CHAPTER ELEVEN

Charlotte read through the most recent edits made on a proposal that she’d had land on her metaphorical desk, initialing and signing on her tablet when appropriate. Namely, she was doing her best to keep her mind on work .

And, in fairness, she was doing a decent job. This was a proposal she was soundly behind and had helped secure funding for, regarding building accommodations for the unhoused, and she’d already read over this proposal thoroughly several times.

It just so happened that she presently had some… other matters on her mind.
