Chapter 26

The restaurant was the kind of place that required reservations weeks in advance and had a wine list thicker than a phone book. Crystal chandeliers hung from vaulted ceilings. The tables were draped in white linen so crisp it looked like it would cut you if you touched it wrong.

Bea felt every eye in the room turn toward them when they walked in.

Dimitri led the way, his tailored suit fitting him like a second skin. Killian followed, massive and intimidating in all black. His face drawing nervous glances from the other diners. Nico brought up the rear, his dark eyes scanning the room with quiet calculation.

Bea walked between them, wearing a black dress that hugged every curve and heels that made her legs look a mile long. She looked like she belonged to them, and that’s because she did.

The hostess greeted them with a practiced smile, but Bea saw the way her gaze lingered on the brothers. Hungry, assessing, dismissive of Bea’s presence entirely.

“Right this way,” the hostess said, her voice syrupy sweet.

They were led to a corner table with a view of the city skyline. The hostess handed out menus, her fingers brushing Dimitri’s hand just a little too long.

“Your server will be right with you,” she said, her smile widening.

Bea said nothing. She just watched.

The waitress arrived a few minutes later.

She was tall, model tall, with long legs, a narrow waist, and the kind of bone structure that belonged on magazine covers.

Her blonde hair was pulled into a sleek ponytail, and her uniform somehow looked tailored to show off her figure.

She smiled at the brothers like Bea didn’t exist.

“Good evening, gentlemen,” she purred, her voice dripping with flirtation. “Can I start you off with something to drink?”

Dimitri didn’t even glance at her. “Whiskey. Neat.” “Same,” Killian said.

“Scotch,” Nico added.

The waitress’s smile faltered slightly when none of them looked at her. Her gaze flicked to Bea, just for a second, and Bea saw the flash of disdain in her eyes.

“And for you?” the waitress asked, her tone noticeably cooler.

“Water’s fine,” Bea said sweetly.

The waitress’s lips thinned. “Of course.”

She turned back to the brothers, leaning in just slightly as she spoke. “I’ll be right back with those drinks.” Her hand landed on Dimitri’s shoulder, a brief, possessive touch.

Bea’s smile didn’t waver, but Killian’s jaw tightened. Nico’s eyes narrowed. And Dimitri’s expression went cold. The waitress didn’t seem to notice. She walked away, hips swaying.

“Want me to break her hand?” Killian muttered.

“Not yet,” Bea said lightly. “Let’s see how this plays out.”

The waitress returned with their drinks, setting them down with exaggerated care. She pulled out a small notepad and pen, her smile back in place. “Are we ready to order?”

Dimitri ordered first. Then Killian. Then Nico.

The waitress wrote everything down with practiced efficiency, her attention focused entirely on the men. Then she turned to Bea.

Her smile turned sharp. Condescending. “We have a very delicious salad, would you like that ma’am?” The table went silent.

Killian’s hand froze halfway to his glass. Nico’s eyes went wide. Dimitri’s gaze snapped to the waitress, his expression darkening like a storm rolling in.

But Bea just smiled. Slow. Predatory. Dangerous.

“Oh no,” Bea said, her voice sweet as honey. “I’ll take the biggest steak you have. Sixteen ounces, if you’ve got it. Medium rare. With a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli.”

The waitress blinked, clearly thrown, but Bea wasn’t done.

She reached over and placed her hand on Dimitri’s chest, her fingers splayed across the expensive fabric of his shirt.

Then she dragged her hand down, slowly, deliberately, over the hard planes of his stomach, her eyes locked on the waitress the entire time.

“I have to keep up my strength,” Bea said, her smile widening. “With these three fucking me morning, noon, and night, a girl has to make sure she has enough energy. They can do such wicked things to my body.” She paused, letting the words hang in the air. “Isn’t that right, boys?”

Killian’s response was immediate. “Hell yes.”

Nico stared at Bea like she’d just set the entire restaurant on fire. His voice came out rough, reverent. “Yes, ma’am.”

Bea bit her lip, her smile turning wicked.

Dimitri reached up and grabbed her chin, turning her face toward him. He kissed her, slow, possessive, claiming her mouth in front of the entire restaurant. When he pulled back, his blue eyes were blazing.

“That’s right sweetheart.” He said. Then, without looking at the waitress, Dimitri spoke again.

His voice was low, cold, and absolutely lethal.

“If you ever disrespect our woman again, I’ll make sure you’re not only fired, but I’ll put your name on a list that will follow you for the rest of your miserable life. You understand me?”

The waitress went pale. Her hands trembled as she clutched her notepad. “I-I’m so sorry,” she stammered. “I didn’t mean-”

“Get our food,” Dimitri said flatly. “And don’t come back to this table unless you’re bringing it.”

The waitress nodded frantically and practically ran toward the kitchen. The moment she was gone, Bea let out a breath, a smirk spreading across her face.

Killian was grinning like a wolf. “That was the third hottest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Nico was still staring at her, his dark eyes burning with something that looked a lot like worship. “You’re incredible.”

Dimitri’s hand slid to the back of Bea’s neck, his thumb brushing the sensitive skin just below her ear. “You’re ours,” he said quietly. “And everyone in this fucking city is going to know it.”

Bea’s heart pounded in her chest.

She looked at the three of them. Dimitri with his possessive intensity, Killian with his feral grin, Nico with his quiet obsession.

These men, these violent, possessive and obsessive men…

and they just put down a claim on her. She felt as though nothing nor no one could tear them apart.

God help anyone who tried to come between them now.

“Good. Because I’m not sharing, and anyone stupid enough to try will learn that lesson the hard way. ”
