Chapter 4 #2
She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, parting her lips and deepening the kiss.
When they broke away for air, his lips brushed her cheek. “I’ve been wanting to do that since you stepped off that train Friday afternoon.”
The two of them had stolen at least a hundred too short, too quick, too unsatisfying secret kisses over the course of the weekend, none of them coming close to the sort of intimacy she longed for with him.
“Missed you,” she murmured against his lips when they began kissing again. Perhaps that was a silly thing to say considering they hadn’t known each other long, but she had felt the distance between them intensely after he left Baltimore.
Andi had never known true love. Sure, she’d felt infatuation and affection and plenty of lust in her twenty-six years, but love had always eluded her.
For the same reason most things did.
There simply weren’t enough hours in the day.
Dates were few and far between and while she’d never given up the hope of finding someone and falling passionately in love, lately, she’d started wondering if it would simply be easier to settle for someone she liked, for something more akin to companionship than a real relationship.
She’d dated plenty of guys who were nice enough, though they didn’t set her world on fire or make her heart race.
After so many years of looking for and not finding love, she had seriously considered cutting her losses and lowering the bar.
Now that she’d met Joel, she could see how stupid that thought was.
How on earth could she settle for anything less than…God…than this?
This dizzy, giddy, overwhelmingly incredible feeling.
“I missed you too,” he said, his words making her far-too-happy. “I know I said we’d talk, but how about we table that. Maybe we could chat during our midnight snack?” he asked with a wicked grin.
She didn’t respond to that with words. Instead, she grasped his hand, leading him to the master bedroom. The maid had come through, changing the sheets on the king-sized bed per her request.
Yeah.
She might have been hoping tonight would end exactly like this.
Now that Joel had encouraged her to start dreaming big, she didn’t seem able to stop.
Andi led him to the side of the bed, then turned to face him.
“You are so beautiful,” he murmured, cupping her chin with one hand.
Her cheeks heated, no doubt flushing bright red. Compliments like that were few and far between in her life.
“I’m so glad your limo got a flat tire.”
They laughed softly together, and then, the words fell away, replaced by actions that were way more meaningful and important than anything they might say to one another.
Joel slowly undressed her, kissing each part of revealed skin. Once she was naked, she returned the favor, stripping him out of his clothing…with a bit more haste.
While Joel seemed intent on savoring the moment, Andi couldn’t find it in her to slow down. It had been nearly two years since she’d slept with a man, and that last encounter had been nothing to write home about.
Once they were naked, Joel pulled back the duvet and sheets, placing a firm hand on her back as he guided her onto the mattress.
He followed her, pressing her to her back as he came over her, caging her beneath him. He bent his head lower, kissing her again, his body flush against hers.
His hard cock brushed against her stomach, driving her arousal even higher.
After several minutes, she turned her head away, panting for air. “Please,” she gasped. “I need more. Need you.”
“You have me,” he murmured, his lips next to her ear. “You’ll always have me.”
That felt like a very serious, very heavy proclamation, but it also felt sincere and true.
She placed a kiss on his shoulder as he shifted, leaning over the bed to grab his wallet from his pants. When he produced a condom, she quickly took it from him, tearing the wrapper open with her teeth as his eyes darkened with lust.
He hissed when she reached between them, unrolling it onto his very long, very thick cock.
“So big,” she whispered.
He smiled, taking her words as a compliment.
She didn’t have the heart to tell him that the primary emotion behind that observation was anxiety.
He was, by far, the most well-endowed man she’d ever slept with.
Part of her feared he wouldn’t fit and the other half was worried he would… and it would hurt.
“We’ll go slow,” he said, once she’d fully covered him with the condom.
“You really are going to have to explain that mind reading ability of yours,” she said.
Joel laughed softly. “That ability only works with you. You wear your emotions on your face and because I can’t ever seem to look away from you, I catch it all.”
“I like it when you look at me.”
He kissed her again.
It was his turn to groan when she wrapped her hands around his cock, guiding him to her pussy.
He drew his face back just far enough that their gazes connected as he slowly slid inside her.
Once he was fully seated, he kissed her again, just a glancing buss before—finally—his patience faded away too.
His thrusts were slow and steady at the beginning, but that quickly changed, as he took her harder, faster.
Andi urged him on every step of the way, demanding more. She’d never been this needy, this horny.
“God, Joel. Please! So good, so good,” she chanted over and over.
She was just on the verge of coming when Joel pulled out.
“No!” she cried.
Joel ignored her. “Flip over.”
Oh.
Ohhhhhh.
Andi turned so rapidly she got dizzy, coming up on her hands and knees. Within seconds, Joel was back inside her, driving out every last drop of the loneliness she’d felt for so many years.
