Epilogue

“Shit, Si.” My hand palmed the top of his head as I lifted my hips to meet his mouth.

“Don’t make all that noise and wake my son up, Wyn,” he said in between licks.

I bit the inside of my cheek to stifle the moan that threatened to escape me.

Every morning, Osiris woke me up with his head between my legs, or his dick buried inside of me. It was the reason why I was pregnant now. He accomplished his goal of getting me pregnant months ago when we went to Paris. My due date was quickly approaching, but according to my doctor, I could have this baby any day now.

Osiris was over the moon when we found out and hadn’t missed anything. He had been there for every doctor’s appointment. He catered to all my cravings, even when he thought they were weird. He would rub my back and my feet every day after work. He was perfect, and I couldn’t ask for a better person to share this experience with.

“Si, baby, I’m about to…” My words were clipped as I came on his tongue and squirted on the bed.

Osiris moaned as he continued to lick and suck on my pussy.

When he had his fill, he moved to the head of the bed and positioned himself on the side of me.

“Turn on your side,” he demanded.

Lately, the only way we’d been able to have sex was if I was on my side. Anything else had been uncomfortable.

Doing as he said, I turned on my side and tooted my ass. I wasn’t sure how much longer we would be able to have sex, but I was going to enjoy it until our baby decided to grace us with her presence. Finding out we were having a girl sent Osiris into super protective mode. We moved into the house he purchased for us, and he had someone install a fence around it, and we had state-of-the-art cameras. After that situation with Shannon, he told me he wasn’t playing about mine or our kids’ safety, and I agreed.

Osiris lifted my leg, and we both moaned when he slid into me.

“Pussy too damn wet, Wyn. I’m about to slide out of this muthafucka.”

His fingers dug into the skin of my side as his dick slid in and out of me.

I turned my face into my pillow to muffle my moans.

He made love to me for another few minutes until we both reached our climax.

“Do you feel up to cooking breakfast with me?” Osiris asked while his dick was still deep inside of me.

I yawned and stretched. “Yes. Can we shower first?”

“Of course, we can, but we better make it quick because you know once your son wakes up, he’s going to bang on the door for some food.” He chuckled then got out of bed.

He came around to my side of the bed and helped me up. I placed my hand in his and followed him to the en suite. While he turned on the shower with multiple showerheads, I used the bathroom.

When I was done, Osiris helped me into the shower.

As he washed my back, I felt a cramp and grabbed my stomach.

“You good?”

“Yeah, just a little cramp. I’m okay. Dr. Beckam said it was normal to have some cramping.”

“I remember. Are you sure you okay with cooking?”

I turned to face him and let the water rinse me off. I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed his chest. “Yes, love. I’m okay,” I assured him, but truthfully, I wasn’t sure. I didn’t want to worry him, so I kept my thoughts to myself.

He leaned down and kissed my lips. “Okay. Let me know if you aren’t though. I don’t want you to overexert yourself.”

I smiled at him and reassured him again that I was fine.

We spent a couple more minutes in the shower, loving on each other.

“What made you be a food critic instead of a chef since you went to culinary school?” I asked Osiris as we stood at the stove together making breakfast.

I rubbed my stomach while Osiris flipped the bacon.

“At some point, I realized I enjoyed eating the food more than I liked cooking. My parents weren’t too pleased at first since they spent money on me going to culinary school, but they understood.”

“Daddy.” Little O came running into the kitchen.

Osiris bent down and opened his arms. “Hey, man,” he said as he hugged him. “Are you going to say good morning to your mom?”

Little O reached for me, and I took him from his father’s arms. He wrapped his little arms around my neck, and I snuggled him against my chest.

“Are you supposed to be holding him?” Osiris asked with his hand on Little O’s back.

“I’m fine. Ah.” I grabbed my belly when a cramp hit me.

“Mommy okay?” Little O looked into my eyes and rubbed my cheek.

My baby was always so concerned when I didn’t feel well. Osiris and I had talked to him about being a big brother, and he seemed to understand for the most part. The real test would come when the baby came, and if the pains were any indication, we wouldn’t be waiting much longer.

I walked over to the table and put him in the seat. Big O came up behind me and put his hand on my back. Before I could sit down, my water broke.

“Shit.” Osiris jumped back. “What is that?”

“My water broke, Si.” I deadpanned.

“What?” Osiris ran out of the kitchen, but I had no idea where he went.

I rubbed my stomach and gripped the back of the chair. It was a good thing I had my phone in my pocket, so I called my doctor and my mom. Dr. Beckam told me she would meet me at the hospital, and my mom was on her way over to sit with Little O since she lived the closest.

“Mommy peed on herself,” Little O said, his eyebrows bunched together.

I couldn’t help but smile. My baby was oblivious to what was going on.

“No, baby. Mommy didn’t pee on herself; the baby is coming today.”

He looked genuinely confused.

“What do you need me to do?” Osiris asked when he ran back into the kitchen. He ran his hand over his head, and he looked so stressed.

Considering this wasn’t my first time, I was a lot calmer than I was with Little O. I knew if I started to freak out, Osiris would, and so would his son.

“I just need you to help me put my clothes on and take me to the hospital. My mom is on her way over.”

“Okay, okay.” He ran out of the kitchen again, and all I could do was shake my head.

Once I managed to put my clothes on and my mom arrived, Osiris helped me to the car and drove us to the hospital. I wasn’t sure we would make it because he drove way too fast. Luckily, the hospital wasn’t too far, so it didn’t take long for us to get there.

Osiris pulled up to the curb and helped me out of the car.

When we got inside and told them what was happening, they quickly moved me up to the labor and delivery floor.

“I have to go park the car,” Osiris said as I changed into the hospital gown.

“Okay. I’m not going anywhere.” I smirked.

He kissed my lips and told me he’d be right back.

While he was gone, the nursing staff hooked me up to the machines and got me settled.

When Osiris came back into the room, he pulled up the chair and sat next to the bed. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. “How are you feeling?”

“So far, I’m okay. Who knows how long it’s going to take.”

“I called Mom on my way back, and she said she and Little O are good. My mom is on her way up here.”

“Okay.”

We discussed with our mothers who would be able to come into the delivery room, and since my mom was there for the first time, she was okay with staying home with Little O so Mrs. Gray could be here. My mom would bring Little O sometime after the baby came.

The sound of the baby’s heartbeat echoed through the room. I closed my eyes to try to get some rest before the baby came because within the next few hours, things would drastically change.

Eventually, I fell asleep, but when I woke up, I was in a lot of pain, and baby girl was on her way out.

Osiris was on one side of me, as his mother stood on the other side. I wasn’t even sure when she had gotten here.

“Okay, Wynter. Your baby is ready to meet you guys. Are you ready to push?”

I nodded as a contraction ripped through me. “Ahh.” I squeezed Osiris’s hand.

“You got this, baby.” Osiris leaned over and kissed my forehead, even though it was covered in sweat.

My chest heaved as I breathed in and out.

“On the count of three, I need you to push, Wynter,” Dr. Beckam said.

She counted down, and I pushed but had to stop for a minute.

I flinched a little when Osiris used a cold washcloth to wipe my forehead.

“Sorry, baby.”

“It’s okay.” I felt exhausted.

A minute or two passed before another contraction hit me.

“Push, Wynter, push,” Dr. Beckam encouraged, and when I did, I felt a lot of pressure. “I see her head.”

Osiris let my hand go and moved to the front of the bed.

“I feel like I need to push again.”

“Okay. One last push.”

“Ahh.” I pushed again and felt so much relief.

A second later, my baby girl’s cries filled the room. I looked at Osiris, and the tears falling down his face made me cry as well.

He looked up at me and mouthed, “Thank you.”

Everything else went by so fast, and before I knew it, they were placing my baby on my chest. I smiled when I looked down at my baby who looked just like her father.

“Congratulations, you two,” Mrs. Gray said as she smiled down at the baby.

“Thanks, Mom,” Osiris responded.

“I’m going to notify everyone and give you two some privacy for a little bit. Call me if you need anything, but I’ll be back in a few.”

She rubbed the top of the baby’s head, kissed my cheek, then left the room.

Everyone had left the room, so it was just the three of us.

“Can you believe we have another baby?” Osiris asked as he ran a finger over our baby’s curls.

She had a head full of hair, just like me and Little O did when we were born.

“I can’t.” I looked down at the baby. “Hey, Weslyn Gray.”

Osiris and I went back and forth on names for the last two months, and we settled on Weslyn. We wanted her name to start with a W like mine. If it were a boy, he would have had an O name like his father and brother.

“She’s so perfect.” Osiris leaned over and kissed my lips. “Just like her mother. Thank you, Wynter. I never imagined when I came home, I would be coming home for love. ”

“Me either, and thank you for being the perfect father and partner.”

He smiled and kissed me again.

We sat in silence and stared at our baby as she slept peacefully in my arms.

I would have never guessed we’d be here, but I couldn’t be any happier. I had my dream job, a perfect almost husband, and the perfect children. Life could throw us curveballs, but I knew with Osiris by my side, we would get through anything.

The End!
