Chapter Two — Alex

I keep replaying the last few nights in my mind.

The feeling of him pushing me against the door, picking me up, throwing me onto the bed, and then fucking me two nights ago.

And then, him fucking me yesterday while I gave the stripper oral sex.

Him pinning me down, filling me up. I shiver as the explicit images replay like a montage in my head.

I feel like I’m on cloud nine. I’m sore, but I feel like I’m glowing. It sounds cheesy, but it’s true.

I always thought women who said stuff like that were exaggerating, but now I know that at least some women were telling the truth. It’s hard to focus on anything. All I can think about is him.

He’s not responding to my text, though, which is weird. Maybe he’s just busy, I think to myself. But still, there’s a nagging feeling in the back of my head. Something’s wrong. I don’t want to be pessimistic, but a woman’s intuition is never wrong.

I send him a sexy picture of me in a low-cut dress.

He leaves me on read.

I wait ten minutes. Then an hour. Then another hour.

And that’s when I know.

Something is seriously wrong.

I start to panic, brainstorming how to fix this.

More than anything, I feel like I need to see him, and I need to see him now.

Is it crazy if I show up to his office unannounced?

Maybe it is, but frankly, I don’t really care.

I’m doing it.
