Chapter 132

"Yes," said Jayce.

Delia hesitated, saying, "But Sir Caldwell won't agree with that."

However, Jayce said, "Then let him move in and live with me."

Delia was stunned and didn't know what to say for a moment.

The atmosphere in the car was strange. Evie and Diana, sitting in the back seat, looked at each other and then at Victoria, who had her eyes closed.

Evie whispered, "I can't imagine what kind of scene will happen when she gets divorced."

Diana said, "I don't want to see it, afraid of being in trouble."

Evie was amused. But then, her mouth was pinched by Victoria, who was dazed and said vaguely, "I want Emma to be my goddaughter. Why don't you agree? Are you afraid that Emma likes me and not you?"

Hearing that, Evie blinked innocently, thinking, "I agree with that."

Along the way, Victoria said a lot of things, but it was all so vague that people couldn't hear it clearly.

The car stopped at Starlight Terrace. Diana was about to push open the door and get out but was stopped by Evie.

Evie said, "Wait a moment."

"What's wrong?" asked Diana, looking at Evie puzzledly.

Raising her hand and pointing ahead, Evie said, "Henry is there."

Diana took a look, her expression serious. She thought, "I can't get out of the car. If Henry sees me and Victoria together, her secret will be exposed."

Evie said, "I'll help her in alone."

With that, she got out of the car and was about to help Victoria, but someone pushed her away.

She was startled and then saw Jayce bending and picking up Victoria.

He looked steady when holding Victoria. Under the dim light of the street lamp, his handsome face was covered with a layer of warmt. He looked at the sleeping Victoria in his arms without blinking, and his eyes seemed to be softened.

Seeing this scene, Delia hesitated for a moment and stepped forward, saying, "Mr. Caldwell, let me do it. If Mr. Harrison sees it, he will be angry."

"Whatever," said Jayce expressionlessly. Then, he looked at Evie, asking, "Which floor does she live on?"

After being stunned for a moment, Evie quickly pointed the way, saying, "It's over there."

She walked in front to lead the way, and Jayce followed behind her, holding Victoria.

Just then, there was a loud sound of a car door closing.

When Jayce and the others reached the door of the apartment building, Henry said coldly, "Give her to me."

Evie suddenly shuddered, and there was a hint of fear in her eyes. Henry was striding towards them. He looked angry, and his eyes were staring at Jayce with coldness.

Jayce didn't turn around but just walked straight inside as if Henry's powerful aura did not affect him.

Evie was scared and was about to say something. But Henry didn't even look at her and had already chased Jayce in.

Delia followed Jayce nervously and whispered, "Mr. Caldwell, you should put Mrs. Harrison down. Mr. Harrison is furious."

"Press the elevator button," said Jayce calmly.

Delia was highly anxious. But she could not disobey Jayce's order and could only reach out and do as she was told.

Just then, Henry had caught up and grabbed Jayce's shoulder. "I told you to give her to me."

Only then did Jayce turn around, glancing at Henry, and say, "Ask her if she is willing to go with you."

Victoria lay drunkenly in Jayce's arms as if she had no perception of the outside world. Only her lips moved every now and then as if she were mumbling something.

Henry looked at this scene and felt extremely uncomfortable. He stepped forward and snatched Victoria back, saying, "She is my wife."

Feeling his arms empty, Jayce frowned and looked up at Henry coldly, "But you have to respect her opinion."

"Mr. Caldwell..." Delia was anxious. Just then, the elevator door opened.

Henry walked in, holding Victoria. Then, he turned around and glanced at Jayce, his voice cold. "That's a matter between us. What does it have to do with you?"

He then pressed the floor button, and the elevator door slowly closed, isolating Jayce's somewhat pale face outside.

"Mr. Caldwell, let's go back. Mrs. Harrison will be safe with Mr. Harrison," said Delia, looking at Jayce worriedly.

"Will she?" Jayce lowered his eyes, his thick eyelashes hiding the emotions in his eyes.

He thought, "If it's really safe, why would she want a divorce? Why could she hide so many things?"

Delia gritted her teeth, saying, "Mr. Caldwell, we should go back now."

Jayce turned to leave without saying anything.

Evie had been standing at the entrance of the apartment building. Seeing that Jayce had come out and Victoria was gone, she immediately understood what had happened.

"Thank you Mr. Caldwell," smiled Evie, then turned and left. Seeing that Diana had already called a taxi, she immediately opened the car door and got in.

"That's horrible." Evie patted her chest and said, "I was terrified when I saw Henry coming."

Diana frowned slightly, "It is a special period. I just hope there won't be any trouble."

However, Evie touched her chin, saying, "I think Mr. Caldwell is good."

Diana looked at her. "Don't think that way."

The elevator door opened slowly.

Glancing at Victoria in his arms, Henry said in a deep voice, "Open the door."

Victoria had fallen asleep.

Henry's face became even more gloomy, thinking, "Doesn't she have any sense of vigilance? Why doesn't she resist when others hug her? Will she also have no reaction when Jayce carries her in?"

The more Henry thought about it, the angrier he got.

Henry hugged her with one hand and held her finger, then unlocked the door and entered the room. The lights came on one by one, and he smelled a familiar fragrance in the air.

At that moment, Victoria , in his arms, suddenly struggled.

"I feel terrible," frowned Victoria uncomfortably, reaching out and tugging at her collar, and a feeling of nausea came over her.

Henry became serious and immediately strode towards the bathroom.

However, he had never been here and was not familiar with the layout. Before he could find the bathroom, Victoria had already vomited all over him.

He stiffened, very angry, and forced himself not to throw Victoria out.

Finally finding the bathroom, Henry put Victoria into the bathtub and took the shower, then adjusted the water temperature and poured it over her.

He couldn't stand the smell on her body, so he took off all her clothes. It was an hour later when he finished washing her.

Henry wrapped Victoria in a bath towel and threw her on the bed, then turned around to clean up himself.

Standing under the shower, Henry thought of the scene just now and laughed in anger.

He thought "When have I ever served anyone like this?"
