Prologue
Alex Rose has agreed to play Callum O’Leary’s game: win seven challenges of his choosing and walk away with a million dollars. Twenty-nine women have tried before her. None have won.
The catch? Every time Alex loses a game, she has to submit to one of Callum’s punishments. His punishments escalate, which is why no woman has ever won Callum’s game.
Callum doesn’t expect any woman to win, let alone Alex.
His desires are dark and twisted, which is why he plays these games.
As a self-made millionaire, Callum doesn’t need to entice women to go out with him.
They already throw themselves at him. He plays these games though, because it’s the only way for him to really get what he wants.
Which is to push women to their breaking points.
So far, Alex and Callum have both won two games.
Callum won the last game (blitz chess). They had a picnic afterwards and Callum, surprisingly, opened up about some personal things.
For a second, Alex sensed a real connection between them.
The moment was fleeting, though, because as soon as Callum started feeling vulnerable, he shut things down, and subjected Alex to a brutal second punishment.
Callum told Alex to go down on him while he took a long conference call.
Alex turned things around on Callum by teasing him right up until the edge, and then stopping abruptly.
Callum was furious.
He subjected Alex to a taste of her own medicine by tying her to the back of his couch and edging her for an hour. Then he untied her, called her an Uber, and sent her home with a single rule:
Under no conditions are you allowed to touch yourself until I see you next.
Alex had no intention of following it. Immediately after being sent home, she fired up her computer and was frustrated to find out Callum had set up adult content blockers.
She texted him immediately, and he offered to remove the filters… on one condition.
Alex went over to Callum’s and fulfilled the condition. Afterwards, Callum sent Alex home with a new rule: text me every time you want to touch yourself.
So far, Alex has been following it. She’s more turned on than she’s ever been in her life.
She’s also falling for Callum. Hard.
Tonight, Callum picks the game.
The stakes feel different now.
The million dollars still matters, in theory.
But something else is starting to matter more.
