Wrath Chapter 10
I’d been wanting to get this meeting over with.
For some reason, I had dreaded it. I wasn’t sure if it was due to how Psycho acted when they were at our compound or what.
I was stressed about planning how to ensure enough protection for Jalisa for her outing to tease Killer out of hiding.
Despite the assistance the other clubs gladly offered, I was still wary. What if it wasn’t enough?
The spreading of the news that I had an old lady was fun.
The disbelief on some people’s faces was the best. My call with the presidents of the various clubs we were friends with had been hilarious.
I’d asked them to have a video call with me to discuss a problem I had.
Of course, Agony knew what it was, but he didn’t say a word.
It had been relatively normal as I explained what happened and why a Hell’s Fiends princess was in our territory.
They’d been surprised about Dylan’s background, but agreed that it was probably wise that I hadn’t disclosed his connection until he had time to prove himself.
And they hated the thought of a Black Outlaws chapter causing trouble again.
So I had their support just by telling them that.
However, when I dropped the big bomb on them and told the guys I’d claimed the princess as my old lady, making the Fiends technically family, they’d been struck dumb.
The looks they gave me ran the gamut. Then they found their voices, and all started to speak at once.
Eventually, they ran out of air, and I was able to explain.
All of them, except Jinx, had an old lady, so they knew how it was when you met the one for you.
The guys understood how it could hit you fast and hard.
They teased me if I was sure I wanted to tie myself to a woman whose dad was called Psycho.
I informed them I’d take the chance. They all congratulated me and said they couldn’t wait to meet her.
The days of having Jalisa staying with me at the house had been heaven and hell.
It was heaven to hold and kiss her whenever the mood struck.
I loved waking up to her next to me and the smell of her on my sheets.
The sound of her voice in the house and her laughter made it feel like a proper home.
The hell part was keeping it to just kissing.
I was going slow. I didn’t want to scare her off.
However, it was hard, and I was in a perpetual state of arousal.
It went smoothly despite my tension about the meeting with the Fiends tonight. Hanging with the Fiends had been more comfortable than I’d imagined. Psycho hadn’t been overly talkative, but he was cordial. As time passed, I was more at ease.
Presently, I was sitting talking to Cougar.
We were swapping stories about what it was like to be a legacy and have your dad be the club president.
I had eight years on him, but our experiences in many ways were identical.
When you were a legacy, it was hard to overcome your father’s reputation or image to get others to see you for yourself.
I was enjoying the conversation. Jalisa was off chatting with the ladies.
They were laughing and having a great time.
All my guys appeared to be doing the same.
Dad was in a deep conversation with Panther.
I’d gotten a message from Agony asking if we were okay a while ago.
I informed him we were okay and his men were free to return to our compound for the night.
I thanked him again for what they did. I did it because Panther insisted they’d escort us back when we were ready.
He reasoned it wasn’t right or fair to have them hanging out all night, and I agreed.
I thought we’d be here for a very short while.
Abruptly, my attention was snagged away from Cougar by a redhead sitting on the table next to me.
I hadn’t noticed anyone else had entered the clubhouse.
One look told me she was either a club bunny or a hang-around.
Almost every club had them. Some might not have the bunnies, but they had the other unless every single guy was taken.
She gave me a smile that was supposed to make me fall under her spell.
It didn’t. She was a picture I’d seen thousands of times.
Her overdone makeup, fake tan, hair, and barely there clothing with her tits popping out as she leaned toward me was a dull and tired rerun.
Cougar’s mouth cracked open, but then he shut it.
“Hello, hot stuff. It looks like you could use some company. I’m Pebbles. Let me show you how I can rock your world,” she said huskily.
Her Pebbles remark made sense of her hair and the excuse for the skirt she wore. It reminded me of Pebbles from the cartoon.
“No, thank you,” I said politely yet firmly.
Immediately, she added to her offer. “Oh, don’t say no. I promise you, you won’t regret it. Ask Cougar.” She winked at him.
“Pebs, I suggest you go while you can,” Cougar said. He seemed to be fighting not to laugh.
“What does that mean? Are you jealous? You can both have me if you want,” she cooed.
“Nope, just don’t want bloodshed tonight, but it’s your funeral,” he said.
I understood why when Jalisa squeezed between Pebbles and me, who gave her a startled look.
“Oh, hi, Jae, I didn’t know you were home. I heard you were away visiting someone,” Pebbles said nicely.
“I was. And I know you didn’t. I guess you haven’t heard the news, either.”
“Uhm, what’s that?”
“The man you’re trying to rock his world, the sexy, handsome president, is taken. I suggest you leave before his old lady gets pissed and takes exception. You don’t want that,” Jalisa said sweetly.
Pebbles scanned the room. Her gaze fell on Betty, and her eyes widened. Betty was the only woman in the room whom this woman didn’t recognize. “You mean that woman over there?” she asked in outrage. I didn’t know why. Betty was still very attractive and looked younger than her age.
“No, her old man is over there, so don’t go near him either.”
“Then where is she?” Pebbles asked.
Suddenly, Jalisa straddled my lap. My hands automatically came up to cup her ass. A hand ran up my chest, and then her warm breath ran across my lips for a second before she kissed me. I became instantly lost in her sweet, hot mouth.
Vaguely, I heard catcalls and shouts. I had no idea how long we kissed before Jalisa raised her head.
Her eyes burned with desire. Then, her eyes landed on Pebbles.
I’d forgotten all about her. The woman was staring at us with her mouth open, and her eyes were huge.
There was apparent disbelief written on her face.
My woman’s eyes narrowed. “She’s right here.
And if I ever hear of you or any other woman offering him sex or making suggestive remarks, giving him seductive glances, putting your tits in his face, or your asses anywhere near him, I’ll be less than happy.
You know what it means when I get upset with one of you for going after a man who’s off-limits.
You don’t need a reminder, do you?” Jalisa asked.
There was an undertone of menace to her voice.
I wouldn’t have thought it was possible if I hadn’t seen it, but it was proven that you could go pale even if you had a fake tan. Pebbles came to her feet like her ass was on fire. She put her hands up and pleaded.
“Please, I didn’t know, Jae! I swear, no one said you had a man. I heard there would be another club here tonight and that there would be a bunch of available men. I was told that the president would love company and that I was to show him a good time.”
“You were specifically told to show Wrath a good time? How did you know which one he was? I saw you come in, and you immediately zeroed in on him. You didn’t even take the time to search out the names and positions on cuts. You came straight to him,” Jalisa said suspiciously.
“I… it was a lucky guess,” Pebbles said weakly.
“Don’t lie to me. Tell me who told you that the Pagans would be here tonight and that you should show their president a good time. How did you know which one was him?” Jalisa snapped.
I wanted to know the same thing, so I didn’t interrupt. My good mood evaporated. Cougar was sitting forward, frowning.
“Please, I can’t,” Pebbles whispered.
“Tell me, or we go outside,” Jalisa ordered.
That broke her. “I’m sorry, I am. I was told to bring as many women as I could round up.
That a new MC was coming, and they’d want to party.
I was told to make sure the president was happy.
I was shown a picture of him so I would know who he was.
I was told he liked to play hard to get, but to persist until he gave in and had sex with me.
It was a game he loved to play,” she said softly.
“And who told you to do that?” Cougar demanded.
Pebbles looked scared when she answered. “I’m sorry, Jae. You know I would never do it to a claimed man, especially to your man, if I knew. God, shit. It was Psycho. I had no idea you were his old lady,” Pebbles whimpered.
My momentary shock quickly morphed into outrage.
Jalisa’s reaction was faster and worse than mine.
She came flying off my lap and was moving across the common room before I had a chance to get to my feet.
Cougar stood and tried to comfort Pebbles, who was bawling her eyes out. She kept mumbling that she was dead.
“PSYCHO!” Jalisa bellowed as she crossed the room toward her dad. Psycho turned to watch her coming. I rushed after her. Those around us hushed and wore puzzled and worried expressions. My men were moving in to form a circle around Jalisa and me.
“Jae, what’re you yelling about?” Psycho asked calmly.
She reached him and got in his face. Well, as close as she could when he towered over her.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” she shouted.
