Chapter Thirteen #2
Elliot bobbed his head, chewing, stretching his tricep as he wandered back across the room.
Dustin tried not to notice his cheekbones, or the way his hair fell around his face as he tilted his neck to crack it.
When he reached the far wall, he turned, stretching both arms over his head so that his shirt rode up and Dustin glimpsed the top of his boxers and flat creases of his abs.
As Dustin looked away, Elliot pulled his arm across his chest again, and his eye found Dustin’s across the room. The look landed dark and heavy.
And suddenly, Dustin realized what was happening.
He’d been thirst-trapped.
There was nothing wrong with that shoulder; Rodriguez was just trying to get him to look at him.
Elliot held his gaze a moment, then turned away, and Dustin stared in disbelief.
Did he want something to happen again? And was he so bad at communicating that he thought the only way to make it happen was to invite Dustin up to his hotel room under the pretense of donuts and then strut around in front of him like a horny parrot?
Well…yeah. Probably.
Based on what he’d seen so far, Rodriguez was terrible at communicating.
He might never come right out and say he wanted anything from Dustin.
The kid who brushed off his own feelings as ‘dumb’?
He was obviously as confused as Dustin was, and he didn’t seem to have the language for it either.
Maybe he already knew he was gay. Maybe he’d been hiding it.
In which case, Dustin had to do this very, very carefully, because there might be all kinds of baggage that came along with that.
Hold on… Do what very carefully? He wasn’t going to engage with this.
Was he?
His stomach flipped over.
Maybe? Why did he want to? What the fuck was going on here?
Rodriguez had his back to him, stretching his tricep. Steeling himself with a breath, Dustin said, “Do you want me to take a look at it?”
Rodriguez looked nervously over his shoulder and shrugged. “I don’t know.”
“I need you to say out loud if you do.”
Elliot stared at him across the room. He looked like the last thing in the world he wanted to do was admit that he wanted another man to touch him.
“You just have to say yes or no,” said Dustin. His voice came out very low and quiet.
Elliot whispered, “Yes.”
Dustin’s heart kicked in his throat. He put out his hand. “Come here.”
Slowly, Elliot came. He stopped in front of where Dustin sat on the edge of the table, just out of reach. Dustin opened his knees. “All the way.”
Elliot hesitated, then stepped between his thighs. The smell of soap and deodorant and something sharp under that came with him. Dustin pulled him in by the hip and managed to keep his voice level.
“Turn around.”
Keeping his eyes down, Elliot did. Dustin settled his hands on his shoulders and he flinched.
“Relax,” said Dustin. Like he’d done this before. Like everything inside him wasn’t actively screaming.
He heard Elliot take a breath, and caught his own breath at the top of the inhale, and they exhaled together. Dustin squeezed. He pressed his thumbs in slowly and Elliot’s head dropped forward.
“Okay?”
Elliot nodded.
“Your shoulder doesn’t actually hurt, does it?”
Elliot hesitated. Then shook his head.
Dustin began to work his shoulders. It was nice.
The skin under his palms was smooth, and the muscle beneath it was firm.
He made his way to Elliot’s neck, then down his spine, feeling the softness of his t-shirt and the warmth of him through it.
At one point Elliot did a tiny little sigh, and that was nice too.
He worked back to the tops of his shoulders, then smoothed out and down the sides of his arms with his palms.
“Can I kiss you?” he said.
Elliot went very still. Then nodded. Dustin leaned in and pressed his mouth to the back of his neck, and Elliot sucked in a breath, and when Dustin pulled away, he saw goosebumps all the way to the tips of Elliot’s fingers.
He leaned in and did it again. Elliot tilted his head without a word, and Dustin moved his lips to the skin he’d made available and kissed him again. Then again. Carefully. Testing.
Elliot’s head tipped as Dustin turned him by the hips, kissing up the side of his neck. His fingertips landed tentatively on Dustin’s thighs and he sighed as Dustin’s mouth met his. Dustin pulled him closer and gently deepened the kiss.
They kissed like that for a long time – Elliot standing between his knees with his fingers inching carefully along Dustin’s thighs toward his hips, Dustin’s hands sliding down, under the hem of his shirt, back up the sides of his bare ribs.
No rush. Just Elliot’s warm skin under his palms and the soft feel of his mouth.
The quiet sound of their breath, and the very loud sound of Dustin’s heart in his ears.
Elliot broke the kiss first. He stepped back, meeting Dustin’s eyes fiercely, then dropped to his knees.
“You don’t have to do that,” Dustin croaked.
Elliot looked up, eyes dark, lips pink and swollen. “I want to.”
Dustin helped him unbutton his jeans and get them off, then leaned back on his elbows on the table as Elliot went to his knees again.
He pulled Dustin’s boxers down slowly, watching the bulge at the front closely, like he was very interested in seeing it pop out.
When it did, his eyes went wide. He stared at it, then reached out and stroked it once, then leaned in and took the head between his lips.
Dustin’s mouth dropped open and nothing – not even a breath – came out of it.
Elliot sucked deep, cheeks hollowing, and Dustin’s hips pushed up to meet him as he took him all the way down.
“Jesus.”
Rodriguez went at it like he was trying one-up Dustin even at this.
Which was fine. Better than fine. It was fucking awesome.
His mouth was hot, eager, a little clumsy – and even with teeth and zero finesse, it was the best head Dustin had had in his life, because Elliot Rodriguez was doing it, and something about that was filthy and strange and unbelievable.
He grit his teeth and told himself he was at least going to hold out longer than Rodriguez had, and was getting dangerously close to failing that challenge when Rodriguez suddenly stopped.
Dustin gasped and stammered something like, “No, why?!”
“I want to try something,” he said.
“What–?”
“I wanna put a donut on it.”
Dustin choked on a laugh, breathless. “Fuck off.”
“Can I?”
“You’re not serious.”
But the way Elliot was looking up at him with a half-innocent, half-wicked gleam in his eye, made him look dead serious.
“Why?” said Dustin.
Elliot shrugged, shaking his head. “I don’t know.” His eyes went to Dustin’s cock, gleaming and sticking straight up between them. “It’s there. It’s…pointy. I just wanna try it.”
