Epilogue

Favalor

Vianna moaned into my mouth as I met her hungry kisses with a passion of my own.

I had been in love with her since the moment I hit puberty.

Once I began aware of females as more than friends, I knew I wanted Vianna and Vianna only.

We hadn’t glowed for each other yet, but that didn’t matter to me.

One day I would make her mine. I just needed to prove to her brother that I was a worthy male and not the trader he thought me to be.

As if by some cruel twist of fate, I heard her brother’s very distinct growl from behind me. I’d unfortunately come to know that sound well from the amount of times he’d growled at me over the past few months.

I thought now that he had a mate and child, his disdain for me would lesson, but it only seemed to get worse.

He would hold little Zamena close to his chest as if to protect her from me.

I hated it. I had only followed Dameron to protect people from the inside.

Everyone else seemed to understand that, why couldn’t he?

“Get away from my sister,” Zander’s words dripped with hatred.

I slowly turned to find the big male fully shifted into his fire form. If he was intimidating before, he was doubly so now.

Vianna shifted into her snake form and put herself between me and her brother.

“Stop bullying him!” she shouted.

“I am not bullying him! I’m demanding a dishonorable male to leave my sister alone,” he seethed.

“He is an honorable male! You just refuse to see it!”

“Honorable? He sided with Dameron and then he went out hunting with Sozu, our only healer, and came back alone. How could that be honorable?!”

Vianna opened her mouth to speak, but I held up my hand to silence them both.

“This has gone on long enough,” I sighed. “If you refuse to believe what I say is true, then I will get the evidence needed to prove my innocence. I will find Gil, Sozu, and Anusha and bring them all back. I am an honorable male, and I’m going to prove it.”

THE END.
