CHAPTER11 [IN LONDON]

Later—

Vihaan returns home.

---

Inside the mansion—

His mother is sitting in the hall.

On the couch.

Waiting.

---

Vihaan walks in.

Removes his coat.

And sits beside her.

---

Before he can say anything—

Arjun walks in too.

And takes a seat.

---

Their mother looks at both of them.

Then sighs.

---

“Ab mujhe yeh batao… tum log shaadi kab karoge? (Now tell me… when are you both getting married?)”

A pause.

Her tone turns slightly emotional.

“Kahin mere marne ka wait toh nahi kar rahe ho? (You’re not waiting for me to die, are you?)”

---

Vihaan immediately reacts.

“Aap aisi baatein kyun kar rahi ho? (Why are you saying things like this?)”

Then casually adds—

“Arjun bhai ki shaadi karao. (Get Arjun married.)”

“Mujhe in sab mein interest nahi hai. (I’m not interested in all this.)”

---

Arjun leans back.

“Mujhe bhi nahi hai. (Me neither.)”

---

Their mother’s expression changes.

Now—firm.

Strict.

---

“Bas! Ab bohot ho gaya. (Enough! This is too much now.)”

Her voice carries authority.

---

“Tum dono ki shaadi hogi. (Both of you will get married.)”

“Aur woh bhi ek saath. (And that too together.)”

---

Both brothers exchange a glance.

---

She continues—

“Kya tum dono ko koi pasand hai? (Do either of you like someone?)”

“Agar hai toh batao. (If yes, tell me.)”

---

Vihaan smirks faintly.

“Main toh chhota hoon. (I’m the younger one.)”

“Mujhse bade do hain… pehle unki karao. (There are two elder ones… get them married first.)”

---

Their mother shakes her head.

“Nahi. (No.)”

“Tum teeno ki shaadi hogi. (All three of you will get married.)”

“Bas—baat khatam. (That’s final.)”

---

Then she adds—

“Lekin pehle tum dono ki hogi. (But first, you two.)”

“Tumhari behen ki baad mein hogi. (Your sister’s will be later.)”

A softer tone—

“Abhi uski ek saal ki padhai baaki hai. (She still has one year of studies left.)”

“Uske baad uska dekhungi. (After that, I’ll look into hers.)”

---

Vihaan leans forward slightly.

A calm but sharp look in his eyes.

---

“aap Arjun bhai ki karwa do. (You can get Arjun married.)”

“Mujhe abhi London jaana hai. (I have to go to London now.)”

---

A pause.

---

“Wahan ek contract sign karna hai. (There’s a contract I need to sign there.)”

---

His tone sounds normal.

On the other side—

Aarohi is at her flat.

Trying to rest.

---

But suddenly—

Her phone rings.

Hospital.

Emergency.

---

She doesn’t waste a second.

Grabs her things—

And rushes out.

---

At the hospital—

Everything is chaotic.

Nurses running.

Doctors alert.

---

A nurse rushes to her.

“Ma’am, patient ko heart attack aaya hai… (Ma’am, the patient had a heart attack…)”

“3 baar… bachna mushkil hai. (Three times… survival is very difficult.)”

---

Aarohi’s expression turns sharp.

“Tum yeh kaise decide kar sakti ho bina try kiye? (How can you decide that without even trying?)”

---

Without another word—

She walks straight into the operation theatre.

---

“Prep the patient. (Patient ko prepare karo.)”

“Vitals monitor pe rakho. (Keep the vitals on monitor.)”

---

The surgery begins.

---

“Scalpel. (Scissor.)”

“Forceps.”

“Suction.”

“Clamp.”

---

Her voice—

Calm.

Precise.

Commanding.

---

Every movement—

Perfect.

Every second—

Critical.

---

The team watches her.

Focused.

Controlled.

Fearless.

---

Minutes feel like hours.

---

Then—

The monitor stabilizes.

---

A nurse looks up.

Eyes wide.

“Ma’am… patient stable hai. (Ma’am… the patient is stable.)”

---

Aarohi steps back.

Removes her gloves.

Takes a deep breath.

---

Operation—

Successful.

---

Days later—

The news spreads.

---

A patient who had almost no chance of survival—

Is alive.

Because of her.

---

Aarohi Mehra.

---

Her hard work.

Her passion.

Her skill.

---

She gets promoted.

And two days later—

She’s going to receive an award.

---

For saving a life…

Everyone thought was already lost.

---

On the other side—

Vihaan lands in London.

---

Without wasting time—

He handles his work.

Signs the contract.

Everything smooth.

Everything under control.

---

Later—

Karan walks in.

---

“Kal London ke sabse bade hospital mein award ceremony hai. (Tomorrow, there’s an award ceremony at one of London’s biggest hospitals.)”

---

Vihaan looks at him.

Uninterested.

“At St. Thomas’ Hospital. (St. Thomas’ Hospital.)”

---

Karan continues—

“Tumhe invite kiya gaya hai—chief guest ke taur par. (You’ve been invited as the chief guest.)”

---

A pause.

---
