Greg fastened his pants when we got out of the car so they wouldn't fall down.

He didn't bother doing up his belt. He wrapped his arm around my waist, and we walked up the path to his apartment together.

He lived in a smaller block than I did, so we took the stairs to the upper level.

He opened the door without taking the key out.

I thought it strange that he would leave the place unlocked, but before I could mention it, I noticed that faint light from the TV flickering in the lounge.

Just as I was about to ask what was going on, I saw Reid sitting on the couch.

My heart stopped.

Reid turned the TV off and nodded at me. Then he rose and walked toward Greg.

What was this? Was Reid some kind of psycho and had followed me? Was he here to fight Greg because he wasn't as laidback as I thought? I glanced toward the door, wondering if I should run or call the cops.

"Good to see you again man," Reid said. He and Greg slapped hands then bumped their chests against each other, each of them leaning to the side so it was like a brief hug to show respect and affection without indulging in any intimacy.

"Missed you last week. The other team was pretty fast."

"I knew you guys were old and slow." Greg grinned.

Reid wore a sour look on his face and looked pained.

I did the mental math.

"Wait ... Greg ... you're the guy on Reid's team? The one who wasn't there last week?"

"Turns out it's a small world," Reid said.

"How long have you known?" I asked.

"The other day you mentioned Greg's name. I asked him if he'd been seeing you. Turns out, we had more in common than we thought," Reid said.

Greg laughed and nodded. "We sure do."

The two men's gazes both fell upon me. Was this really happening?

"Just so I'm clear here, are we all into this?" I asked.

Reid and Greg looked at each other then nodded.

"I'm up for a little two on one action," Greg said.

Reid snorted and rubbed his hands together.

I stared at them both. My heart fluttered, and my lips parted. I arched an eyebrow and tilted my head to the side before approaching them both.

"Well then, let the game begin," I said.
