Jalisa Chapter 15 #2
He chuckled. “I know. He was shocked the first time she did that, but he liked it. He said he hated my mom but always wished he’d had more kids, even if they were with her.
He hoped that Hayes would be another kid, but Betty’s son detests all of us.
However, he’s added you, so that got him another.
And when Brae finds herself a man, hopefully, he’ll be brought into the family.
I don’t see her with someone like her brother. ”
“Well, I hope it’s soon, and he’s amazing like her. Alright, we’d better rejoin them.”
He gave me a peck on the lips before we went back to rejoin the fun. It was a family night despite the danger hanging over us.
???
It was Saturday. The weekend was here, and I wondered if Killer would make a move today or wait to see if I returned to Athens by the end of Sunday. This was causing me some anxiety. I didn’t want him to make a move against the Pagans or the Fiends due to his obsession with me.
I have kept busy these past few days since Braelyn came for a visit.
At the end of the night, she was escorted by four guys back to her place in Marietta.
She objected, but Wrath wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Loki, Pope, Ryder, and Chaos were her escorts.
They had no problems there or back. Before she left, we exchanged numbers and had been texting each other.
She was fun, and I enjoyed having a female friend.
It had been ages since I had any. Most I found only wanted to be my friend to get close to the Fiends.
I was glad it was the weekend for one reason.
It meant I had the bulk of the days with Wrath.
I shared him with his club but not with his work.
Yesterday, he visited Sacred Souls Scrap, their scrapyard, which Crusher and Shadow oversaw for the club.
The other business he visited was Soul Cutter.
That was their butcher shop. I loved the name and thought it was hysterical that Stitch managed it.
When I mentioned it to the medic, he grinned and said who else knew how to cut like him.
After a talk with Wrath, I thought I knew the names and who was responsible for what in the club.
Pagans Pub was Wrath and Chains’ baby. In addition to Sacred Souls Scrap and Soul Cutter, Souls’ Turf and Terrain was their landscaping business.
Nomad ran it with help from Fury when needed.
Refuge Roofing was the roofing company that Storm oversaw.
Heathen Heat & Air was the HVAC business Chaos managed with help from Forge.
Last was Resurrection Rides, a classic body shop.
Ryder was the head of it, with Rage backing him up.
All were successful businesses, but after church this week, they were adding another.
It seemed they finally got Fury to agree to open a tattoo shop.
I was told he’d been asked several times and always declined.
They were confident they could find the perfect place, and his work was great, so I had no doubt it would be a success.
I was surprised when Fury approached me yesterday and asked to see my character art.
I asked him how he knew about it, and he said Wrath told him to ask me.
I felt a little shy about showing him. He was such a great artist, but I did it.
He claimed he loved them and asked to see my other work.
When we were finished, he asked if I would consider designing tats.
I laughed, thinking he was joking, but he was dead serious.
I told him if he wanted me to try, all I needed was an idea of what he was looking for.
The worst he could say was that he wouldn’t use it.
My answer seemed to satisfy him. Later, I’d given Wrath mild hell for not warning me. He just shrugged and smiled.
With no way to leave the compound and everyone taking turns on guard duty and preparing for next weekend, the ladies decided to cook.
Betty spoke to Braelyn last night. She came to stay the weekend, giving us four to cook.
It was so much fun. We laughed and shared some favorite recipes.
The guys would sneak in to see what we were making and offer to taste-test it.
When that didn’t work, they resorted to rushing in and trying to steal a bite before we could chase them off.
Wrath’s guys made it clear that there could be no favoritism this time in Wrath’s favor.
He had to suffer like the rest. He protested and claimed cut privileges, but that went out the window when Rage and Panther tried to do the same due to Betty and Tonda.
Wrath pretended to sulk, which made everyone laugh.
We ate at six o’clock that evening. The men groaned and complained they’d been starving all day, so we watched as they inhaled the food.
There were plenty of words of praise and profuse thank yous.
The prospects were responsible for cleaning up.
I knew it was their job, but I sometimes felt bad for them.
Luckily, we ladies cleaned a lot as we went, so they weren’t left with dishes to the ceiling.
Hours later, I was in a mellow mood. Wrath had convinced me to have a few drinks.
He said constantly worrying the Black Outlaws would strike wasn’t the way to go.
There were rotations of the guys who were tasked with remaining alert to trouble, but we didn’t let the threat stop us from living.
I knew he was right. In the past, I was able to live by that philosophy.
I think it was different this time because I was to blame.
He told me to stop thinking that way when I told him that.
Killer was to blame, and he wouldn’t do anything this weekend.
Wrath sounded so confident, I gave in and had fun.
Around ten o’clock, I saw Storm speak to Wrath before leaving the clubhouse.
I thought nothing of it until Storm returned, and a handful of women were with him.
One look told me they were either bunnies, hangers, or both.
So far, I’d avoided seeing them when they came late at night to see the guys.
Typically, they came on Friday and Saturday nights unless one of the guys requested someone on another night, according to what Betty had informed me.
As they filed in, Tonda looked over at me.
“Have you talked with them yet?”
“No, I have not. This is the first time I’ve seen any. I need to speak to Wrath about it.”
“If you mean to put them on notice, you have my permission. I presume the same rules you implemented at the Fiends’ club. Are there any others I don’t know about?” he asked.
“A couple, but it’s nothing that they should object to. Are these all bunnies or a mix?” I asked.
“Three are bunnies, and three aren’t. Does it make a difference?” Wrath asked.
“No, not to me. They all should know and adhere to the rules,” I said.
“Agreed. Let me get their attention for you.” He went to stand, but I grabbed his hand.
“Let me watch and see what they do. I’d like to get a feel for them. Which ones are the bunnies?”
He pointed them out subtly. I remained seated next to him.
We were no longer at tables but on couches and regular chairs along a wall.
Cougar and Panther looked over at me and winked.
They drifted closer to us. The women were mingling with the Pagans and checking out the new men in the room.
Their smiles said they were hoping to have fun with them.
I was okay with it as long as they kept their hands off Wrath, Rage, and Panther. The others could have at it.
As expected, it wasn’t long before one made a beeline for Wrath. Undoubtedly, they’d had sex more than once before. I let that roll off me. He shifted in his chair. I knew he wasn’t comfortable.
“It’s fine, babe,” I whispered.
When she reached us, her smile was huge. She was a blonde about my age. She was comely and had a pretty smile. Her clothing wasn’t as non-existent, which was the case with the rest of them.
“Hi, Wrath, how’re you tonight?” she asked sweetly.
“Hi, Silk, I’m doing great. I see you came to entertain the guys. There are a few visitors with us. Have fun,” he said.
She glanced at me, Tonda, Betty, and Rage, and then saw Cougar and Panther. She nodded and said, “Hello, I’m Silk.”
“Hello, Silk,” the Fiends said along with me. Betty and Rage smiled at her.
“I hope I didn’t interrupt anything,” she said. Just this tiny interaction made me wonder why she was a bunny. She seemed too kind and almost shy to be one.
“You didn’t. You’ll be the first to be introduced. This is Panther. He’s the president of the Hell’s Fiends MC in Athens, and his son, Cougar. Tonda is Panther’s old lady.” The way her eyes widened, she knew who the Fiends were. Then Wrath reached over, took my hand, and smiled.
“And this beautiful lady right here is Jalisa. Her dad is a Fiend, and I’m proud to claim her as my old lady.” He lifted my hand to his mouth and kissed it. Silk’s eyes almost bugged out of her head. She flushed red and began to stutter.
“I-I’m s-so sorry! I didn’t mean any harm. I had n-no idea Wrath had an old lady. Oh God,” she moaned in mortification.
I gently pulled my hand away from Wrath’s hand, stood, and went to her. She shrank back.
“Silk, there’s no need to be embarrassed or upset.
You didn’t know, and you did nothing wrong.
I’m not stupid. I have no doubt you and Wrath have had sex before, probably many times.
That was in the past, and before he knew me.
I can hardly be mad about it. As long as you never offer him sex again, we should be fine. ”
She held up her hands and shook her head emphatically. “Oh, I won’t do that.”
