Chapter Six

~Georgie~

Watching Wyatt walk away last night was tough.

I wanted nothing more than to pull the words saying I couldn’t leave back in my mouth and beg him to take me home, but I meant what I said.

What if he changes his mind again? I don’t think I can handle that and besides, the owners of The Angry Cock have been good to me, gave me a job when no one else would and have treated me right.

Even Scarlett was surprised to find out just how friendly and protective they are when she came up to see me yesterday.

I thought we would spend the whole day hanging out like we used to, but she insisted on seeing the place I work and so we got dressed up and went to the bar.

She flirted with the bouncer, Thumper, but he’s married to a nice man and he wasn’t giving her a whole lot to work with beyond his general politeness.

We didn’t stay long, Scarlett once again complaining about not being able to find a man to handle her, so we ended up back at my little apartment for some pizza and a movie.

When the time came for her to drive back home, she didn’t want to go and I didn’t want her to leave, but we eventually managed a goodbye. Scarlett isn’t the only Landry I’ve heard from though. Wyatt texted me early yesterday.

Wyatt: Good morning, honey bee. Thanks for letting me know you got home safely. As much as I want to drive over and see you right now, I promised my baby sister she could have you all to herself. Have fun today and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Georgie: Thank you.

I stared at my lame reply for a good five minutes, but I didn’t know what else to say. When Wyatt showed up at my work the night before, I didn’t know what to think. When he explained what happened the night of my birthday, I almost didn’t believe him.

He’s so handsome and smart, and I didn’t think much of myself before, so his actually wanting to kiss me and even loving me was hard to grasp.

One look into his beautiful brown eyes showed me how wrong I was.

There was nothing but love and affection shining back at me, and the part of my heart that was broken months ago started to heal a little bit.

Believing Wyatt was also easier because I’ve changed a bit over the last few months.

One nice thing about having to rely on myself and no one else since I moved here is that I’ve come to realize that I’m actually pretty strong, resilient even.

Sure, sometimes I feel a little beaten down and I miss my family, but I still make it through the day.

Also, if the way some of the customers flirt with me is any indication, I’m not half bad looking either. I’ve embraced my curves a little more each day, even going so far as to wearing the shortest shorts I could find in order to up my tip game.

Even now as I pull on my uniform and get ready for another shift, I can take a look at myself in the mirror and kind of see what Wyatt means when he says I’m beautiful.

My hair is long and thick, my eyes are bright, and my curves are the kind some women would die for.

I may be more lumpy than not, but I like that it will give Wyatt something to hold on to when we’re together.

Thinking of Wyatt and me that way has me flushing, my skin turning hot and a light sweat breaking out over my brow. As much as he hurt me that night, my attraction to him never wavered. He’s still the most handsome man I have ever known, and seeing him again yesterday confirmed that.

I’m not even ashamed to admit that I came home last night and touched myself to the image of him, all dressed up in a button down and slacks, looking like all my dreams come true.

When I came, it was with his face and body in my mind and his name on my lips.

It wasn’t the first time I’ve gotten off while thinking of Wyatt, and it definitely won’t be the last.

Pushing those lustful thoughts aside, I finish getting ready for work, making sure to slip the bracelet Wyatt returned to me over my wrist. It’s the best present I’ve ever been given, and I’m so happy to have it back.

Once I’m finished, I take one last look in the mirror and when I’m confident in my look, I head out of the bedroom to grab my purse and keys.

The drive to work is short enough, and soon I’m parking my little sedan and heading inside through the employee entrance. After clocking in, I say a quick hello to some of the other girls as I tie on my apron and head out to start my shift.

As soon as I’m out the door to the bar, I almost run into a wall of man.

“Holy crap,” I exclaim, clutching my chest. When my eyes focus on who is in front of me, my mouth drops open.

It’s Wyatt. He’s dressed the same as he usually is in jeans, a t-shirt, and his cowboy hat, but he somehow looks even better than before.

Maybe it’s because the smile on his face looks a lot less joking and a lot more genuine.

Either way, he is one good looking man, a very tall man that I wouldn’t mind climbing right about now.

I feel my cheeks turn pink and Wyatt’s smile widens into a knowing grin. “Like what you see, honey bee.” I shrug a shoulder, my tongue too thick in my mouth to form words. He steps forward and gathers me into his arms and kisses the top of my head.

“For the record, you look hot as fuck and I’d love nothing more than to take you back home and show you everything I’ve been wanting to do to you for the last year.”

Yes, please, my virgin pussy screams out, but I manage to keep the words in my head.

My arms are loose at my side, but as soon as I feel Wyatt’s tighten around me, I raise them around and clutch onto him like he’s the last life raft on a sinking ship.

His body is big and hard next to mine, and I love it, knowing that even though I’m not small, he could still toss me around with almost no effort at all.

Being in his arms feels so right, but he could still change his mind. I believe that he loves me, but I’m not so sure he believes in himself or us enough not to back out of it again.

“I gotta get to work,” I mumble against his strong chest which starts to shake with a chuckle. “What are you doing here?” I ask, taking a step back and looking around at all the interested eyes of bar patrons and waitresses that are on the two of us.

“I told you I would see you today, that I was going to prove to you how serious I am about you,” he tells me as he sits down on a stool at a nearby high top table.

“I know you have to work, but I just want to be in the same space with you, maybe share a basket of French fries on your break while we catch up.”

He reaches over and grabs onto my hand, stroking the backs of my fingers.

“Please, don’t make me go, honey bee.” His expression is pained, but it lightens slightly when he tugs on my fingers and I go to him easily.

“Let me stay. I just want to be near you. It’s been so long and I’ve missed you so much. ”

It’s not like I was even planning on saying no anyway, but after that admission, denying him was off the table completely. “Of course you can stay. I can’t promise it won’t be boring for you though.” I reach up to touch him, but my hand drops when I’m less than sure of myself.

Wyatt frowns, grabs my hand and places it on his chest, right over his heart.

“Don’t you ever hesitate touching me again, Georgie.

I’m yours. My heart, my mind, my soul, and especially my body, just like you are mine.

You can touch me whenever, and wherever you want,” he says, his eyes darkening with lust.

“Alright,” I squeak out, my eyes wide. I have spent my teenage and adult years fantasizing about this man, but now that I have him I don’t know what to do with myself. “I better start my shift.”

Wyatt grins and nods, turning to his table. “I’ll be here.” Too taken aback with all this to say anything, I simply nod and wander over to my section and wait on my tables.

The first half of my shift goes by quickly.

The bar is busy, people bustling in an out all the time.

Every time my eyes find Wyatt’s table, I find him staring at me, his chin resting on his fist and a serene smile on his face.

It causes me to break out in a fierce blush each time.

I don’t think my cheeks have ever been as red as they are tonight.

On my break, Wyatt orders a basket of fries for us to snack on as he fills me in on everything that’s been happening around the ranch, and I tell him about the last few months of my life. I don’t have nearly as much news to share, but he hangs on my every word like its gospel.

Towards the end of my break, Wyatt stands and holds out his hand to me. “Walk me to my truck?” He asks, his eyes hopeful.

“Of course,” I say, taking his hand and loving the warmth of his skin, the way his callouses rub against my palm. As we head out to the parking lot, Wyatt and Thumper have some sort of silent communication. “What was that all about?” I ask as we arrive at the big white truck.

Wyatt spins us so that I’m pinned against the door, his arms bracketing me in. “That was me reminding the bouncer of our deal. When I can’t be here, he keeps a close eye on you and keeps you safe.”

“Wyatt-” I start to protest, but he cuts me off with a finger to my lips.

“Now, now, honey bee. It’s either that or I stay here until midnight and make the drive back to ranch after following you home. Which do you prefer?”

His protectiveness is sweet, and crazy hot, but the thought of him making that long drive so late only to have to wake up three hours later sounds too dangerous. I don’t want anything to happen to him.

“Fine,” I say against his finger. “It’s not like anyone is going to hurt me anyway. I’ve been here for months and no one has ever stepped out of line.”

“And thank fuck for that,” he says, running his finger from my lips, down my chin and neck, and resting just above the collar of my shirt.

My boobs have always been a bit unwieldy, so the collar dips pretty far and shows a fair amount of cleavage.

“You don’t even want to know the kind of carnage I would bring down on this place if someone had. ”

His finger runs along the line of my shirt, causing goosebumps to break out along my skin and my nipples to harden.

“This body is mine, isn’t it honey bee?” When his finger reaches my shoulder, he tugs my shirt to the side and leans in to nibble on the skin there.

“Tell me you’re mine, Georgie. I need to hear it. ”

When he reaches a particularly sensitive spot, I gasp and as he licks up and down my neck, my panties grow more and more damp. My hands grip onto his arms as he continues to drive me wild with his tongue.

“I…I’m yours,” I breath out, gasping when he starts to nip at my earlobe. “I’ve always been yours, Wyatt.”

Wyatt pops off my ear and grips my chin, turning my face to his. “Goddamn right you have,” he says just before his mouth slashes down onto mine. His warm lips are urgent, like he’s a starving man and I’m an endless buffet.

He drives his tongue into my mouth, and I suck it in further, causing him to groan and pin me between the truck and his body.

As we kiss, he grinds his pelvis against me and I feel his hardness against my stomach.

Height isn’t the only way Wyatt is above average, and I moan at the thought of taking him all at once.

I know it will probably hurt, but it will be worth the pain to have him inside me.

Wyatt reaches his hands up into my hair and holds my mouth against his, kissing me endlessly until I feel like I might pass out from a lack of oxygen. Finally, we break apart, panting for breath and looking like a couple of wild animals that just mauled one another. I suppose we did in a way.

“Fuck, honey bee,” Wyatt says, placing one more light kiss to my lips. “Your lips taste just as sweet as I remember.” He pulls me into his arms and kisses the top of my head. We sway for a few short moments before his breath ruffles my hair. “I don’t want to leave you.”

“I know,” I say sadly. As soon as I’m back inside, I already plan on giving my notice.

Hopefully they can find a replacement and I won’t have to work a whole two weeks longer.

I know I could just leave, but I don’t want to do that again.

I want to do it right this time. “I’ll be okay, and you will too. ”

Wyatt nods and hugs me tighter. “Love you, honey bee. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“You’re coming back again?” I ask. I figured tonight was a one-time thing. The idea of Wyatt making a three hour round trip drive just to spend a bit of time watching me work is crazy, but it’s also sweet and romantic.

“Of course I am,” he says, cupping my cheek gently with his hand. “I told you I was going to prove myself to you. Besides, now that I know where you are, I’m not going to stop bugging you until you’re back home with me where you belong.”

His smile is infectious, and I know I should tell him that I’m coming home soon enough and he doesn’t have to bother, but seeing Wyatt every day until I do is too tempting to pass up. “Okay. I’ll see you tomorrow then.”

“Yes, you will,” he tells me, leaning down and taking my mouth in another kiss. “Love you, honey bee.”

I sigh happily as I give him one last hug. “I love you too,” I tell him, watching as he walks to his truck and hops inside.

The passenger window rolls down and he nods at the bar. “You know I’m not leaving until you’re safely inside,” he says with a smirk.

“Alright, alright,” I say, blowing him a kiss and turning and walking up to the bar. True to his word, Wyatt waits until I’m at the door to even start his truck. With one last smile and wave in his direction, I head back into work to finish my shift.

As I pass Thumper, he smiles at me. “I think you have a good one there, Miss Georgie,” he says, bumping me with his shoulder.

“Yea, yea I do.” I smile at him and walk up to Knuckles.

He’s not surprised when I give my notice and tells me to just finish out the rest of my shifts this week and I can be done.

I’m so excited that I can barely contain myself, and the smile doesn’t leave my face for the next few hours, or as I go to sleep, dreaming about a life with Wyatt I didn’t think was possible, but now is looking more and more certain.
