Chp 13- Whispers of a New beginning
Ignore the mistakes ????
Koo, a pretty little bride, was sitting in her husband's room with her veil down, covering her face. She was nervous. She didn’t know what was about to happen, but she was ready, ready for whatever would come in her life, ready to face all the challenges.
But before all that, she asked herself: was she ready to give all her love to her husband?
Was she brave enough to even face him, that cold-faced man whom she barely knew?
Her entire world would now revolve around him and his family.
Was she even worthy of that? She questioned herself.
Just when she was drowned in her train of thoughts, a knock on the door pulled her out, she made her dress proper and adjusted the veil.
"Come in," she said in a small, nervous voice.
The door cracked open and Jihyo, along with Yoona and Jimin, walked inside.
Some workers also entered with Kook's luggage and the wedding gifts brought by the guests.
"Here keep it there" jimin said to the workers, they nodded and kept all the things at the corner of the room, jihyo smiled looking at the little elder bride of the house, her taehyung's wife, her taehyung is finally married now.
Jihyo walked forward and sat in front of Koo, then gently pulled her veil up. They all gasped at how beautiful she looked, too pretty.
"Maa, I think elder brother will fall in love as soon as he walks inside the room" she joked, but she meant it
Koo bit her lip and looked down shyly.
Jihyo smacked yoona's arm lightly
"Hey!, don't tease my bahu like that"
"Waaa!!, after the daughter-in-law came, you forgot your daughter." She said jokingly, jimin smiled and sat on the other side of kook.
"You look really beautiful bhabhi!, may no evil eyes fall on you"
Jimin said taking some kajal from her eye and pasting it under kook's ear.
"Bahu, from now onwards you'll be the most important part of the family, cause you're the elder bahu, there will be many responsibilities bestowed on you, but never ever feel yourself alone in this house, I'm always there with you-"
"Me too, I'll also be there for my beautiful bhabhi"
"And me too, bhabhi, whenever you need any help just remember me, I'll come in front of you like a Genie"
Koo’s eyes filled with tears at receiving so much love from her in-laws.
Jihyo frowned as she worriedly cupped kook's cheeks
"My bahu, what happened?, why are you crying huh?"
Kook shook her head crying, jimin and yoona glanced at her worriedly
"Bhabhi, please don't cry, or your makeup will get ruined"
Yoona said a little jokingly trying to make her laugh a little, and she quite got succeeded too, koo stopped crying and smiled a little at her words.
"Finally, a smile, now tell me, why were you crying?"
Jihyo asked softly wiping his tears away gently.
"You all are so loving, i never thought I'd get a loving mother-in-law, that's why I got a little emotional"
"Omo, my sweet little bahu, your mother-in-law will always be there with you, and not just me, yoona, jimin, eunchae, and many more people are there for you, you can come to use whenever you're in trouble or in need"
Koo nodded at her words still looking down.
Suddenly a worker knocked on the door.
"Ma'am, elder boss said, he's tired and he wants to sleep"
Jihyo nodded at him and said
"Yeah we're going"
All the three got up
"Yeah by the way, your luggage is here, all your clothes ,everything are here, but still if you need anything you can tell me or your husband hmm?"
Jihyo said softly caressing her head and kook nodded
"There are gifts too, open them whenever you want, and yeah pull your veil down he's coming, don't be nervous in front of him hmm?"
Jihyo said pulling her veil down and koo nodded biting her lips already quite nervous
Yoona being the mischievous one said
"Enjoy bhabhi" and koo become red, jihyo smacked her arms and pulled her out of the room and jimin walked behind them
The room was silent again, only koo's breathing can be heard, she was fidgeting with her fingers, biting her lips nervously, that's when she heard footsteps walking inside the room and the sound of the door being closed.
Taehyung who was tired from performing all the customs and rituals just wanted to sleep now, but his mother and sisters were inside his room, near his little bride, he smiled inside his head thinking about his bride but hurriedly shook the thought of her, soon when they saw them coming out he walked inside his room, it was already 11 pm, the people in the house was preparing to sleep, and some were already asleep.
He quietly slipped in his room and locked the door behind him he saw his little bride sitting in between the bed with her veil down, fidgeting with her fingers.
Taehyung being a tough, cold man fought his inner self to maintain his personality, cause one side, his heart was saying to walk towards his little bride, pull her veil up, and see her beautiful face and embrace her in his arms..
... But his mind was saying quite the opposite, his mind said to maintain his tough self, he's a man who had built a wall around his heart for so many years, and it shouldn't melt for anyone.
But despite his mind saying, tae walked towards the bed and sat infront of his little bride, his eyes were fixed on her,
He could see her fidgeting fingers suddenly freeze, could see how tightly she was gripping her hands.
He sighed. His hand hovered above her veil, but he hesitated.
What if he made her uncomfortable? What if she wasn’t ready to face him yet?
What if his cold demeanor scared her? She was young, beautiful, radiant…
and he…a man in his early thirty, he never in his life thinks low of himself but suddenly tonight he thinks low of himself.
"Jungkook" Tae called out in his deep, cold yet soft voice.
Koo bit her lips hard under the veil and said with her trembling lips
"Y-yes?"
"Can I pull your veil up?"
Koo's breathe hitched yet she nodded, tae seeing her nod slowly held the hem of her veil and pulled it away from her head, her soft face, trembling lips, that small bindi on her forehead all were like a heavenly view for tae, kook's head was down, she still had her lower lip in her mouth.
"You're beautiful " tae said in his rough firm voice, trying to be soft for the first time in his life for someone.
Koo's cheeks got red, but not more than the vermillion resting in her hair parting, making her look like a living goddess. Tae finds it hard to take his eyes off from here yet he stood up
He removed something from his pocket, a box and forwarded it towards koo
"Here, open it"
Jungkook hesitantly looked up at her husband's eyes and then immediately looked down at the box forwarded towards her.
"W..what i..is this?"
"A gift from me, Your wedding night gift, take it" tae said in his rough deep voice, koo with shaking hands took the box and opened it only to gasp at the jewels kept inside the box, beautiful necklace, a pair of earings,and a maang tika, it was all of diamond, her fingers trembled as she gently touched the necklace
"I..it's beautiful"
Tae nodded as he got up from the bed
"Go and change your dress, I have to sleep" tae said a bit coldly, but he didn't want to sound rude so he added
"You also can't sleep in this heavy dress, wear something light"
he said walking towards his closet area, koo nodded at his words and adjusted the pallu over her head and slid down from the bed carefully and headed towards his luggage.
Koo felt awkward bending down to take her clothes from the luggage, so she tried to lift it onto the bed.
But since she was small, she couldn’t even move the heavy suitcase.
She sighed being defeated, that's when a hand came out of nowhere and grasped the handle of the luggage and picked it up with his strong arms and kept it on the bed, koo was just looking at her husband who was now half naked, his muscles flexing as he picked up the luggage, she shyly looked down not having the courage to look at the naked man before
"here, remove your dress now"
koo nodded, as she walked towards the bed and reached down to open the luggage and remove her nightsuit.
It was a kurti and plazo, with a nice design on the clothes and embroidery.
Her red bangles clicked as she reached to close the luggage she bent forward a little, her wedding saree slipped revealing her milky waist a little.
Tae who was standing behind waiting patiently for her to finish so he could place the luggage back at its place, crossed his arms over her naked chest, but then his breath hitched when he saw his wife's slim milky waist by accident, he gulped hard and averted his gaze to the other side.
Koo silently backed away taking her clothes in her hand and tae sensing this walked forward and held the luggage again in his strong hands and placed it back on its previous place, he then turned to kook.
"You can go and wash first" he said in his cold rough voice.kook looked down and nodded and padded towards the bathroom holding her clothes near her chest and disappeared inside the bathroom.
Tae roughly ruffled his hair back, his breath heavy as he thinks about that waist, he then walked towards his closet and removed his night clothes, and patiently sat on the bed waiting for his wife to finish washing up, he laid down on the bed his legs hanging down on the floor
He closed his eyes, and he didn't know when he fell asleep.
Koo who came out wearing her night clothes and her hair into a bun, with her hairline glistening beautifully with the vermillion powder marked on it, her nuptial chain wrapped around her neck, added more glamour to her beauty, she is complete now.
As she walked out she looked at her man sleeping on the bed with his legs hanging down, she chuckled slightly covering her mouth, she folded her wedding saree and kept it inside the laundry basket and walked towards her husband.
Koo looked at him and bit her lips.
"He's sleeping so peacefully,...should I wake him up?" She thought.
"B..but what should I call him?"
She leaned slightly keeping her palm hesitantly on his arms and shaking him a little
"Jii....please get up...you should wash yourself ..... H..hubby...."
Tae immediately opened his eyes scaring koo, she backed away instantly. Tae got up he didn't even look at koo as he picked up his clothes and walked inside the bathroom silently.
Koo who was scared before now stood watching her husband with a confused face.
"W..what happened to him?, why did he react like that?"
Koo shook her head and stood in front of the mirror catching her glance in the mirror, she was shining like a moon, so beautiful. She gently touched her nuptial chain and smiled
" Finally....I'm married.... May god always bless us with good fortune"
She silently prayed before going to the bed laying down on the right side of the bed.
Meanwhile...
Tae stood up and walked towards the bathroom holding his clothes as soon as he reached inside he took a relief breath he watched himself in the mirror and only one word was ringing in his mind now
Tae leaned down and washed his face roughly.
"Don't get too attached taehyung, take some time, be gentle with her, you're not living alone now, she'll be there beside me in my every step, take your steps cautiously and don't hurt her with your cold behaviour."
He warned himself as he took a bath and wore his clothes and came out only to find his wife sleeping on his side of the bed, but he didn't mind, all he was thinking now was about the fragile body sleeping on his bed right now, she looks so small, so petite but curvy at the right places.
For the first time it felt right, right to see his wife on his bed, like she was his, and yes she is. But still it gave peace to taehyung's heart.
He walked towards the bed and laid on the left side of the bed staring at his wife's back he pulled the blanket up to cover himself as well as his wife.
He stared at her back for a minute and then laid straight with his arm flexing under his head.
He stared at the ceiling, he looked at his side and saw his wife's hair which was tied in a bun, surely it would hurt her, so he gently removed the clutcher and slowly straightened her hair on the bed.
"Her hair smells nice"
He sniffed on her long hair before closing his eyes and slipping in deep sleep after a long time.
