Following Julian’s decision to hand her case off to his brother, Isla discovered that Jackson was an excellent attorney and was great about keeping her updated. From him, she learned that Gabriel had declined medical attention and had posted bail—again.

From him, she learned that Gabriel had been served with divorce papers and had tried to beat up the process server, leading to him being arrested—again.
