans… “What are the odds your friends waited for you?”

“Guess I’m about to find out.”

Reluctantly turning away from the view, Keld opened the door and led the way out into the hall. A few couples were making good use of the dark walls around them, and he fought off the urge to slam Grayson into the nearest vertical surface.

The main room had reverted to its usual configuration, with humans and Mer mingling in the open space at the center.

“Grayson!” a female voice called. Keld glanced toward the bar and spotted Grayson’s female coworkers.

“Are they waiting for you to tell them about our escapade in detail?” Keld asked.

“Probably,” Grayson muttered. “They’re going to be disappointed, though.”

Keld turned and gripped Grayson’s chin. “Let’s give them a little taste if you’re not going to be forthcoming.”

Before Grayson could react, Keld dropped his head and kissed him. Electricity seemed to crackle in the meager air between them as Keld deepened the kiss. When his tongue brushed Grayson’s, the Omega moaned softly. Keld pulled back, noting with satisfaction that Grayson’s eyes had gone hazy.

“See you soon, Grayson,” he murmured. Without a backwards glance, Keld worked his way through the crowd and stepped out into the night.
