CHAPTER6 [GOING BACK]
She turns… and their eyes meet.
For a moment, everything stops.
Vihaan looks at her—really looks at her—and gets lost.
Her black eyes… deep and unreadable.
Long lashes casting soft shadows.
Pink lips… calm, yet distant.
Like she was right there… yet miles away.
---
Aarohi comes back to her senses first.
Without a word, she steps forward.
Vihaan’s heartbeat skips—
thinking she’s coming towards him…
But she walks past him.
Just like that.
As if he was never there.
---
A slight shock hits him.
His brows furrow.
“Is she… the same girl?”
“Or someone else entirely…?”
---
Outside the café—
Aarohi walks out with Sana.
No looking back.
No pause.
They take a cab… and leave straight for the hotel.
---
Vihaan steps outside moments later.
His eyes scan around…
But she’s already gone.
And for the first time—
He doesn’t understand what just happened.
---
Main aap ke is rawaiye ko kya samjhu,
Aap humse milkar bhi na mile… ise kya naam du?
Aankhon ne toh pehchaan liya tha aapko,
Phir kyun dil ko anjaan banaya aapne?
Itni doori bhi kya zaroori thi humare darmiyaan,
Ke paas hoke bhi faasle mehsoos hue…
Aap aaye bhi, aur chale bhi gaye,
Jaise kabhi the hi nahi… meri duniya mein.
------
Aarohi reaches the hotel… Sana with her.
The moment they step inside, Sana turns to her, concern clear in her eyes.
“Tu theek hai na? And why hotel? Ghar nahi gayi?”
Aarohi gives a faint, tired smile.
“Gayi thi… but they don’t even want to see my face.”
A pause.
“I’m going back to London… tonight.”
---
Sana’s eyes widen.
“Have you lost it? Tu chutti pe aayi hai! We’ll go out, have fun… then go back.”
Aarohi shakes her head.
“Kya maza, Sana? Leave it. I’ve already booked my ticket. I just want to go back… at least waha in sab cheezon se door rahungi.”
---
Sana looks at her for a moment… then sighs softly.
“Theek hai… if this is your decision, I respect it.”
A small smile forms on her lips.
“But dinner hum saath mein karenge. Flight subah 4 baje ki hogi na? Please mana mat karna.”
---
Aarohi looks at her… then nods.
“Theek hai.”
---
The two sit together, talking… trying to keep things normal.
But somewhere—
both know nothing is normal anymore.
---
On the other side…
Vihaan walks back into his company.
Everything is the same—
employees, work, noise—
But his mind…
Isn’t there.
It’s stuck.
On her.
---
Inside his cabin—
He stands near the window, jaw tight.
Eyes dark.
Thinking.
---
“Karan.”
His voice is low.
Controlled.
---
Karan steps in.
“Yeah, bro?”
---
Vihaan turns, his expression unreadable.
“Mujhe uska pura bio-data chahiye.”
A pause.
“Pichle 5 saal… kaha thi, kya kar rahi thi—everything.”
His gaze hardens.
“And suddenly… she shows up like this…”
Another pause.
“As if she knows me… and at the same time—doesn’t.”
---
Let's see what the next move.
