25. Ruwon #2

She nodded as Matteo stood there, panting.

Levi sucked his cock clean and Matteo leaned down to kiss him.

Violeta sighed, my cock slipping out of her as I wrapped my arms around her.

A peace I never knew existed suddenly overwhelmed me.

My best friends weren’t drifting apart, the thought of going back to work wasn’t daunting, and the past few days I hadn’t had an overbearing urge to fall apart.

I don’t know what Violeta was doing to us, and I didn’t know what our future looked like, I just knew she was at the center of making everything feel right.

“Thank you,” I murmured.

“For what?” she yawned.

“For everything,” I said, not knowing what else to say.

“Anytime,” she mumbled, turning around sleepily.

She laid her head on my chest and the weeks ahead seemed less intimidating. I knew it was all because of her.

“This is so beautiful,” Violeta said, brushing hair out of her face as she turned around to see the sun setting. “I don’t want to leave.”

After a little nap, we were back in the ocean enjoying the last few hours we would be here.

“It’s gorgeous here and so peaceful,” Matteo said, swimming closer to her. “I hate being a functioning adult in society.”

He came up behind her, kissing her shoulder.

“At least you’re close to here,” Violeta said, leaning back against him.

“Maybe you need to be an addition to our yearly Greece trip,” Levi said, looking between Matteo and I.

“God, I would love that,” she said, closing her eyes.

Could we do this every year with her? See her once for two weeks out of the year, have fun and then go back to our busy lives.

“Or you could move to Italy,” Matteo said.

“Or I could move to Italy,” she said wistfully, closing her eyes.

“Italy is a lot closer. Maybe more trips together,” I said.

“Just a short trip to Paris or Barcelona,” Levi said, swimming closer to her.

“Don’t tempt me,” she groaned.

“I would hire you,” Levi said. “You know your shit, probably more than I do.”

Violeta laughed, opening her eyes. “I don’t need a job. I’ve been working remotely.”

“I’ll pay you double,” Levi said.

Violeta laughed. “Honestly, you could probably help me with my job.”

“What do you do for work?” Matteo asked.

“I currently—”

“Hello!”

Mark stood by the beach.

“The boat is ready to leave when you are. Dinner will be served in an hour.”

“Thank you!” I yelled, not ready to leave, wondering if there was a way to have dinner out here.

“I’m starving,” Violeta said, swimming away from us.

“Mark said tonight a local chef will be cooking for us,” Matteo said, swimming next to me.

My stomach grumbled as I got out, and followed everyone to our cabana. We dressed quickly and made our way to the boat.

“Would you guys be ok with watching a movie as we eat?” Violeta suggested. “Mark talked about that projector and—”

“Hell yeah,” Levi said, helping Violeta onto the boat.

“I think that's a great idea,” I said, walking on.

“Yeah, comfy clothes, eating on the couch sounds perfect,” Matteo said, stretching as he came onboard last.

“Great!” Violeta said, getting excited.

“Let me inform Mark and I’ll meet you guys downstairs,” I said, patting Matteo’s back as I went to go look for Mark.

“Ask him for popcorn!” Violeta yelled.

“I will!” I yelled back.

“We can bring the table from the inside and lower it to coffee table height,” Mark said, after I found him.

“That sounds great,” I said, watching the crew getting dinner ready.

“I will also bring popcorn and snacks after dinner,” he said, writing things down. “Shall I bring pillows and blankets outside as well?”

“Yeah, probably best, Violeta gets cold,” I agreed. “Maybe some hot chocolate or warm tea as well.”

“Good idea, sir,” he said, smiling. “Let me know if you need anything else.

“I will and thank the chef for what he’s preparing,” I said, throwing my towel over my shoulder.

“Will do, sir,” Mark said.

“Thanks Mark, remind me to give you a bonus when we dock,” I said.

“You don’t need to,” he said seriously. “You pay me enough for these two weeks to last me months.”

“Well, you deserve it when you have to deal with us and the last minute guest.”

“I’m glad you’ve found someone who makes you happy, sir,” he smiled. “She brings a certain softness and she seems very adaptable. I can see why you all like her.”

I didn’t know what to say to that. I thought we were being discreet.

“I apologize, sir, if I overstepped,” he said quickly.

“No, it's just I thought we were being discreet and I can see maybe we need to work on that,” I said, wondering who else had put two and two together.

“I can assure you the crew would never say anything,” he added. “We are all under NDA’s and you are fair to us; we would never break that trust, even if there wasn’t an NDA.

“Good to know, Mark,” I said, realizing maybe I had gotten too comfortable with Violeta.

“I apologize again, sir,” he said softly. “I only meant to say that because you truly seem happy for the first time and I enjoy seeing you all happy.”

“I understand,” I said, already worrying about who else might have seen us, or taken a picture of us.

We just fucked on the beach, anyone could have gotten a peek.

I was about to go back into acting and I couldn’t have a scandal on my hands.

The headlines would eat it up. I could already imagine reading, ‘Korean actor shares his girlfriend with his besties!’.

My stomach soured, going into panic mode.

Why did I think I could have this? The world wouldn’t spare me from its scrutiny and I knew how judgmental fans could be.

If I wanted to keep my acting career, I needed to figure out what I really wanted. Was Violeta worth losing everything I had worked so hard to build?
