H unting the inebriated was horribly anticlimactic.

A white, vaporous mist danced across wet cobblestones, as I made my way down a shadowy alley in the heart of Emberwick, a moderately-sized, moody village just outside of Dracadia University.

Like most of the villages on the island, it had retained its old-century charm, with French gothic architecture and vine-covered shops.

A dizzying maze of coffee houses, book shops, museums, and as I understood, the most decadent chocolate on the east coast. Hardly a place for depravity, but that was exactly what I sought there.
