Finally! Reading the email from Jackson, Hunter frowned. While permission was granted for a visit no longer than two weeks, it was the tone of it that caused him the most concern. Staring at the screen, he couldn’t put his finger on it, but it just didn’t sound like the Jackson he’d known.

Sticking his head in Hunter’s study, Mac asked, “Hey, you wanted to see me?”
