E ver since Charles smashed that camera, I’ve been on edge. His threat was empty. He couldn’t get the job done before. He sure as shit can’t do it now. He’s weak and always has been. I admit, the Bastards have grown under his leadership. But they’ll be thriving under mine.

I take a long drag from my cigarette, patiently waiting for Davina. Well, not patiently but I am waiting.

She doesn’t come outside though. Not tonight. The little blonde I released is who brings the trash out, her old man in tow. I almost got him. He has the burn scars on his arms as proof.

I could kill them both now. It does cross my mind. But I like the fact they’ve come off lockdown. If I take another one of them out now, they’ll shut down again and that only makes my job more difficult.

Besides, I made a change in my plans. I don’t want to destroy the Bastards. I want to lead them the way I was always meant to and with Davina by my side.

It’s my brother I want to destroy. What better way to do that than to take everything from him the way he did me?
